Art Exhibition by Minister Irillia Shevat and Various Artists
Was hoping someone else would post the log. I had to rewatch and log, so I might have missed a few little things before and after. The actual painting descriptions are bolded.

The curtains part on an ornate crystal stage, heralding the start of the performance of 'Refounding Festival 353 Art Exhibition'.

As the stage curtains rise, the bright stage lights overhead suffuse the stage in a steady, warm glow, illuminating the tall, study easel of pale moonhart wood in the centre.

Minister Irillia Shevat sweeps out from behind the curtain amid eddying breezes of cool crisp air, coming to stand beside the empty easel. In her left hand, she carries a delicate crystal staff and in the right, a fine vellum scroll.

Performing a deep curtsey, Minister Irillia Shevat says, "Greetings, and welcome to the art exhibition of the Centennial Refounding Festival."

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "It is my great honour to present the following paintings for your aesthetic enjoyment and edification, as part of the Collective's centennial celebrations."

Consulting the scroll in her hand, Minister Irillia Shevat says, "As the first painting of the exhibition, I present to you, "A lone sable hart.""

Minister Irillia Shevat raises a delicate crystal staff into the air and points it toward the left side of the stage. In response, a fresh, fragrant zephyr redolent of sweet blossoms and green leaves blows across the stage, carrying an ebony-framed painting and gently setting it onto the easel.

A single emerald spotlight flickers into life, casting a verdant glow upon the painting, "A lone sable hart."

Awash in the gentle depths of acrylic pigments, this gloaming painting depicts a phantasmal hart, a regal buck in his prime peering over his shoulder behind him as he wanders alone through the dense woodland. Stepping lightly through the tenebrous bramble of a moonless forest, the lean beast carries the burden of overlarge palmate antlers. Ornamenting those bone-white protrusions are myriad black tallow candles rendered with precise brush-strokes, their wicks burning enigmatically with ephemeral blue flames; the cyan-hued incandescence plays mesmerisingly over the buck's fluid sable pelt, eerily illuminating gilt and ash in lines reminiscent of shadowed demons and carnal reverie across his strong shoulders and back. The deer's elongated features are set with russet-red eyes, their ruddy depths highlighted with inclusions of deeper ochres and merlot, and betwixt those scarlet orbs lies a single starburst of palest white, the ghostly marking laid stark upon his noble brow like an otherwordly brand. A fugitive tendril of mist coils around the right hind leg of the hart, adding a somewhat ominous note to the composition of the portrait. The painting has been framed in inky ebony wood polished to the lustre of glass, its surface traced over in delicate silvern lines of sprawling ivy and belladonna blossoms.

Minister Irillia Shevat nods her head respectfully toward the painting, before glancing down at the scroll in her hand again.

Minister Irillia Shevat circles her staff at the painting on the easel, while gesturing toward the wings with her other hand. A buffeting blast of air, swirling with white feathers, bears "A lone sable hart" away toward the wings and carefully places a second painting upon the easel.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "This next painting is entitled, "An uncomfortable meeting.""

The spotlight above changes to a rich sapphire that bathes the stage in the deep, luminous glow of twilight.

Bent forward in the foreground of this painting is a single cloud trill, her graceful figure a little larger than the average avian. A crop of coppery headfeathers springs forth from her scalp, glistening as if the paint were still damp, whilst two grand wings are settled at her sides - the three white bands brushing across the creamy brown plumage just visible. Behind her rectangular spectacles, the trill's sky-blue eyes are narrowed slightly as she examines the other inhabitants of the portrait: a small clutch of baby pigeons, feathers fluffed up with self-importance. The clutch of vermin perch clustered atop a shining platinum pedestal, their mouths agape as if seeking food or squeaking out objections. An unintelligible exchange seems to be occurring between the demigoddess and her visitors; one in which neither seems to be terribly comfortable. An oil painting crafted from delicately thin brush strokes, this painting displays the promising work of an up-and-coming artist. Though not without fault, it nonetheless demonstrates a skilled attention to detail and an eerily lifelike rendering of its subjects.

Minister Irillia Shevat smiles and says, "According to the artist, this painting is inspired, apologetically, by the tales spun by fellow Collectivists about a certain Avatar of the Architect and her encounters with the avians that so often frequent the city."

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "The artist regrets that it was composed without having personally seen the subject's profile. Instead, the likeness was taken from an excellently crafted statue of her within the city."

Minister Irillia Shevat smiles faintly with amusement, before ushering in another flow of wind to bear away the painting and carry a new one onstage upon the easel.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "The next painting bears the title, "Their final joining.""

The stage glows with blushing radiance as the spotlight above changes to a gentle rose quartz, akin to the roseate hues of clouds at sunrise.

Wrought with thin watercolours that seem almost translucent, this painting is delicate in its intricacy. Resplendent in the foreground are two entwined hands; one feathered and graceful in its willowy slenderness, the other made of harshly angled yet nonetheless precious crystal. A warm glow suffuses the lucidian hand, the softly suffusing light of its love rippling off the trill's elegant plumage. Though the joining of the hands is the clear focus of this image, behind their v-shaped meeting a beautiful sky can be seen. A shimmering azure striated with wisps of white cloud, it captures a moment of tranquillity - though the two hands grasp at one another with desperation and a wistful longing, the bittersweet beauty of which is the overriding emotion captured within the brushstrokes.

Glancing down at a vellum scroll, Minister Irillia Shevat says, "In the words of the artist, this painting endeavours to capture the desperately painful moment between Lord Xyl and Lady Trillillial when They decided at length to splinter Themselves."

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "The artist would have not only Their Sacrifice remembered, but the deep and undying love between the two of Them that was the focus of Their lives from start to end - and beyond. It ought to be inscribed with 'Are you ready, beloved?' - the Lady's final words to her crystalline heart."

Minister Irillia Shevat involuntarily brushes a tear from the corner of her eye, before gesturing with a delicate crystal staff again. A warm zephyr redolent of exotic teas wafts onto the stage, sweeping away "Their final joining" and depositing a new paining onto the easel.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "Next, I present to you the painting, "A Collective Waltz.""

The spotlight above flickers to a regal amethyst hue, imbuing the stage and its occupants with a lambent violet glow.

Vibrant colours and lush, fluid brushwork weave together in a sumptuous rococo style across this canvas, coalescing into the scene of a splendid Hallifaxian ball graced with dozens of distinguished guests. Tall windows encircle the ballroom, looking outward onto a vast, starry night sky above the clouds, while jewelled chandeliers suffuse the high-ceilinged chamber with a rich, prismatic glow. Every surface, from the crystalline walls and marble floor to the guests' silken gowns and tailored suits, glistens and twinkles in the flickering light, creating an impression of lively brilliance. A number of tables decorated with lavish flower arrangements and platters of delicacies are scattered along the edges of the ballroom, where several guests gather to enjoy delectable pastries and tea in leisure. In the centre of the ballroom, several pairs of dancers whirl across the floor in a stately waltz, their hands linked and their gazes uplifted. Even in the immobile medium of paint, a sense of movement and grace is conveyed through the flowing sweep of the ladies' gowns, the tilt of the dancers' heads, the widely angled stances of the gentlemen, and the gentle blurring of each couple's outline as they glide across the ballroom. Though the dancing couples may appear randomly spaced at first, the ornate swirls and curves of the geometric mandala inlaid upon the dance floor encompass and unite the dancers into a pattern larger and grander than each individual couple. From there, it becomes apparent that the dancers' positions and postures, the rhythmic rippling of their garments, the placement of tables around the ballroom, and even the opalescent sparkle of light from the chandeliers are all symmetrically balanced and interwoven in an echo of the mandala's concordant design. Far from being haphazard, every element in the ballroom scene has been positioned, proportioned and portrayed with purpose and order, infusing this festive painting with an air of solemn harmony.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "According to the artist, this painting was inspired in part by stories of the Grand Hallifaxian Collectivist Ball, as well as the more recent Hallifaxian tea party. It is an attempt to depict how harmony and order not only govern our lives as citizens of Hallifax, but also help create the beauty and art that inspire and enrich our minds and hearts."

