Subj: Eye of Dynara

Greetings all.

As some of you might know, I have recently been looking for information
about the Eye of Dynara, but so far I have not found any library that
holds a book on the subject. Considering the nature of the artifact in
question, this is, of course, a travesty. I therefore offer a challenge
to you all.

The nature of the challenge is simple enough: I wish to have a book that
contains as much information as possible about the Eye. Its origins, its
holders, what it has been used for, and anything else of importance. As
a reward, I will offer up a million gold in total to be distributed
between the books submitted. I will, of course, distribute this as I see
fit, such as giving 750.000 gold to one book and 250.000 gold to
another, or any other combination.

In order to encourage you to spend as much time as possible gathering
information and writing the book, I will not judge any submissions until
two years have passed. This means you are free to send it in before that
time, but I will not read them until the two years have passed. The
first date of ruling would thus be the first of Estar 359 CE. The last
date of submission is the last of Roarkian of the same year.

It will be up to you to decide if you wish to work alone or as a group.
It will also be up to you how to split the gold between you if you work
as a group. In addition, the contest will be open to all experienced or
aspiring writers, regardless of home, and the books written by you will,
in the end, be yours to do with as you see fit (including but not
limited to submitting it as a prestigious work).
