Man I knew Thul and Falmiis were the Werewolves and got stuck in that Tanner play belief so no one wanted to go for them.

I had a terrible game. I had no idea what to do with Tanner. I overplayed my hand because I bought into Daraius's lies about the robber and was so relieved to think I might be town that I chose to play as if I had. Hoped pulling Reign-level Tekora attention would draw some suspicion, though. Don't think that works on one-day games, unfortunately.
Weirdly pleased I guessed the werewolves right. TAKE THAT, @DARAIUS.
edit: I only voted Cen because Luce said I couldn't vote for myself, and I knew no one else would be targeting her.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Muahahahaaaaaaaa. Haha. Hahaha. That was pretty cool. I was genuinely confused, must admit. I think I was a pretty good little minion, deflecting the heat as best I could! I was counting on Daraius getting a few votes for his seer shenanigans since I think Sylandra was too obviously a tanner in the end. We all know your level of evil genius!
Heh, let that be lesson 1 for town then. Be very careful to lie by omission if you must lie.

Yeah I got outplayed pretty hard there. I was kind of amazed that I had any heat at all from Daraius on the last page so I tried to milk it for what it was worth. I thought it was blindingly obvious at that point I was the Tanner, and ergo, Falmiis and Thul were no-good baddies because I'd been tricked into playing my hand.
And then apparently I'm a robber who stole from a wolf and I thought maybe there is hope?? (There was no hope. There was never hope.)
I actually thought Dar's lie had bought town their victory because it revealed via me that Falmiis was lying, but then no one believed me so I'm not sure the Seer/Mason lie gained much of anything in the end.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Got to thank the masons for not actually voting or talking in the shared chat. Realised after I made it that it wasn't the best idea. I thought the "I used to be a tanner" line from Falmiis was impressive, and I laughed like a madman when Cyndarin chose both werewolves.
Coincidences abound. First, the troublemaker swapped, of all things, the two werewolves. Next, Daraius' well meant bluff to draw out the robber/seers and gain their trust backfired because it was precisely those two not in the game. gg.

Oh and obligatory apology to @Daraius for being "super mean" in my quest to be shifty and bizarre, as well as utterly disoriented as to my role alignment and in which way I should swing it. I'm sorry I was abrasive to you in your first mafia game! Was not how I expected it to go when I signed up, haha.
But before Dar accepts the above apology I want to be #PettyLaBelle about this for just a second because of reasons:
I don't buy Sylandra's theory that Thul and Falmiis are Wolves covering for each other. It's too unlikely that the Troublemaker would randomly claim that those two, out of the ten of us, were swapped.
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
Here's what happened. I knew it was suspicious that Falmiis and Thul claimed the roles nobody wanted to lynch, but I thought there was no way Cyndarin just happen to swap the werewolves unless she was the Minion false-claiming, which would have meant Robber, Seer, and Troublemaker were unused. The odds were not in my favor. ( And thanks a flipping lot, @SYNKARIN. Have fun at our lodge meetings alone now.
That was super fun y'all. I couldn't take a weeks-long mafia epic with who knows how many mystery roles, but this was just the right amount of psychological torture for just the right amount of time. @Sylandra you broke my brain and my heart. Also I forgot we can edit posts now.
I was right! Poor work timing couldn't explain my choice.

The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.
I did! Ps this is super awkward to write on my phone.

I'm sorry, @Daraius I blew the pooch on that one. In Hindsight, I totally see what you were doing, but I was still too stuck in mafia that the revelation blew my mind and confused the shizzle out of me.
Stop listening to Darius, he's shooting us all in the foot and making the town act crazy with his conspiracy theories. Do I listen to my chihuahua when I vote for President? No, neither should you.
Can we kill Darius out of town rage now? Stop convoluting the game with mastermind plots, dog man. Good grief, no wonder the town is all twisted, do you know how confusing you've made this for everyone?
I'd be happy to play another, if there's room or there isn't someone who hasn't played before me!
