To the bolded; Yay for situational abilities! When was the last shrine war?
To the italic: You want to spy on a meeting your own ally has attented? Okay...
Not
sure why the intense defense, the fact is the fact, Veneration cant
compare to old Ascendance. It has roughly 3 abilities that are at all
useful. If im looking to spend the rest of my life in my god realm
running around quickly and getting an influence bonus, i'll be sure to
take it up...
You called Veneration 'useless.' Not that it didn't
compare to Ascendance, but lets take a look at that. Roughly half the
abilities(probably a little less) in Veneration come straight from
Ascendance. The rest are purchasable powers (Destruction, Fearaura,
Affinity, Aegis) for ascendants. Benevolence and Consumption are both
gone, poof, no longer exist. Ascendance was only accessible to
ascendants, Veneration is accessible to everyone within the cult (as
Daganev pointed out). So a skillset that consists of half the skillset
you are comparing it too, can't really be that far off. Yes, the
stronger abilities were turned into purchasable powers, but a mix of the
rest of the abilities, both flavour and mechanical, were switched to
Veneration, so it's actually really comparable, if not better because
more abilities were introduced that are actually useful.
Other than those, it seems 80% of the abilities will only have affect within the God's realm...which isnt very helpful. The old Ascendance skill, though considered a bit overpowered, was definitely of more use.
While you may enjoy the old Ascendance, it's gone... and I doubt a forum post from you will make it come back. And while you may be jealous of the cult heads in your order, that is hardly a reason to smirk at their hard-earned positions and the amount of work it took to raise a cult to full strength. Beyond that, nobody is forcing you to pick up veneration or join a cult, so I don't see where your problem is, exactly.
Generally I attempt to avoid replying to you for facepalming reasons but my post in no way was "an attempt to make it come back". Really...that's really what you got from a simple comment about Veneration skills being bad?
This one right here, which triggered the responses?
Because it sure seems like you are backpedaling quickly now.
The only responses were about how Veneration was -not- useless. Not that it was comparable to old Ascendance. Regardless, I've already addressed the Veneration/Ascendance comparison.

I leave you with your own quote. Facepalm all you like:

EDIT: Needless to say, I should probably also flag your post as abuse because it is a bit on the offensive side, but considering I graced you with an answer, and the admins clearly stated that if you're going to flag a post for abuse, you shouldn't be answering to it, I guess you get to escape the flag there.

What do you want for nothing? Go trans your own cult and then complain about how you wasted -your- time on a useless skillset.
I don't use all the skills, because I forget about them (and someone owes me more skill messages ahem), but the flavour especially is awesome. Me and my cult members always have a sneaky back door entrance to the godrealm to thwart raiders! I can hear people complaining on bubbles! AND there are extra nifty skills to give me buffs and boosts for the tiny price of a little cult essence that I don't even have to think about now, because the cult always makes more than I spend.
Why should everything in the game be super powerful spammable skills? RP flavour is awesome. Little buffs are nifty. Getting a free skillset thanks to someone elses hard work, aww yiss!
More raids on Fain and Raezon plz. Always being the target (when as usual, there is no one around to defend) is highly tiresome. Alternatively, Droc needs a godrealm to satisfy the angry Lisae that are looking for trouble!

It's fine to complain about the people being dicks while raiding (seriously, enough with the childish tells and e-peen grandstanding, fellow Serenfolk). But let's all remember that everyone raids when it is most convenient for them and inconvenient for others. There are plenty of times when Mags/Gaudis wait until no one's around to rampage through Prime Serenwilde, killing lowbies and setting fire to things. It's how raiding has ALWAYS been done.
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.

I don't think that's really the issue. You apparently have two raiders: Glevich, who (in his head) always wins his fights due to technicalities, and Avurekhos, who is leading a lot of midbie raiding parties. Granted, it's good practice and I hope they pick up plenty of tips and hints from their fighting, but a few of them are a bit too vocal that they win when only 1-3 midbie defenders show up, but run a bit too quickly when actual combatants show up.

It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
You guys do realize that you're annoying the one person that usually doesn't bother to raid and what-not, right? Just saying probably not the smartest move out there. You know who you are.

In all honesty, she might be talking about Everiine.

The raid when no one's around party has already been started, what more are you going to do?
plus with all the advantages we have in the South, with the obviously superior skills that are sooo much better than anything you have, why would you bother?
Edit: plus when is ganking the vernal ascendant of an enemy org frowned upon? You're suppose to be an org leader, it's a total gaudi move to kill you.

Yes, yes, I hear the excuses. Keep at it, perhaps one day you'll believe it yourself.

Save yourself scheduling headaches by properly configuring and using Lusternia's DATE functions.
First, visit this nifty tool. It will tell you your timezone, like this: "You are currently at GMT+/-XXXX"
Second, log into Lusternia and do CONFIG TIMEZONE <your timezone>. If the shift is in the single digits (like -3:00), you will need to add a zero, like so: CONFIG TIMEZONE -0300!
Third, you're done! You may use the DATE functions to your heart's content. Do remember that if you're in an area that uses daylight savings times, when those changes occur, you will need to change your Lusternian timezone. Instead of trying to figure out how your number changed, just visit the nice website and start at step one!
========================================
Using this feature:
This is what I believe is the best and most efficient use of the DATE feature.
First, figure out what time you want to hold your event. Let's say you want it to be... next sunday at your own 1PM. You'll be free from 12 to 4, but that's when you want to do it.
Second: Do DATE 11/7/2014 13:00. Remember, for clairty the system runs on 24 hour, or 'military' time. This means that any time after 12 noon is 12+that time. 1pm is 13, 4pm is 16, and so on. This will output a Lusternian date and time, adjusted for your timezone.
Third: Discuss this time with others related to the event, all IC! In my example, the output was the 17th of Dvarsh, 399ce, because I have a -5 offset. Everyone involved should DATE 17 DVARSH 399. If they have configged their own timezone in correctly, it will show them what date and time you plan to hold the event!
Let's say that Trader Bob lives in a distant country, and my chosen time is at 11pm for him. He has to go to work in the morning, and just can't justify an event that starts that late. He knows that an hour earlier works for him, and he proposes (IC) that we start an hour earlier, on the 16th of Dvarsh. He can either just eyeball the time difference to spout the new IC time, or if he's really uncertain, use the DATE function himself.
Figuring out OOC times IC really should be fairly simple once you have this system down!

Get in there and wreck some face. Always good to see new blood in the fray, even if they're trying to kill you.
