But it itself was not a part of the actual XI--it was a separate happening that depended on the XI.
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.
... it was the conclusion of the XI / HG event. It was the entire bloody point of Magnagora doing it. It could only be done while XI was active. It was not a separate event in any way, shape, or form. It was entirely tied to it. Sure, XI and HG had been out for a while, but here is the key part:
The XI was never, ever done until that point. That was the first successful completion, because we kept doing HG. If the cities had managed the XI the first time they would have had the same chance to Do Something (not necessarily the same thing of course, but they were promised a beneficial outcome for success from the very start).

I mean seriously, players only even got the HG because we spied on a meeting where Celest was talking to Mag and Nifilhema was already plotting this stuff. .Celina was all "peace out yo, Wyrd to ya mutha.". We beseeched Maeve for a counter and got HG, which was Faethorn's shield. When the shield fell... well...
You heard wrong. I walked in on a gathering of Mag / Celest leaders and planted an eyeball. Talan and I then sat in my nest and listened to nearly their entire conversation.
At the end, one of the younger people said, "Didn't Xenthos plant an eye here?" and the last words heard were from Daevos: "Give me some iron."
Celina added some obviously, but the primary moving force was this conversation (copied to both the Shadow Court and Moonhart Circle), and this is when we went to Maeve.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
