He is a radiant immortal and is a vision of the macabre. The skull of Karlach takes the place of his
head, stained red with the blood of its death and draped in a web shimmering with dew drops; spiders
stalk across the web, repairing and elaborating the silvery veil. Lacking a visible neck, an
ethereal darkness plunges below clothing, no flesh or bone can be seen except his gaunt hands and
long, tapering fingers that are besmirched with the crimson of blood and bestial tribal markings. He
is wearing a wreath of midnight black roses, torn robes of black leather, a cloak of crow feathers
and the decapitated head of Karlach.

Milo, the Blossoming Corpse quickly catches the decapitated head of Karlach as it slowly tilts to
the side.
Milo, the Blossoming Corpse tenderly readjusts the head, and holds it in position.
"Oops!" you say to Milo with an embarrassed grin.

Milo, the Blossoming Corpse glides forward toward Crek, pulling off the decapitated head of Karlach and bouncing it off of Crek's head before replacing it once more.

In a rather gruesome display Milo, the Blossoming Corpse pulls off the decapitated head of Karlach,
tucking it into his robes, and swapping it with the skull of a deer. Quickly holding it above the
ethereal darkness of his body, the darkness somewhat fills the skull and holds it in place.

Milo, the Blossoming Corpse spins webbing in the air with slow tender movements of his hands,
affixing the shrunken heads of Ryboi, Idrazil and Avurekhos to his antlers.
Viravain, Lady of the Thorns shouts, "And You would seize Me? Fool! I am the Glomdoring! I am the Wyrd, and beneath the cloak of Night, the shadows of the Silent stir!"

Tentacles trailing in brilliant tails, a sequined squid curio lies here. Glittering with myriad gemstones, a jewelled turtle hides here in his exquisite shell. A miniature candy mountain rises from the ground here, rock candy crystal formations glittering on its surface. Rising in an imposing mass of black iron, an iron cross stands here, radiating a miasma of dread and pain. Cracked and weathered, an onyx gargoyle sits here, looking forlorn. A ceramic puppy stands here at alert. Bobbing here pleasantly, a crystal sphere hums with energy as it floats upon an invisible cushion of air. All laurels annoy me. In fact, a great deal of the customization stuff annoys me, only because too many are freakishly long.

Yeah if your Laurels (or description for that matter) is outlining what anyone else does/feels/thinks...well that's generally considered to be poor rp.

Part of the problem (imo) is that there isn't any explicit consensus on what HONOURS are IC. Most of the laurels invoke some kind of IC response or effect, but the mechanism isn't clear. I have my own opinions on what the 'backstory' for honours (and MAP, and other such things) should be, but afaik, there is no official lore.
By typing HONOURS <player> you may see some publically available information about that player.
Therefore, by explicit admin direction (help file), honours are basically what your character is known for as a public figure. Think BBC profiles for politicians or actors. No matter how in love with tea you are, I'm pretty sure you won't get the urge to prostrate yourself to the British flag when you look at Tony Blair's profile, so yeah, that laurels up there about serving the light? Out of line.