Minister Irillia Shevat briefly hums a few bars from a waltz under her breath as she motions for another responsive wind. This time, a steady, even gust of wind slowly conveys the next painting to the easel and bears away its previous occupant.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "This next painting is entitled, "A Scientific Inquiry.""

Scintillating white light streams from overhead as the spotlight shifts to a pristine, diamond clarity that eliminates all but the deepest shadows from view.

Clad in an immaculate white lab coat with a breast pocket lined with pens and styluses, a tall, broad-shouldered dracnari covered in deep emerald-green scales stands in the centre of an austere crystalline laboratory arrayed with gemstone desks, workbenches, and cabinets. Though tidy and organised, many of the jewel-wrought surfaces are marred with scratches, scuffs, and even scorch marks from past experiments gone awry. Suspicious reddish smudges stain the lights overhead, tingeing their otherwise steady, clear illumination with a faintly lurid cast. Dominating the table in front of the dracnari, a convoluted contraption of blown glass and gleaming metal surges with glowing fluids, noxious-looking gases, and even miniature storm-clouds travelling through its spiralling tubes, hair-fine piping, pear-shaped flasks, hourglass-shaped bottles, globular reservoirs, and other exotically moulded vessels amid a veritable labyrinth of valves, funnels, seesaws, lodestones, prisms, chronometers, and tiny propellers. On one end of the contraption, a miniature conflagration has just shattered the bell jar meant to contain it, the raging flames bursting upward and outward in a blaze of vivid saffron and crimson. Shards of curved glass fly in every direction, along with a swirl of fluttering, blackened feathers. Impassively studying the blast from above, the dracnari wears only the faintest hint of a satisfied smirk as he takes notes upon a slim crystal tablet. Tucked into a far corner of the laboratory, several wide-eyed pigeons are crammed into a small cage, their wings beating frantically at the bars as they too contemplate the explosive experiment.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "In the artist's words, this painting represents both the perils and power of scientific discovery, one of the great pillars that upholds the Collective."

Minister Irillia Shevat raises her arms toward the wings, summoning a mild, warm breeze redolent with warm sunlight. The breeze gently sets a new painting upon the easel and sweeps away carrying the previous painting out of sight.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "Next, may I present the painting, "An unequal introduction.""

The spotlight overhead shifts into a warm golden glow, reminiscent of sunshine streaming through an aurulent beryl gemstone.

The images within it blurred and ever so slightly disformed, this watercolour depicts a single figure. Of an unwieldy height, this trill holds herself with a grace that clearly does not come naturally to her - though her back is straight, her shoulders hunch ever so slightly in the manner of one seeking to retreat from focus. Her face, though not picked out in great detail by the indistinct watercolours, is alight with interest as she gazes at the room about her. A jeweller's workbench lies before her, dozens of gems piled up neatly upon it, a small hammer seemingly forgotten in her hand as something else takes her attention. Though alone in the room, she is surrounded by an incandescent series of lights in the air that almost seem joyous in their amusement. Unlike the almost monochromatic trill herself, the enigmatic glow has been depicted in all the colours of the rainbow. A beautiful warmth seems to suffuse the lights, the focus and attention paid to them lending their otherwise incidental forms a prized place as the focus of the image.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "The artist requested that I present this painting, as well as the next, without any explanation, as she had no desire to colour the viewer's interpretation of the images depicted."

Minister Irillia Shevat offers an enigmatic half-smile.

Minister Irillia Shevat proceeds to wave a delicate crystal staff. The faintest breath of wind stirs the air, barely strong enough to tug at the corners of the current painting and transport it offstage, while another tenuous breath of wind carries the next painting ever so slowly and painstakingly onto the easel.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "This next painting, I believe, is entitled "The most precious gift of all.""

Pale viridescent light floods the stage as the spotlight flickers to a delicate jade-green hue, the shade of youthful leaves unfurling to herald the spring.

Two feathered trill forms stand within a beautiful glade, glistening golden light shining down as vibrant viridian branches frame them. The first woman stands with her wings wrapped delicately around the other, soft brown plumage stretched forth in a gesture of comfort, whilst the second's form is somewhat hunched; her inelegant frame almost entirely supported by the first, their hands clasped desperately together. Her large brown eyes shining with concern, the stable beacon of compassion watches the other trill closely - though the other woman's attention is clearly elsewhere. Large pools of emotion, unparalleled detail has been paid to her viridian eyes as they gaze out at nothing. A deep and pervading love shines within them, tinged by a sense of stolen breath so deep it almost gleams with fear. Depicted in oil paints, the painting has been glossed with a varnish that makes the colours glisten as if still wet - capturing the overwhelmed trill's emotions as if they were alive before the viewer.

Minister Irillia Shevat circles her hands together, and a whirling cyclone sweeps across the stage, engulfing the painting into its spinning winds and spewing out another upon the easel.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "Next, for your viewing pleasure, I give you, "The audacity of hope.""

Rich, sanguine light fills your vision and illuminates the painting upon the easel as the spotlight above shifts to a deep ruby hue.

Sweeping brushstrokes create a brightly coloured painting depicting the Transcendental Aviary in Hallifax. Flowers of all shapes and sizes dot the ground, while birds flit about, landing on carefully placed trees. Central to the painting is a young trill woman in the prime of her life; beautiful beyond compare, her azure eyes are wide in shockas she listens to a young trill on his knees in front of her. The maiden is light of skin, with creamy ringlets cascading down her back between her wings, and a delicate visage worthy of shrines and temples. In stark contrast, the trill youth is plain of feature, his face soft and unprepossessing in every way possible. His hands are stained, yet he dares to grasp her manicured hands, his eyes meeting hers as if begging her to accept his proposal.

Minister Irillia Shevat smiles briefly toward the painting, before tapping the butt of her staff sharply on the ground. A sweetly perfumed wind dances across the stage, whisking the painting off the easel and replacing it with another.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "And next, I present the painting, "Hallifax at Dawn.""

Milky, nacreous light spills across the stage as the spotlight above shines upon the easel with opaline brightness.

The architectural symphony that is the city of Hallifax comes alive in an auroral aubade within the depths of this oil painting of the sunrise, as darkness retreats from the heavens and a shining dawn breaks in the east. Just peeking over the gilt-edged horizon, the rising sun suffuses the centre of the canvas in a blaze of golden splendour. Opalescent shades of amber, coral and pearl bathe the sky in splashes of sunlit colour, chasing away the ebon shadows of night. The same blushing glow that illuminates the heavens also radiates outward upon Hallifax, turning its crystalline spires and marble platforms to a soft rose that deepens into a rich magenta hue. Wreathed in dreamy, windswept clouds tinted a misty lavender edged in delicate, flowing dawn-silver brushstrokes, the aerial city sparkles with prismatic radiance in the morning light. Echoing and complementing each other in a vast and complex harmony, the airy towers and arching bridges soar skyward as though aspiring to embrace the beauty of the sunrise. High above the city's tallest turret, a single dazzlingly white falcon circles upward in a spiralling gyre on broad, outspread wings, his feathers tinged with both the roseate brightness of the city below and the luminous radiance of the sunrise above.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "Regarding this painting, the artist wishes to express the sentiment that, while we Hallifaxians may be fortunate enough to enjoy this magnificent sight every morning, it is still worthy to be celebrated in art."

