No, but you can buy aethergoop for other players directly now at least!
They don't want you to be able to "transfer" aethergoop; if you could buy stuff for other characters, you could just roll up alts for the free quest aethergoop and deliver it over (or various other exploitative things). I think they want it to just be a neat little addition, not another commodity (such as dingbats or credits).

So make it sticky aethergoop, and not so sticky aethergoop

It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
I'll be honest, I wasn't very enthused about aethergoop when this started. But the idea that I can spend five bucks and not only get a few spins on the Wheel (my favorite thing besides RPing with divine), but buy a resetting, non-decay, customised tinderbox? Win.

The dousing crystal sounds like it could be fantastic for certain quests. Does it consume any balance?
I'd like to know that too; if it uses no balance, it would indeed be fantastic for certain uses. If it uses 10s balance, it's pretty worthless (DIG would tell you the same thing, and also start digging it up too).

Short Description: an elegant arachnidine half-mask of silver webs
Dropped Description: A mask of silver spiderwebs and black widows has been cast aside.
Extended Description: Pale silver has been fashioned into an ornate filigree half-mask, worked into
the delicate, ethereal lines of spiderwebs that caress and veil the upper portion of the countenance
in an argent shroud of metallic lace. Whilst constructed of purely refined silver, the nature of the
metal is such that it conforms faithfully to the contours of the face, moulding to it as easily as
spider's silk. Adorned with minuscule diamonds that glitter like moonlit dew, the mask possesses two
eyeholes, each wrought in an elongated almond-shape, gracefully swept into a stylised flourish at
their outside corners. Though the lineaments and curvature of the visage are revealed through the
spaces in the filigree, this mask intrigues more than it divulges, the errant play of shadow across
the countenance flickering like falling raven feathers. Benighted opals carved into the dainty
bodies of black widow spiders cling to the silvery strands, glints of sanguine red flashing
ominously amidst their caliginous depths just as the gaze is turned away. New threads of esoteric
design seem to be spun or clipped with every individual glimpse at this mask, the enigmatic
arachnids perfectly still and mute, simply ornamental additions to this beauteous mask.
This. This is a thing of beauty.
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"
You will find that the masks were not released with specific orgs in mind; as requested they were a bit more neutral. They certainly skim some themes, it's near impossible not to, but we hope you'll find them to your liking in all orgs!
I looooooooove that there is no 'elfen bone cherub wing blood splattered mask' for Magnagora. The aristocracy appreciate good fashion in Magnagora -pearls-.
You might message estarra and just ask for an exchange. She usually goes waaaaay out of her way to help people who are polite and ask nicely.

So, like, I totally came up with a special and unique idea for a cheap goop item.
a goop-coated curio piece - 1 goop
Affixing this curio piece to a partial will cause it to randomly form into one of the normal pieces that are missing! Cannot turn into the rare piece. Might exclude quest curios (waystation, vernal, soulless) as deemed appropriate.
Could it be changed to where it only takes 5 aethergoop to reskin an already artifacted vial? It's currently 8 to buy one, or 10 to reskin.

Awesome, I'd bugged it, as well as typo'd something in the inscribe function. I love the description of the globes though, thank you for these!
Edit: Phone magic success!
You give a snowglobe of the disastrous Cosmic Hope expedition a gentle shake, stirring up the translucent particles and bringing the scene within to life.
Ominous stygian tendrils spread out throughout the snowglobe in coils and swirls of writhing, sinister darkness, seemingly strangling every hapless participant of the Cosmic Hope expedition in the merciless embrace of the Taint.
The divine voice
of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations,
Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."
You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!
You know, I don't really need a snowglobe or a mask or a dowsing rod or any of these neat toys, but I find myself scouring their descriptions, too. Everyone has done such an amazing job bringing these little things to life! I mean, a jar of fireflies that's actually a tinderbox? Who WOULDN'T want one of those?
