Are hexes drawn with HexenPalm able to be used in a whammy or a doublewhammy?

I'd like some clarification on this.  When I took up hexes, I had the understanding the answer is no.

Last night, I was told not being able to was a bug, had been reported, and could then use them in such a manner.

Now, however, I cannot use these hexes in a whammy or a doublewhammy.

I do not know if this is a bug or working as intended.  I'm hoping an envoy (or Iosai) who knows the answer can speak up, but I'm also issueing myself for clarification.

No, you are not supposed to be able to use palmed hexes in a whammy or a doublewhammy.