Minister Irillia Shevat clicks her heels together sharply. In response, fluffy white clouds flow in from the wings holding one painting aloft, which they gently place upon the easel, and flow out bearing the other painting away.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "It is my honour to present the next painting, "Lessons in Etiquette.""

The spotlight above casts a vibrant saffron glow as it flickers to a warm citrine.

Framed in burnished, gold-chased mahogany, this painting features two figures in the midst of instruction: a strict governess and her earnest pupil. Behind their slender silhouettes, capacious bookshelves have been carved into walls of deep citrine hue, filled endlessly with tomes on social propriety and decorum. A young trill, clad in a tea-length dress of flaxen-gold and grass-green, precariously balances a stack of three slender books upon her head; in complementary heeled slippers, she appears to cautiously tread a shimmering silver line traced upon the pristine marble floor. Her expression uncertain though intensely focused, she gazes upward at her literary burden as though fearful of the leather-bound books falling to the ground. Though her arms remain stiffly at her sides, her sleek, sienna-brown wings are spread slightly to distribute her centre of gravity; the feathers on her head, rendered in matching pigments, fall in wayward plumes across her avian features and partially obscure her hazel gaze, mussed by the shifting of the instructional texts upon her head. To the side, a trill woman of regal bearing keeps vigil over her pupil's steady progress, her chin lifted haughtily in scrupulous evaluation. Her deep blue eyes are set above high-swept cheekbones and a firm mouth, lips parted in the midst of advice. Lustrous black satin attires her tall, willowy frame, whilst a tightly-kept chignon of white feathers crowns her head, both lending an air of austerity to her visage. One hand gracefully rests upon a slender walking cane, decorated at its crest with a prismatic falcon of opal, whereas in the other, she holds aloft a textbook diagram of a trill with proper posture. Accented with silvered strokes of pale grey, stately white wings have been primly folded behind her, their pale feathers neatly preened, not a single plume out of place.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "In the words of the artist, this painting illustrates the Dame Dioyne Fairquillion, former governess of Talthos, in the midst of instructing one of her pupils. Cultivated in the nuances of social decorum and propriety, Dame Fairquillion passes on her teachings to those willing to learn."

Minister Irillia Shevat chuckles briefly at the image in the painting, before raising her staff and pointing it eastward. A cool, airy zephyr swiftly rushes across the stage, replacing the painting with another with startling alacrity.

Consulting the vellum scroll in her hand, Minister Irillia Shevat says, "Next, for your viewing pleasure: "The Design.""

As the spotlight above flickers and then settles into garnet, a dusky burgundy light descends upon the stage to illuminate the painting upon the easel with a lurid glow.

A lady garbed in white reclines casually to the right with her back to the viewer. Her form is outlined not in shadow but in gold, shimmering and ill-defined. A radiant light emanates from her, bleeding out into the primary colours. The stream of light folds into itself, creating ever more varieties of hue and shade. The torrent of light streams west, but suddenly turns away, flooding the East of the painting in colour. Out of the sharp twist of light grows dark, twisting forms. Necks, claws, and eyes spawn out of themselves, creating fractal bodies that make it difficult to distinguish one figure from the next. This teeming drove blots out any colour it can reach. Two unseemly large hands reach from out of view cutting off the path of growth . Their form is sharp and they lack even a trace of colour. They are black as the void with only thin beams of white light revealing their true form. Within their grasp is a being neither male nor female with a blank expression. The being's pose is stretched out as if on display and inscribed into both circle and square. Past the stark hands, the lady's colours flow to the right. The lady herself reaches out a single finger, and from it comes a multitude of figures. In clear contrast to the left, each figure is distinct. No two figures share the same combination of colours, mood, or directional facing. Despite this variety in mood, a clear defiance shines through each and every face.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "According to the artist, this painting is a tribute to the ideals of Lady Isune, the Aesthete."

Minister Irillia Shevat taps a delicate crystal staff peremptorily against the floor. A harsh blast of arid wind, dusty churns along the stage in response, whirling the current painting away and dropping another in its place.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "The next painting is entitled, "Structure against Time.""

The shadows appear to deepen and intensify along the stage, creating an ominous impression as thespotlight above darkens to onyx.

The sun rests on the horizon. The sky is cloudless, evenly transitioning from crimson red to starless night. From background to foreground stretches a blue-white metallic net. Each link is identically hexagonal, radiating electricity. The net holds back a single large mass, stretching outside of view. Opposite of the mass, the net layers upon itself over and over, forming a grand cathedral suspended over a sandy plain. On this plain lie only thin mounds of sand. One after another, they litter the basin stretching to the horizon.

With a faint smile, Minister Irillia Shevat says, "And this painting, according to the artist, is a tribute to the ideals of Lord Zvoltz, the Architect."

Minister Irillia Shevat raises her right hand skyward, the vellum scroll fluttering. Motes of twinkling sunlight scatter from her fingertips and swirl toward the painting, covering it momentarily in radiance and then dissipating, revealing another painting in its place.

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "And for our final painting, I am pleased to present to you, "Paradise.""

Evocative of the sky and sea, clear blue-green light streams down from the single spotlight above the stage, which has shifted to a bright aquamarine.

Bordered by elegant framing in silver-spun crystal and birch wood, this portrait illustrates a vast crystalline haven, composed of gracefully arching gemstone walls and fluted, lambent pillars. Light shines down from the open dome above, filtering through to the translucent floors in faint, prismatic skeins of colour. Amidst these jewel-wrought works of architecture, a sapphirine fountain spouts delicate arcs of water that glitter rapturously, stray droplets entangled within the strands of light. Standing demurely before the lively font, a slender trill woman holds a bouquet of flowers in her hands, gazing outwards from the scene. Her fair countenance, lovely and serene, is beset with dark green eyes above a sharp nose and lips of pale rose. A crest of raven feathers has been swept away from her features, gathered and left to fall in front of one shoulder, the glistening mass adorned with a collection of silvery threads strung with white pearls and glass bells. Akin to a mantle of dark feathers, her wings are spread low and wide, swept elegantly around the full, cascading skirts of her emerald gown. From her hands spills a waterfall-like bouquet of various blossoms: yellow-crowned birds of paradise, diaphanous silvery skyblooms, lacy cloud-wreathed blossoms, gilded amethyst irises, and roses ablaze with the hues of sunset and dawn.

Minister Irillia Shevat smiles softly at the painting, before gesturing with her staff toward the wings. A final draft of wind gusts across the stage, gently lifting the canvas from the easel and conducting it away.

The spotlight above returns to a bright, steady glow, shining upon the empty easel and the bare stage with effulgent warmth.

With a graceful wave of her hand, Minister Irillia Shevat says, "And that concludes the art exhibition of the Centennial Festival of the Year 353 CE. I hope that you have enjoyed viewing the paintings created by our talented citizens."

Minister Irillia Shevat says, "If you are interested in bidding one or more of these paintings, I advise you to consult Project Auction for pertinent information and protocols. If you have any questions, please feel free to make inquiries to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs."

Performing a respectful curtsey, Minister Irillia Shevat says, "Thank you for attending. May fair winds and clear skies brighten your journeys."

The curtains draw to a close on an ornate crystal stage, signaling the conclusion of the performance of 'Refounding Festival 353 Art Exhibition'.

I would never have thought to pre-program all of this stuff at the stage. What a great idea! When next I plan a big celebration, I will certainly keep this in mind.
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

Daraius said: You gotta risk it for the biscuit.

Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.

Festival Vengeance, Game 1: In which I demonstrate how not to play.

