Order Promotions and A New Ritual

(Radalise and Gabriella find themselves being promoted for the first time, and then take part in a new ritual practice!  From March of 2012 )

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Ah yes, I have business."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "Gabriella."

Maylea purses Her lips at you, looking for a kiss.

Maylea tilts Her head back and looks up at the sky.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Radalise, "I will deal with you first then."

Radalise tilts her head and listens intently.

You blink.

You say, "I'm sorry."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity reaches forward to take Radalise's hands.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Radalise, "Young, yes, but brimming with life and enthusiasm."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Radalise, "I have been pleased to count you as

one of Mine, and with great pleasure I draw you closer to Me."

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm beams broadly, blushing.

You blink.

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm exclaims, "Thank You! Thank You so much!"

You clap your hands together merrily.

Maylea leans close to Radalise and gently lays a kiss upon her forehead.

You say to Radalise, "Congratulations, Raddy."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Usually I would announce it, but the only other is here to witness."

Radalise giggles happily.

You giggle happily.

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm reverently turns the bindi over in her hands before carefully slipping into it.

Radalise slips into a translucent crystal bindi.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "And now you!"

You flap your arms madly.

You say, "Me?"

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity gently takes your hands.

You have emoted: Gabriella looks up at Maylea.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "I have been remiss in neglecting this for so long. You have suffered for Me by Nocht's ire, and been steadfast and true for all the long years of My slumber. You are as dear to Me as any in creation, and I am blessed to have your faith."

You blink.

You blush furiously.

Radalise giggles happily.

Tears flow freely from your eyes as Maylea, Bloom of Serenity appoints you to Quillifur.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "Watch over My temple and the library,

and know that you have My unending thanks and affection."

Looking a bit astonished, you say, "Th-thank you, my Lady."

Radalise smiles softly.

Radalise beams broadly at you.

You sway back and forth.

You flap your arms madly.

You hug Maylea compassionately.

Maylea smiles softly.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity embraces you with great warmth and affection.

Radalise claps her hands together merrily.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "Long overdue, I believe."

You blush furiously.

You say to Maylea, "The Temple and the Library, you say?"

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Radalise, "In some ways you remind Me of Gabriella."

Eyes wide, Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm says, "That's a big compliment..."

You blink.

You say, "It is?"

You peer at Radalise unscrupulously.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Of course it is!"

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm nods emphatically at you.

You sway back and forth.

You say, "Well."

You laughingly say, "I am flattered, to say the least."

Maylea's eyes sparkle with amusement.

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm exclaims to you, "You should be!"

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm exclaims to you, "You should be happy and stuff too! What a great month you've had! Married -and- given care of the Temple and the Library!"

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I do believe you knew what was in the bowl when you handed it to Nocht?"

You say, "I-I did, of course! I saw and helped make the brew."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "Such courage!"

Radalise nods her head emphatically.

Blushing, you say, "I h-handed Him a b-bowl, my Lady."

Maylea gives you a friendly squeeze.

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm says, "Knowing it would poison Him."

Radalise nods her head sagely.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Such courage."

Radalise nods her head in agreement.

You have emoted: Gabriella ducks her head.

Maylea purses Her lips pensively, gazing off into the distance as She carefully gathers Her thoughts.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I must admit a small measure of unhappiness with you, however."

You blink.

You have emoted: Gabriella looks up at Maylea nervously. "What did I do, my Lady?"

With a radiant smile, Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "I would have loved to perform your ceremony."

You blink.

You blush furiously.

"I'm sorry!" you say with a blush.

You say, "Everyone was gathered...so many of the Order, so it seemed befitting we have a cult ritual, and then a wedding."

You grin sheepishly and blush faintly.

Maylea smiles softly.

You say, "I really wished You could have been there. I know it was very last minute though."

"I'm sorry!" you say to Maylea with a blush.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I do have a wedding object. I will endeavour to make it available for future weddings."

You blink.

You say, "A' wedding object?"

You tilt your head curiously.

Radalise ponders the situation.

Maylea smiles softly.

You ponder Radalise thoughtfully, looking her up and down.

Radalise flaps her arms madly.

You giggle happily.

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm says, "I'm not even engaaaged."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I believe we are lacking in an explanation for it. Perhaps you might pen something as a first task."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Let Me find it."

Maylea steps into the aether, the air around Her blurring into a wash of colour that fades as She disappears.

The light bends in a stunning array of prismatic colours as Maylea steps from the aether.

Squeaking slightly, you say, "Pen something?"

