Am I not remembering correctly, or did Veneration - PiousSacrifice used to fully sanctify in 1 use? The wiki says that as well, and I don't see any envoy reports about it.
I just tested it out and it took about 12 uses to fully sanctify.
It fully sanctifies the first room (the Shrine itself) in one go. Everything else takes 12 uses.
As I still have not found an answer myself to this... how are you supposed to handle severe concussions (by e. g. falling off a mountain side) ? I have to this day not figured out. The one time I had it, it took 2 healers and about an hour of me thinking my char was broken with about 15 relogins to figure out I actually _had_ an affliction. After sending 'firstaid' about 1000 times, one time got through and actually m&m worked some magic and cured it, but ... I don't know how to properly handle it, if I get it.
@akyaevin Thank you. My main problem back then was, that I wasn't getting the amnesia line all the time, but rather just very seldom and the rest of the time it was eating my commands. good to know about regeneration, will keep that in mind if it happens again.

Most of the time, amnesia doesn't actually have a line, it just doesn't send your command.
Does anyone know exactly how the regaining decay time mechanic for bonded instruments works? How often it happens, is there a timer, etc etc. I can't seem to nail down anything, it just seems random.

You can regain a month of decay time per ig day that you play the instrument. I can't remember if there's a limit to how many months you can regain in one month (if there is, it's something like three? maybe?) You also can't gain more than 100 months left on your instrument.
It's a perk unlocked by the 1000cr artifact, Pendant of Divine Spark.
PENDANT OF DIVINE SPARK (racial perk artifact): 1000 credits - The racial perk system grants racial benefits at levels 1, 25, 50, 100. The artifact will give you the benefit of the level above you. - If you are already a demigod (level 100), you will be granted a special racial benefit only available through the artifact.
All racial helpfiles have a Demigod+ trait. What exactly is Demigod+ ?
There is a racial+ artifact that gives you the next thing you would get from your race, instead of having to wait till that level to get it. As the artifact would (otherwise) be useless at demigod, they added something that only demis with the arti could get.
Thanks for the responses, @Tylwyth and @Daraius, lot clearer now.
I do have another question regarding racial traits, as I've been wondering this since I've actually read the help file for faelings more closely ( I did not choose the race for racial benefits, obviously ), I've kind of wondered if I'm missing something.
Flight does have any practical use apart of having a very fun RP touch? I've found myself flying very seldom as it's more hindering and slower then actually galloping on a beast to your destination, unless I'm missing something.
Regeneration boost in natural environments, means, as far as I can tell, mostly forests. The amount of bashing / combat I happen to do in forest environments is rather minimal, even if I imagine being a member of a commune... so this buff seems to be essential limited application.
Not that I'm complaining, as said, I do love my little faeling and her ability to flutter around people and make weird air stunts and stuff. Just reading through all racial helpfiles, I kind of wonder if I'm missing something obvious.
Flying has a few combat applications - notably as an escape skill. It effectively brings you "out" of the room, and therefore can no longer be targeted or hit by passive effects. There are, however, some notable counters to this, including aeromancer melds, geyser enchantments, acrobatics highjumps and others.
At the same time, moving around while in the "flying" elevation also allows you to ignore ground-based room effects, like rubble, briarwalls and other movement hinders - and other elevation restricted on-entry effects are also ignored, like traps and gravedigger pits etc.
Faeling demigod (can't recall off-hand if this is also restricted in the same way) and demigod+ effects also kick in if you're a member of Glomdoring (not sure if non Glomdoring members get this) and you're standing in a place with Wyrd terrain - countered by Serenwilde's Pure Forest terrain. But yeah, other than that, however, most bashing areas are considered urban, and therefore the power won't become active unless you can create Wyrd terrain.
@Lerad Thank you. Learned a few new things from that :-) . That does also mean that every pure forest from seren should trigger the effect despite not being a member of the seren, as the room counts as forest then? I'll try to test that later.
We used to(as of a few months ago) have D&D style stats, STR, DEX, CON,INT,CHA, and Size. These effected things like Mana(Intelligence), ego(Charisma), Health(Constitution), melee damage(Strength), and so on.
There wee also "Race Specs" or "racial specialisations" that would occur if you played a race in a cetain org, once you reached a certain lever of skill. There "race specs" altered your stats(some went up and some went down) in a way favorable to your class. So a faeling that specialised(from basic Nature)/learned in Night or Crow would become a Shadow Faeling(or a shadowcaster faeling, or someting like that) see there INT go up, but might lose a little in siz/strenth(I forget what it was). While a Faeling Warrior who specialised in Night Or Crow would get mores Size/STR and CON but less INT or CHA.
It made sense in context. but did lead to, say, 99% of Faelings being in GLomdoring.
(save for warriors who were Aslarans for other reasons).
ANd 99% of Celestians being Merians.
So there is a big legacy of that in your racial perks(you might have noticed there are several bennefits that being in glomdoring would have given to your faeling, now you know why).
Edit to be clear, I'm not saying you should be a faeling in celest, just explaining(hopefully) why there are a lot of Merians in Celest and why most faelings are in Glom....
I just noticed currently resilience is an 1/5 buff... does the max increase when the skill gets higher? Currently that seems to make it a lot less useful then I thought it would be.
Is 'cream' or 'creme' more proper in a design, when referring to a thickened, sweetened, custard-like dessert?
The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure pure reasoning, and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog!
I'd say that's entirely up to you, fellow bird. If it's a well-known RL dessert usually named as "creme" - i.e. crème brûlée - then for the sake of conveying references (and passing it off as Delportian) it's perfectly acceptable. Otherwise, personally, I would probably stick with "cream" unless you're referring to a type of liqueur.

Does the XP bonus from achievements stack? Both with themselves and other things like golden tonics?
Yes. It all stacks. Getting 3 easy achievements (hunting, influences, vermin) plus some lips and tonics and throw in an Ikon and you can be running around 500% boost on bashing and 700% on influencing. if you get the few of the arena achievements, it goes even higher. There is also a few things here and there like the Elite bonus that pushes you even more.
Aside from the wyrden lyrebird, are there lyrebirds remaining any where else in the Basin? Or did they all leave with Lyreth?

I've taught a mount to scale, but every time I'm riding it and I scale up a mountain, I fall off my mount and fall back down. Any ideas?
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