(Hallifax): Zyphora says, "The quiz has ended! Will those citizens interested in the Centennial Refounding Festival's game of Vengeance come to the preparation room?"

You see the following people here:
Tisianna, Pejat, Rathan, Ioni, Vivet, Maerad, Lyethal, Tavon, Zyphora, Ushaara

You are the Temporal Primus, able to keep close watch on one person during the westwind to see whether anyone interacts with them.

As the Taint Wars rage ceaselessly, the conflict between Hallifax and Gaudiguch has reached a critical point. The Board of Directors has gathered before the Matrix upon the Elemental Plane of Air with the express intent of initiating Operation Crucible and bringing the western city to its knees, deliberating during the time of the eastwind and dispersing to patrol the borders of the plane during the westwind. Unbeknownst to them until now, however, the Illuminati have placed agents within the Board of Directors itself who now work against the Hallifaxian bureaucrats, quietly killing them one by one. This must not stand! Purge the Illuminati from within the Board or all is surely lost!

    It is now westwind zero.

You pause for a moment in contemplation as you weigh the options of whom to watch while the wind blows westward.

    The following people are alive:
     o Tavek (M) (Temporal Primus)
     o Tulemon (M)
     o Exoe (F)
     o Lilemae (F)
     o Cririk (M)
     o Ilron (M)
     o Solfin (F)
     o Lileza (F)
     o Rebak (M)
     o Neloae (M)

    The following roles remain:
      3x Populace  - director
      3x Assassin  - Illuminatus
1x Detective - Minister of Information
1x Protector - Archmage of the Aeromancers
      1x Blocker   - Comptroller General

You are playing Professor Tavek Eepex (male), and have the role: Temporal Primus.
o You can follow one person during the westwind phase and see who targets them.
       VENGEANCE WATCH <target>
o You win when only members of your team remain.

You gaze thoughtfully toward Cririk's patrol sector, examining the myriad timelines which crisscross through the air, alert for any disturbances by an outside party.

It is now halfway through westwind zero.

You feel that westwind zero will end imminently.

As you reconvene at the Crystal Matrix, the Deputy Commissar sombrely announces the assassination of Tulemon, a notable Board member, at the hands of an Illuminatus.
Zyphora leaves to the ether, emanating an aura of immense power.
    Zyphora has left the area.

    It is now eastwind one.

The clouds twirl about sedately as the wind shifts back to the east once more. You complete your patrol and approach the Crystal Matrix, ready for further deliberation.

    The following people are alive:
     o Tavek (M) (Temporal Primus)
     o Exoe (F)
     o Lilemae (F)
     o Cririk (M)
     o Ilron (M)
     o Solfin (F)
     o Lileza (F)
     o Rebak (M)
     o Neloae (M)

     Majority: 5 votes.

    The following people are dead:
o Zyphora (as Tulemon (M)) (director)

    The following roles remain:
      2x Populace  - director
      3x Assassin  - Illuminatus
1x Detective - Minister of Information
1x Protector - Archmage of the Aeromancers
      1x Blocker   - Comptroller General

<< Paranoid Ushaara Thought 1: Cririk survived the first west wind? ILLUMINATUS! >>

Using his tongue and the roof of his mouth, Cririk makes a quiet clicking noise.

Lilemae creases her brow in a frown.

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "How horrid.."

    Neloae mutters discontentedly.

    Ilron gives a horrified gasp.

You say, "Indeed, and that west wind seemed like it would never end."

Neloae nods his head at you, showing his acceptance.

With a sigh, Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Alas, Wind Rider Clarramore. Will someone note the time of death, please."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "He uh... served us well. I assume someone has already filed the appropriate paperwork?"

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Westwind is the Illuminati's playground."

Solfin nods her head at Neloae.

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "I believe we have not properly come to order."

Cririk nods his head at Lileza.

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Order is, in these times especially, most paramount. Let us be about it. Has anyone anything to report?"

Cririk tilts his head and listens intently.

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Besides the untimely death of Tulemon, and the failure to enact Operation Crucible, no. I submit we need to find the assassins responsible eminently."

You frown and say, "The first board meeting is always a difficult one."

    Exoe nods her head emphatically.

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "To act quickly is to act illogically."

Colonel Solfin Fairquillion, of the Censorship Directorate says, "I saw nothing amiss during my patrol of the Plane of Air."

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "Without evidence to work on."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "I would like to submit a request that our next meeting be catered."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "We need a plan."

    Lileza ponders the situation.

Chairman Cririk Adom says to Neloae, "That does, I hope, go without saying. Nonetheless, let it be noted." Glancing around, he adds, "Do we have a scribe?"

Lilemae sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Neloae raises an eyebrow at Lilemae.

It is now halfway through eastwind one.

You ask, "We should decide then, will we risk an execution order or not?"

Solfin creases her brow in a frown.

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to Lilemae, "It is a bit early to decide nothing, especially with little to no discussion, is it not?"

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "I will not condemn anyone to death, without the proper evidence."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "I'm afraid I do not see sufficient evidence to warrant such an order."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "I have no suspicions to act on as of yet."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Should we just sit and judge no evidence found until we're picked off one by one?"

    Neloae gives a pained sigh.
    Neloae shrugs helplessly.

Neloae sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says to Neloae, "Can you choose one of us to die?"

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I second that there is insufficient evidence at this time. We should at least see if the next wind brings us more information. The motion carries?"

Cririk sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Lileza sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

The following votes have been made:
f lilemae has voted for: nobody
m neloae has voted for: nobody
m cririk has voted for: nobody
f lileza has voted for: nobody

    You say, "Agreed."

Rebak sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

At the end of the eastwind, the commissars present return to the Prime Material through the Matrix; no-one has been executed.

    It is now westwind one.

As the wind shifts to the west once more, the Board of Directors disperses in all directions, proceeding to their patrol sectors for the evening.
You pause for a moment in contemplation as you weigh the options of whom to watch while the wind blows westward.

You gaze thoughtfully toward Neloae's patrol sector, examining the myriad timelines which crisscross through the air, alert for any disturbances by an outside party.

It is now halfway through westwind one.

You note that Lilemae was present in Neloae's patrol sector last westwind.

As you reconvene at the Crystal Matrix, the Deputy Commissar sombrely announces the assassination of Solfin, Minister of Information, at the hands of an Illuminatus.
Ioni, riding a dark ruby thunderbird, leaves to the ether, emanating an aura of immense power.
Spreading her broad, translucent wings, a dark ruby thunderbird soars off to the ether.
    Ioni has left the area.

    It is now eastwind two.

The clouds twirl about sedately as the wind shifts back to the east once more. You complete your patrol and approach the Crystal Matrix, ready for further deliberation.

    The following people are alive:

     o Cririk (M)
     o Ilron (M)
     o Lileza (F)

     o Neloae (M)

     Majority: 5 votes.

    The following people are dead:
o Zyphora (as Tulemon (M)) (director)
o Ioni (as Solfin (F)) (Minister of Information)

    The following roles remain:
      2x Populace  - director
      3x Assassin  - Illuminatus
1x Protector - Archmage of the Aeromancers
      1x Blocker   - Comptroller General

    Cririk snaps his fingers.

Rebak creases his brow in a frown.

Sublime Opus Ilron Silverplume frowns and says, "Poor Solfin."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "Most untimely."

    Lilemae sniffles softly.

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "Especially at a time when information is so crucial."

Neloae nods his head in agreement.
    Lilemae nods her head emphatically.
    Exoe nods her head emphatically.

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I submit that we rely now upon the skill of the Temporal Primus to sniff out the information required."

Cririk purses his lips pensively, gazing off into the distance as he carefully gathers his thoughts.