It is now the 17th of Avechary, 319 years after the Coming of Estarra.

Maylea purses Her lips pensively, gazing off into the distance as She carefully gathers Her thoughts.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "Take notes!"

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm straightens up and tries to look more Lendren-esque.

You exclaim to Maylea, "Y-Yes ma'am!"

You flap your arms madly.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I am the person able to marry, and I have this

in My hand."

Maylea points accusingly at a plain white sash.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "So first I will drop it."

Maylea drops a plain white sash.

The sash flutters from Maylea's fingers, and then lifts on an unfelt breeze,

floating effortlessly just within reach.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Now I will name the two halves of the coupon in this manner."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "The love of Radalise and Gabriella has blossomed... and then I can go on in any manner I please. "The love of One and  Two has blossomed" is the key."

As Maylea speaks, an aura of green fills the air around her and arcs languidly through the air to include you and your beloved as well.

"Ooohhhhhhhhhh," says Radalise.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Then I can go on in any manner I wish as long as none of us leave."

You nod your head slowly in understanding.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Then I will announce."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Let us bear witness to the vow of Radalise, though either can go first."

Motes of ethereal green luminescence gather close to your beloved as though attending to her every word.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "The words must be rather precise, although the speaker can go on from t here in any way they wish... "Let us bear witness to the vow of Radalise"... as she talks or sings or whatnots."

Radalise nods her head emphatically.

You nod your head emphatically.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "That person would then speak, and after

finishing, touch the sash."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Radalise, "You can speak or just touch it as

you please."

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm looks thoughtful and says, "I see."

With a wistful look on her face, Radalise touches a plain white sash.

The sash wends its way about your beloved's wrist, and as you look joyfully into

her eyes, you see only love reflected back as she binds her life to yours.

"Ooohhhhhhhhhh," says Radalise.

You giggle happily.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Let us bear witness to the vow of Gabriella

now."

Motes of ethereal green luminescence gather close to you as though attending to every word.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "The same for you."

You blink.

You say, "Um. Alright!"

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to you, "That is, touch it."

You reach out and touch a plain white sash.

As the sash wends its way about your wrist, you look up into Radalise's eyes as

you bind your life to her.

You feel Radalise's fingers in yours as the sash tightens around your wrists and

ties itself into a loose, trailing knot around both: two lives made as one and

unfurling fresh leaves into a new world lived side by side.

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm says, "Ohhh...I wanna do this when Bey and

I get married..."

You hide a grin behind your hand.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "Now I can wax eloquent on any subject I wish."

Radalise giggles happily.

You laughingly say, "While You have us captive."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "And at the moment I am ready to marry you, I

will push the sash."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "The priest should be ready to marry the couple

as they do this, for best effect."

Suddenly the sash bound around your wrist erupts in a multitude of vibrant

colours which refract around you as though from a prism. Sparks fill your vision

and you can see nothing but Radalise's face filled with joy and excited

bewilderment. You find yourself overwhelmed with happiness as Maylea declares

that the two of you are finally wed!

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "And it will do that."

Radalise claps her hands together merrily.

You say, "Oh my."

You say, "I do wish we could have done this at our wedding."

You clap your hands together merrily.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "The sash returns itself to its storage place."

You say, "Where is it stored, my Lady?"

You tilt your head curiously.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "The couple can kiss or whatnot. Preferably no

whatnot in front of the guests though."

Maylea places both hands over Her eyes, blocking the world from sight.

You give Radalise a peck on the cheek.

Radalise giggles happily.

Radalise gives you a peck on the cheek.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I will make it available. Let Me see what I can do."

You say, "Such eventful times."

You sway back and forth.

With a wistful look on Her face, Maylea touches the Font of Creativity.

Ripples move across the water of the font as Maylea dips Her fingers into it.

For a moment, Maylea closes Her eyes.

Maylea brushes Her fingertips gently across the Font of Creativity's cheek,

gazing softly into its eyes.

Maylea shakes Her head.

You say, "What is it, my Lady?"

You peer at the Font of Creativity unscrupulously.

Radalise chews on her lip, deep in thought.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "You can write than I will make the sash

available to priests who touch the font with their fingertips."

You blink.

You nod your head emphatically.

You say, "So if, Lendren or Aunt Aramel were to touch it?"

You say, "Those who have the ability to perform a marriage."

Moonflower Radalise, of Winter's Calm smiles and says, "I need to rest briefly.

May I be excused?"

You sense that they would have to touch it with their FINGERTIPS.
