I completely echo and return everything that @Isune, @Charune and others have said about this past week (and year!). For most of us in Havens - and for many of you as players - this is the biggest thing that we have ever done in Lusternia. We are hugely grateful not just to those players who have been involved in the conception from start to finish, but all those who have engaged with and participated in this journey. Your feedback, enthusiasm and inspiring roleplay has been a pleasure to work with and made the stress and hard work worth it.
Thank you so much, for what has happened thus far and what is still to come as we move forward into the future of the new guilds.
It's refreshing to see such an active God community. I've only witnessed higher level admins discussing things on the forums for my original MUD, but seeing them rave about their coworkers is very nice to see.
All the raves for @Czixi who still manages to squeeze in Order RP and scenes with her order mob, despite all the work that comes with the faction events right now.
It is amazing that we have divine who take this much time for great role play.
I've definitely been impressed with the sheer amount of presence this last week or so too. Seems like there's lots going on constantly, even if I'm not really privy to it.

Lusternia's admin community seems impressively solid. There is a strong vibe that translates down even to forums and you can just tell sometimes by how they talk about each other that they are really close. Good management, team spirit, confidence in the product - whatever it is, it is working!
I haven't had a chance to clean up logs yet, but I want to send out a giant, shadowy, everlasting rave to @Viravain and every other @Admin and @Ephemeral who are orchestrating these Glomdoring events. Last night was tragic, and I'm a little heartbroken to say the least (goodbye to 10 years, my first MUD guild, and however many years as GL and GA previously)... but I'm excited to help build our new factions into something amazing.
I send my eternal love throughout the ages, Shadowdancers. The Coven of Night will always live in memory.
I'm a little heartbroken to know the SD's will no longer exist. Like, I know this change is for the best interest of the game but the SD's (and maybe we all think this about our guilds) had a unique place in Lusternia that survived the ups and downs. It endured a variety of leadership styles and retained a core identity. It was the only guild I was ever apart of that was capable of forcining elected leaders to put guild identity before personal identity. The SD identity was so concrete that it drew me to leadership , rather than shit leadership drawing me to it to replace...like pyros. SD's had an identity that literally endured a RL decade. It was unique in Lusternia as far as I could tell, and being Queen of the Night was, to date, my favorite role ever
and shit, you were a fabulous queen
forever, @Fyler. I agree with everything you said about the SD's unique existence in the Lusternian world, and I'm both bittersweetly happy and honoured to have been the last Queen and for having the personal opportunity to send the guild off at the very end.
Now it's time for moving forward and endeavouring to see Glomdoring thrive again with the awe-inspiring new concepts we're developing for our new shiny things

I'll admit that I was a bit hasty in bitching on facebook about this event and how it was handled. Now that it's unfolded, I see why Gaudi's happened the way it did.
So,, thanks to the admin that work hard despite my being seemingly thankless about this event, and being a prick in general.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
Princess Setisoki is, by far, one of the best NPCs I've ever had the pleasure of seeing and talking to. Man, Halli admin, you outdid yourselves. I'm so endeared to her already, after about a 20 minute conversation.
Shimmering chitin of rich mahogany hue forms the shapely body of this regal kephera, whose round eyes shine with the same brilliant yellow as her traditionally large abdomen. Though she does not glow with quite the same power as the Queens themselves, it is nonetheless clear that Setisoki bears the potential of that great strength - a characteristic mirrored in her noble and refined bearing. She wears a gown of deep orange that complements her colouration with the glow of a clear sunset, the style recognisably Hallifaxian and cunningly tailored to her insectoid figure. Delicate silver chains criss-cross between her antennae, bearing dangling briolette-cut beryl and opal gems that refract light upon her entirely smooth head. Princess Setisoki is quite powerful.
The release of the Seren guilds hit all the right notes and was amazing to read. I'm failing to type right but just... amazing. SerenGods, you're all amazing.
You have all been amazing during the previous week and I could not have asked for a better crew. You were present as much as possible even at ungodly hours (looking at you Saturday night), you wrote/encouraged writing of posts keeping everyone up to date, you engaged everyone in discussing the events, and you created your own roleplay moments which built on the story.
You were remarkably kind and patient, encouraging participation from everybody and waiting for everybody to arrive for major moments - no matter their IG status/age. You repeatedly loosened the rules to allow more people to be privy to momentous events (such as the council showdown with the Prince of Rust), and you even let near novices carry the weight of history-making responsibility time and again.
And finally, you were great sports about everything that befell the city and everything that the events entailed (including our Dungeons and Dragons adventure in the Catacombs). I cannot stress enough how helpful this has been. Thank you for being amazing!
I liked the mini event. And especially that it was so short, I think we all had a bit much of the huge ones lately. (Not that I don't like big events! But losing and getting new guilds so close to each other was a bit of a roller coaster!)
Cutest little parade of creepy creatures ever over in Gaudiguch. Bummed I had to leave, but what I saw was fun! Also, super cool to see the guildhalls all ruined and broken.
Edit: How could I forget?! The talking spix on Vortex had me giggling so hard!!!!
You peer at a floating spix unscrupulously.
Eyebrows raising, you say to a floating spix, "Did Talan issue you lot library cards?"
A floating spix says, "Mrgasdfa."
With a sage nod, you say to a floating spix, "Ah, I see."
A floating spix says, "Blasuafrrjjg."
Eyes widening, you say to a floating spix, "Oh? Truly? That's wonderful for you."
Out of the side of her mouth, you say to a saffron manticore with a lemony yellow mane, "Just play along."
(Gaudiguch): You say, "I have received intel on the matter. When asked if they have library cards, a spix has told me "Mrgasdfa" and "Blasuafrrjjg"."
(Gaudiguch): You say, "So. Take note or something."
(Gaudiguch): Shuyin (from the Realms of the Domoth) says, "Wise words."
I've had the pleasure of seeing a couple of the faction events, and hearing about even more than that, and I just don't think there can be enough raves for @allGodmin for coming up with such amazing stories, characters, and events. Considering how heartbreaking losing guilds was to so many of us, it really feels like you all went above and beyond to make the transition the best it can be. So now that it's all done and we're just kicking back and eating shwarma, I want to send some raves and thanks to every one of you.
The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure pure reasoning, and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog!
Hallifax has been pretty nice to log in to after my long days of late. Thanks for cheering me up and keeping me entertained during my brief spats of activity.
So after feeling very disconnected and undecided due to being absent when all the fun stuff went down, I finally bit the bullet, made a decision, instantly changed my mind and went the other way. No regrets, I feel at long last like Lavinya is returning to her true self again. @Urieth and @Shaddus in particular thank you for the RP that helped cement my decision. (And @Drocilla for the threat that was the catalyst to decide).

Is that double space a transcription error or actually in her description?
And so are the players.
Thank you. All of you.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it as amazing as it is.