You say, "The illuminati are proving to be most cunning."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "Seconded."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Well, we need a report from the Temporal Primus then. Or at least some sort of information to act on. Myself, I wish I could help."

    Neloae mutters discontentedly.
    Cririk nods his head emphatically.

<< Paranoid Ushaara Thought 2: Neloae is acting in concert with Cririk? ILLUMINATUS!! >>

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "Though, if there is nothing useful to report, then silence is best."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to Lileza, "I say again, and get picked off one by one?"

Chairman Cririk Adom frowns and says, "With the Archmage still amongst us, it might be prudent for the Primus to reveal any information they have. However as the Sky Runner says, if there is none - better that they remain safe."

    Neloae gives a pained sigh.
    Neloae shrugs helplessly.
Neloae nods his head at Cririk.

You say, "I would urge the Primus to maintain their silence, unless they have definitive information to act on."

    Rebak ponders the situation.

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says to Neloae, "If the Primus endangers themselves for no reason, then that isn't useful either."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "Indeed, especially while there are many potential persons of import remaining."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Not necessarily. The Primus should reveal themselves so we can protect them. No sense in getting picked off randomly."

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "I agree with Lileza, I will admit however that I am troubled by our Junior Sergeants...wish to kill people without following logical procedure."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "Hmm."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "The Junior Sergeant may raise a valid point with regard to the Archmage's usefulness. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this motion?"

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says to Cririk, "A chaotic gamble I admit. It would work but if we were to lose the protector, the watcher would be sure to follow..."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to Lilemae, "I do not wish to kill people without cause. I also do not wish to fail through inaction."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "I believe that the Archmage still has many targets needing his protection."

Chairman Cririk Adom looks thoughtful and says to Lilemae, "The Archmage is in just as much danger whether the Primus is revealed or not, Provost."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to Lilemae, "The Archmage need not reveal themselves. And who would need more protection than the Primus at this point?"

Senior Chronologist Exoe zi'Prouep says, "Inaction is sure to lead to failure."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "There is a probability it will fail, but there is also a probability that it will preserve the Primus, with certainty, for at least one more wind."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to Rebak, "Who do you think needs more protection than the Primus?"

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "Given our choices, I cannot fault the logic behind that."

<< Paranoid Ushaara acts purely on the grounds that Cririk surviving two westwinds -must- mean he's an Illuminatus >>

You say to Cririk, "I have come to the opinion that you no longer act in the best interest of the Board. I hereby submit that you recuse yourself."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "I no longer find the motion objectionable."

You glance dispassionately at Cririk, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

    Cririk blinks.
    Rebak ponders the situation.
    Neloae blinks.

Chairman Cririk Adom says to you, "I beg your pardon, Prrofessor?"

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "Well that was... sudden."

Neloae nods his head at Rebak, showing his acceptance.

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Too sudden."

Neloae glances dispassionately at you, ticking your name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

<< Paranoid Ushaara Thought 3: Ah hah! Neloae is protecting Cririk, suspicions confirmed! >>

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says to you, "Do you have...evidence? That is a severe acusation."

Sublime Opus Ilron Silverplume says, "Oh my."

Chairman Cririk Adom says to you, "I am loathe to retaliate in a fashion unbecoming of me, nonetheless...your rashness is of concern."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says to Neloae, "And to respond, it seems our good Chairman may need protection."

    Cririk frowns at you.

You say, "Your attempt to manipulate the Primus to come forward and then hedging it when the support was not forthcoming."

You say, "It is a poor deception."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I am attempting, as is my duty, to chair this meeting. If you have interpreted it otherwise, well. I suppose I am at the mercy of the rest of the board."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to you, "I disagree with your assessment. In fact, I question your motives of trying to lynch the Chairman."

You say to Neloae, "And when I am proved to be innocent, you have just confirmed yourself to be a second illuminatus."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I will say of course that to order my execution would be to the detriment of the Collective. All in my position would say that regardless of their guilt or otherwise, nonetheless, it ought to be noted."

Rebak creases his brow in a frown.

Deep in thought, Lileza leans her cheek on her hand.

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says to you, "I do not think you are allowing yourself to consider the entire logic of it all. Whether or not you mean ill will though is another decision entirely."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says to you, "I'm afraid that that conclusion is non-sequitur."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to you, "If you say so. I submit I've been the most logical amongst us. But if you wish to jump to conclusions, be my guest."

You say, "If it takes my death to prove my assertion true, I am willing."

You feel that eastwind two will end imminently.

Chairman Cririk Adom says to Lilemae, "In light of my position as the subject of this investigation, I cede the duty of chairing this board to you, Provost. It is only fitting."

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "Our wind's weaken, we must reach a decision."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to you, "One does not follow the other. Your death does not prove any assertation."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong asks, "Are we ready for a decision?"

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "If you believe in killing Neloae, do so now."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "I have made my decision, as you could have seen."

At the end of the eastwind, the commissars present return to the Prime Material through the Matrix; no-one has been executed.

    It is now westwind two.

As the wind shifts to the west once more, the Board of Directors disperses in all directions, proceeding to their patrol sectors for the evening.

With a heavy snort, a lank-haired war goat trots etherwards.

    Neloae gives a pained sigh.

Cririk's eyes raise to the heavens as a look of hope flashes across his face.

Rebak creases his brow in a frown.

Sublime Opus Ilron Silverplume frowns and says, "Another."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "We dwindle in numbers daily."

    Lilemae nods her head emphatically.

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong says, "The situation may be untenable soon."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "Apparently the Illuminati had better intelligence than our own."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "Or blind luck, as seems to be the case more often."

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "We do kill ourselves through inaction."

Chairman Cririk Adom says to you, "Is it your intention to pursue your previous motion, Professor? I would know now, so that it can be dealt with immediately."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to Lilemae, "As I have said from the start."

    Rebak ponders the situation.

You say, "Well I stand by my assertion, yes. I do not believe our best interests are served with you as Chairman."

You glance dispassionately at Cririk, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "As to not let our wind run out. Cririk, make your case to not be executed. You can waive the right if you so wish."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to you, "Why not? Do you believe he is Illuminati in disguise? I see nothing that says he has tried to undermine us. I stand by my assertation that only an Agent of the Illuminati would sow discord as you have."

Sky Runner Lileza Stormsong asks, "I believe authority has been vested in Lilemae in the meantime?"

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "There are intermediate levels of command between Chairman and the executed, you know."

Cririk nods his head at Lilemae.

You say, "With the few we have left, I believe it is time to come forward then."

You say, "I am the Primus."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "And why did you not come forward yesterday?"

    Rebak blinks.

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "Do we have any who contest such?"

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says to you, "And you say that lacking an archmage to protect you."

    Rebak gives a pained sigh.
Neloae nods his head at Rebak, showing his acceptance.

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "In any case, what news have you to report?"

Clearing his throat, Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Thank you, Provost. I will endeavour to be brief. I refer you first of all to my previous remarks. I have served the Collective for all of my life, and I shall continue to do so even in my death, should such occur. I am, in this, but one of the Board - as I have ever been. I regret that I can offer little else."

You say to Neloae, "Because as the sole person with the potential to learn information, revealing myself would have left me open to assassination last westwind."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "I submit we shelve the question of execution on the Chairman, and discuss the illogical actions of the supposed Primus."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says to you, "Not so. The Archmage was still alive and could have protected you."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "Yet, that threat is even greater this wind."

You say, "I watched Rebak last west wind, he was being protected by Exoe."

Rebak whimpers like a wounded puppy.

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Can Exoe confirm that?"

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "Enough, we do not have time to do this."

Rebak Manchova, Aeronaut Third Echelon says, "I'm afraid the archmage is no longer with us."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "The Archmage is dead, Junior Sergeant. He can confirm little."

It is now halfway through eastwind three.

You say, "As to whether that means Rebak is innocent, I cannot say, but I am confident that Cririk and Neloae are illuminatus."

    Rebak ponders the situation.
    Cririk gives a pained sigh.
    Neloae mutters discontentedly.

You say, "I also know Lilemae to be a loyal board member."

You say, "Based on my observations during the first westwind."

Provost Lilemae Goldfeather says, "Only one way to find out."

Chairman Cririk Adom says to you, "Professor, I fear you must recheck your calculations. There is in them an error. I cannot speak for the Junior Sergeant, but I, at least, am all that I appear to be."

Junior Sergeant Neloae Hill says, "Enough of this disinformation. If you believe me to be a member of the Illuminati, execute me. I still say Professor Tavek has acted illogically the entire time."

Lilemae glances dispassionately at Neloae, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Neloae glances dispassionately at you, ticking your name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

You glance dispassionately at Neloae, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Chairman Cririk Adom says to you, "As an expression of my goodwill, I will side with you in this motion."

Cririk glances dispassionately at Neloae, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Lileza glances dispassionately at Neloae, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Having received sufficient requisitions, the Commissar turns and marches sharply to Neloae, raising his halberd. With a flash of steel and a brief spray of blood, the deed is quickly and efficiently carried out as Neloae crumples lifelessly to the floor. The Commissar removes a recording disc from his pocket and examines it carefully, announcing that Neloae was an innocent Board member.
    Tavon has left the area.

<< Dawning realisation hits Paranoid Ushaara: FFFFFUUUUUUU... >>

    It is now westwind three.

As another Board member meets their end, you realise that the Illuminati have grown too quickly in number to overcome. Operation Crucible will never be completed, and you've a sneaking suspicion that you may not make it off the Plane of Air alive. You have failed.

Temporal Chamber of Historical Review, Vengeance Edition.
A deep, ominous song hangs heavy in the air, warning of the presence of a war shrine of Isune nearby. Wheezing heavily, a lank-haired, irritable war goat with curving rainbow horns waits here. High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris is here, surrounded by a flurry of white feathers caught in a perfumed breeze. She wields a delicate crystal staff in her right hand. Dedicant Rathan Zayah Aspirant of the White Hart stands here, enrobed in an array of swirling, autumnal leaves. He wields a mystic cudgel in his left hand and a glowing powerstone in his right. Temporal Commissar Kalas Tavon, Civil Servant is here, shrouded. He wields a wicked executioner's katana with both hands. Pejat is riding on a lank-haired war goat with curving rainbow horns. He wields a worn lute in his left hand. Zephyr Tisianna Windwhisper is here. Primus Vivet Pavok is here. She wields an onyx domothean scalpel in her left hand. Orbiting around her head are several spinning crystals.
You see a single exit leading out.

The disguised Illuminati have eradicated the Board of Directors and foiled Operation Crucible in the Time of the Taint Wars.

The last vengeance game ended thusly:
     Survivors:

o Lyethal (as Lilemae (F)) (Comptroller General)
o Maerad (as Cririk (M)) (director)
o Tisianna (as Ilron (M)) (Illuminatus) (winner!)
o Vivet (as Lileza (F)) (Illuminatus) (winner!)

o Tavon (as Neloae (M)) (director)

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris says, "Good job!"

Pejat utters a deep, rumbling laugh.

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris says to Tisianna, "Well done, my dear."

You say to Tavon, "You're too suspicious."

Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf says to you, "You were a horrid primus."

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris smiles impishly and says, "How about another game, citizens?"

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "I got lucky with thinking the quiet board members were important."

Tisianna gives Zyphora a peck on the cheek.

You laughingly say to Maerad, "So are you!"

Pejat says, "I have no idea what just happened. I am guessing the game just finished."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "And insisting we kill them."

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper smiles and says to you, "Oh! I thought it might be you interrogating me quite so furiously, Grandpa."

Temporal Commissar Kalas Tavon, Civil Servant says to you, "Pft. Not my fault people can't follow logic."

    "Heh heh heh" Rathan chuckles.

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris laughingly says, "Please do not kill the host off so early the next time!"

You laughingly say, "Well I gifted that one to the illuminati, apologies."

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says, "I'm afraid I would be an awful Chairman. I had no control at all, it seems."

    Tisianna hugs Zyphora compassionately.

Temporal Commissar Kalas Tavon, Civil Servant says to you, "You were Tavek?"

Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf says, "We did so poorly, all of the illuminati didn't say much at all."

Zyphora gives Tisianna a friendly squeeze.

Dedicant Rathan Zayah Aspirant of the White Hart says, "I spoke."

    Rathan looks about himself suspiciously.

Zephyr Tisianna Windwhisper laughingly says, "I was doing my best to keep up with what was happening."

You say, "Next time I will suspect the quiet ones!"

    You peer at Tisianna unscrupulously.

A wry smile spreads across Vivet's face.

Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf says to you, "Horrid."

Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf says to you, "Just, Horrid."

    Festival Vengeance, Game 2

The spires of Hallifax crackle with a brief surge of temporal energy as a Vengeance game is initiated within the Time of the Taint Wars.

You see the following people here:
Lyethal, Avurekhos, Zyphora, Liwase, Pejat, Vivet, Tavon, Maerad, Ushaara

You say, "I think this will be everyone."

You ask, "All ready to start?"

    You start the vengeance game.
You are a member of the Board of Directors.

You are playing Air Marshal Croe Pavok (male), and have the role: director.
o You have no inherent ability.
o You win when only members of your team (director) remain.

As you reconvene at the Crystal Matrix, you note that all members are present and accounted for; no-one has died during the westwind.

    It is now eastwind one.

The clouds twirl about sedately as the wind shifts back to the east once more. You complete your patrol and approach the Crystal Matrix, ready for further deliberation.

    The following people are alive:
     o Shafah (F)
     o Cririk (M)

     o Ieckco (M)
     o Lileza (F)
     o Croe (M) (director)

     Majority: 5 votes.

    The following roles remain:
      3x Populace  - director
      2x Assassin  - Illuminatus
1x Detective - Minister of Information
1x Protector - Archmage of the Aeromancers
      1x Blocker   - Comptroller General

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I call this meeting to order."

You clap your hands together merrily.
The corners of Tavek's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

Master Artist Shafah Cloudwalker says, "Ah, what a fortunate westwind."

Shafah tilts her head and listens intently to Cririk.

Professor Tavek Eepex says, "It is."

Tulemon furrows his brow in thought.

Lilali raises her quill and prepares to take notes.

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "We are all aware of the situation. But I am not certain we have any information to act upon. Does anyone wish to bring information before the Board?"

    Alalne shakes her head.

Professor Tavek Eepex says, "I believe that would be a poor decision at this time."

You say, "I believe we shall have to trust our esteemed colleagues to continue in their good work."

Professor Tavek Eepex says, "If our investigator is found then there could be problems if he doesn't find a couple assasins although on the otherhand if we lose him that would be such a terrible shame and put us at quite the disadvantage."

Shafah nods her head at you.

Lilali scribbles down the proceedings in a neat shorthand.

Chairman Cririk Adom says to Tavek, "I agree, but sometimes pressing information must be brought forward. I simply wanted to bring the chance for that to happen."

Cririk nods his head at you, showing his acceptance.

Tavek sucks thoughtfully on his teeth.

Professor Tavek Eepex says, "Pray we will find the culprits soon, then."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I agree with the Air Marshal. We should let our comrades continue their work until they have information for us to act upon."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "I believe this is it, then."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "All in favor?"

Master Artist Shafah Cloudwalker says, "Aye."

    Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "Seconded."

    Professor Tavek Eepex says, "Aye."

Cririk sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

    You nod your head affirmatively.

Tavek sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Ieckco sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Lilali sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

You sniff disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.
At the end of the eastwind, the commissars present return to the Prime Material through the Matrix; no-one has been executed.

    It is now westwind one.

As the wind shifts to the west once more, the Board of Directors disperses in all directions, proceeding to their patrol sectors for the evening.

It is now halfway through westwind one.
As you reconvene at the Crystal Matrix, the Deputy Commissar sombrely announces the assassination of Tavek, Archmage of the Aeromancers, at the hands of an Illuminatus.
    Liwase leaves to the ether.
Offering a fantastic pirouette before departing, a dancing skeleton suddenly leaps off to the ether.

    It is now eastwind two.

The clouds twirl about sedately as the wind shifts back to the east once more. You complete your patrol and approach the Crystal Matrix, ready for further deliberation.

     o Tulemon (M)

     Majority: 5 votes.

    The following people are dead:
o Liwase (as Tavek (M)) (Archmage of the Aeromancers)

    The following roles remain:
      3x Populace  - director
      2x Assassin  - Illuminatus
1x Detective - Minister of Information
      1x Blocker   - Comptroller General

Alalne creases her brow in a frown.

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "That is troubling."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Now that we have gone through another westwind, we have more information to work upon. Unfortunately we have lost the Archmage, but the Primus and Minister of Information are still safe."

    Ieckco tugs his chin thoughtfully.

Lilali frowns in worry and concern, but continues to take the minutes.

You look thoughtful and say, "Safe only while their identities remain unknown however."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Does anyone have new business or information to bring forward? Or do we need to wait through another westwind to gather more?"

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "There is no Primus."

Chairman Cririk Adom says to Ieckco, "Oh. Of course. Excuse my mis-speech."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "I have no logical reason to suspect any among us, so I'm unsure of the value of making accusations for their own sake."

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "Well there are clearly assassins among us. We just do not know who yet."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "The Minister at this point has hopefully gathered information on two of our comrades, if he did not discover the Archmage. I submit we let him or her work one more westwind on the case before we level accusations, as Minister Ieckco has said."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "I will agree to this motion."

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "Agreed."

Alalne sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Ieckco sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

You frown and say, "Deferring but gives the illuminati agents a free westwind in which to kill again though. The decision is a troubling one. Can we risk another east wind without an execution?"

Softly, Secretary Lilali Skysoarer asks, "Can we risk an ill-targetted execution, Marshal?"

Chairman Cririk Adom says to you, "Who would you accuse then? It is fine to idly speculate, but I would not risk losing a comrade on 'feelings' instead of logic."

Lilali flushes with colour at her interruption, returning to her note-taking.

It is now halfway through eastwind two.

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "The more conversation we have the more likely the assassin will slip up."

    Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "Well."

You say, "I did not suggest an ill-targetted one. I feel however that closing our meeting early does not allow us with sufficient chance to learn the motivations of our fellows."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "We have several who have made no motion, yet remain silent."

    You nod your head affirmatively.

Minister Ieckco Shevat asks, "Perhaps they might like to speak for why they make no motion?"

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "That is why I make motions, and let the Board carry them or not as they prefer. Minister, Air Marshal, feel free to ask questions."

Master Artist Shafah Cloudwalker says, "I am waiting to see if the conversation leads in a useful direction before making a decision."

Minister Ieckco Shevat asks, "Tulemon? Might you speak your reasons too?"

Cririk puts his hands on his hips and goes "Hmmm!"

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Wind Rider?"

    Ieckco tilts his head curiously.

Lileza tilts her head and listens intently to Tulemon.

You say, "I would motion that those who do not contribute in these troubling times are the first to be executed without better evidence."

    Cririk gives a pained sigh.

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "That is a bit extreme."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I will reluctantly agree with the Air Marshal, but I still believe any executions this eastwind are premature."

    Lileza frowns at you.

You feel that eastwind two will end imminently.

Cririk sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Lileza sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Lilali sniffs disdainfully, handing a blank execution requisition to a nearby Deputy Commissar, voting to lynch no-one.

Lyethal leaves to the ether, emanating an aura of immense power.
    Lyethal has left the area.

    It is now eastwind three.

The clouds twirl about sedately as the wind shifts back to the east once more. You complete your patrol and approach the Crystal Matrix, ready for further deliberation.

1x Detective - Minister of Information

Tulemon furrows his brow in thought.

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "One more westwind, another loyal comrade unfortunately deceased."

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "I hope we have information this meeting."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "Fellow board members."

Shafah lets out an anxious breath.

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "I have an announcement."

Chairman Cririk Adom says to Ieckco, "Go ahead, Minister."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "I am the Minister of Information."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "If there are any who would argue this, step forth now."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Does anyone wish to dispute this fact? And what proof do you have?"

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "I can confirm three innocents."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "As none I have investigated have died."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "This will also confirm me."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "Croe, Cririk, and Alalne."

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "Very well, this is what we have been hoping for."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "None of them are Illuminati."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "That leaves Shafah, Tulemon, and Lilali."

Lilali creases her brow in a frown.

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "I confirm I am an innocent, but of course I would say that. I believe Minister Ieckco at this time, however, unless someone would like to challenge him?"

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "Now, Tulemon."

Minister Ieckco Shevat asks, "Why so reticent prior?"

Cririk raises an eyebrow at Tulemon.

Chairman Cririk Adom says, "He still remains silent. In the absence of any defense, I move we execute Wind Rider Tulemon."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "I believe we should lynch Tulemon. The Comptroller General should block one of Shafah or Lilali."

    You nod your head affirmatively.

You glance dispassionately at Tulemon, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Wind Rider Tulemon Clarramore says, "Solitude, I have no reason to make rash decisions. If you want to accuse me of being a Illuminatus, I will not resist."

Wind Rider Tulemon Clarramore says, "It will be a poor decision in part of the board, I will tell you that."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "And I will investigate, and hope the Comptroller has proability on their side."

Ieckco glances dispassionately at Tulemon, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "It is a numbers game. More lives are at stake than our own."

Chairman Cririk Adom says to Tulemon, "You remain silent after repeated requests for explanations? I will err with the Minister in this case."

It is now halfway through eastwind three.

Cririk glances dispassionately at Tulemon, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Wind Rider Tulemon Clarramore says, "So be it."

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "If I am wrong, we will know it is Shafah and Lilali."

Wind Rider Tulemon Clarramore says, "Good luck, As I am your comptroller general."

You say, "Submit your execution orders, lest inaction save a traitor."

Lilali glances dispassionately at Tulemon, ticking his name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Having received sufficient requisitions, the Commissar turns and marches sharply to Tulemon, raising his halberd. With a flash of steel and a brief spray of blood, the deed is quickly and efficiently carried out as Tulemon crumples lifelessly to the floor. The Commissar removes a recording disc from his pocket and examines it carefully, announcing that Tulemon was the Comptroller General.

Minister Ieckco Shevat says, "Shafah first."

Ieckco glances dispassionately at Shafah, ticking her name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

You glance dispassionately at Shafah, ticking her name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Filled with disgust, Shafah spits directly in Ieckco's face.

    Lilali cackles hellishly.

Alalne Windwhisper, Aria of the Arete says, "Fair enough."

Secretary Lilali Skysoarer snarls, "May chaos reign with the loss of your leader, fools."

Alalne glances dispassionately at Shafah, ticking her name off on an execution requisition and handing it to a nearby Deputy Commissar.

Having received sufficient requisitions, the Commissar turns and marches sharply to Shafah, raising his halberd. With a flash of steel and a brief spray of blood, the deed is quickly and efficiently carried out as Shafah crumples lifelessly to the floor. The Commissar removes a recording disc from her pocket and examines it carefully, announcing that Lilali was an Illuminatus in disguise!
    Maerad leaves to the ether.

    It is now westwind five.

The Board of Directors has successfully dispatched the Illuminati within their midst, and may now proceed with Operation Crucible, which will doubtless serve as a hallmark victory in the conflict against Gaudiguch. Well done!

The last vengeance game ended thusly:
     Survivors:
o Pejat (as Alalne (F)) (director) (winner!)
o Ushaara (as Croe (M)) (director) (winner!)

     Deaths:
o Zyphora (as Shafah (F)) (Illuminatus)
o Tavon (as Cririk (M)) (director)
o Liwase (as Tavek (M)) (Archmage of the Aeromancers)
o Avurekhos (as Tulemon (M)) (Comptroller General)
o Maerad (as Lilali (F)) (Illuminatus)
o Vivet (as Ieckco (M)) (Minister of Information)
o Lyethal (as Lileza (F)) (director)

The corners of Avurekhos's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.
Maerad curls her nose up and grimaces awfully.

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Oh, Pejat got to win!"

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "How lovely. I hope you enjoyed it."

You flash Pejat a joyous smile.

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris says to Maerad, "My daughter, I apologise for your mother's terrible luck in guessing!"

Pejat says, "It actually worked out."

You laughingly say, "I was dreading that it was going to be a confused ending."

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper frowns and says to Zyphora, "I did not enjoy that anywhere near as much. I had to be quite horrid."

Primus Vivet Pavok looks skeptical and says, "Tulemon should have just said who he was."

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris fondly tucks a feather behind Maerad's ear.

Lodge Keeper Avurekhos Myeras, Jaguar Scout says, "I did, at the end."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "I would have gone with it on good faith if no one else claimed it."

    Avurekhos nods his head sagely.

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Else."

Lodge Keeper Avurekhos Myeras, Jaguar Scout says, "It was too late."

Temporal Commissar Kalas Tavon, Civil Servant says to Avurekhos, "Way too late."

Avurekhos's mouth turns up as his face breaks into a smile.

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "We could have had an interesting face off if two people claimed it."

You laughingly say, "He did, just before I urged the lynching."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Ah well!"

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris smiles and says to Maerad, "It is only a game, my dear. No need to fear acting a role."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Oh, hmm."

Temporal Commissar Kalas Tavon, Civil Servant says to Maerad, "If it makes you feel better, I suspected you from the start."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Somehow it still surprised me. Maybe I was a goof and missed it."

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris says to Vivet, "I apologise for my untoward behaviour towards your character."

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says to Tavon, "I do hope I have not given note-takers a bad name, sir."

Primus Vivet Pavok says to Zyphora, "It's all in the spirit of the game."

    Zyphora nods her head emphatically.

You laughingly say, "I think I'm out of practise. I was suspicious of Alalne ."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "I was a little too."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Which is why I checked her."

Temporal Commissar Kalas Tavon, Civil Servant says to you, "I hope I didn't act suspicious this time."

You say, "Usually I can spot at least one illuminatus."

    You grin mischievously at Tavon.

You laughingly say, "Well hopefully I wasn't as paranoid."

Pejat says, "Wait, that was me."

Pejat says, "I urged us to be efficient."

You exclaim, "Cririk lived through the westwind? Illuminatus!"

Primus Vivet Pavok says to Tavon, "You did fine, but people always appreciate a confirm on Cririk."

The corners of Zyphora's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

Tavon nods his head at Vivet.

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper frowns and says to Zyphora, "At least I was not a terribly successful hideous murderer."

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris smiles and says, "Thank you for participating, everyone!"

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "I wouldn't say that."

Avurekhos's mouth turns up as his face breaks into a smile.

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris says, "I hope all of you had a pleasant experience."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "You two came pretty close."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "It was fortune that favoured the board, since you didn't kill anyone I investigated."

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris laughingly says to Maerad, "Neither of us were."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Which slimmed options down enormously."

Zyphora's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris says, "It was my unlucky guesswork."

Zyphora looks up into the air for divine inspiration.

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says to Vivet, "I suggested that we target you or two others the wind before you revealed...Mama didn't pick very well."

High Scion Zyphora Windwhisper, the Gilded Iris says, "First I chose Croe, who was blocked. And then I chose to kill Lileza over Ieckho, just before you gave your speech."

Maerad hides a grin behind her hand.

The corners of your mouth turn up as you grin mischievously.

    Vivet hums a happy tune.

Lodge Keeper Avurekhos Myeras, Jaguar Scout says, "It was actually Shafah that I blocked."

Avurekhos shifts his eyes suspiciously from side to side.

Zyphora gives Avurekhos the once-over, eyeing him suspiciously.

Lodge Keeper Avurekhos Myeras, Jaguar Scout says, "Repeatedly."

    Avurekhos snickers softly to himself.

Pejat says, "Oh! I need to take my leave. Thank you everyone for including me."

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Certainly."

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper smiles and says, "I must as well. Fair winds, everyone."
  • Awesome trivia contest thing, but in all of my ur'Guard library books and stuff it just mentions that bit about the Operation Peacemaker II being the name of it, not Project Cloudspout! The weapons were just called cloudspouts. :( I might be wrong, though.

My resource for that was Tully's book, where he calls it Project Cloudspout specifically, but it could always be wrong I suppose! That might just be the name he gave it, given the context you have. I am imperfect.

If anyone can get confirmation one way or another (before I do), that would be nice to know!

    Hallifax Centennial Refounding Festival Macarons
    nom nom

Hallifax got a large order of special macarons for the festival.

    Short desc:
    a ruffled, decadent macaron

    Long desc:
Its crust formed of two crisp cookies pressed tightly together, this decadent macaron is a harmonious set of contrasts, its hard outer layer hiding a sweet, creamy layer within. Colourfully rendered in whimsical design, the silhouette of a delicate aerial has been imprinted into the pastry shell, wings aloft in a magnificent display with a baker's signature flourish. Dyed one of the deep, jewelled shades of Continuum, this flaky confection appears light as a wisp of cloud, delicate and dainty to behold, seated most comfortably on a frilled lace doily.

    Eating:
You pluck a ruffled, decadent macaron from its lace doily perch, biting into its
flaky crust and leisurely discovering its centre of buttercream with happy
    surprise.

As you go to finish off the rest of the scrumptious dessert, you frown as your
teeth hit something hard. Turning it over in your hands, you gaze in wonderment
at a sparkling gemstone hidden within, blinking as it dissipates in a pinprick
    of jewelled light.

Coalescing in harmonious song, a gemstone rotund pigeon of carnelian ruby bursts
    into glorious being.
A gemstone rotund pigeon of carnelian ruby exclaims, "O, Hallifax! Beauteous
Hallifax! How lovely are thy crystal spires!"

The final message has random components:

    Coalescing in harmonious song, a gemstone (nightingale/swan/bird of paradise/rotund pigeon/translucent aerial/skylark) of (golden beryl/red bloodstone/deep turquoise/blue sapphire/purple garnet/prismatic opal/carnelian ruby/shining emerald) bursts into glorious being.
A gemstone (bird) of (gem) exclaims, [
"O, Hallifax! Beauteous Hallifax! How lovely are thy crystal spires!"
"The Lady Aesthete smiles upon our city, for its artistry is a testament to the love of Xyl and Trillillial!"
"Glory be to the Lord Architect and His Design! May Hallifax prosper under His Most Righteous Law!"
"A most glorious Centennial to the Beacon of Harmony, jewel of the Basin of Life!"
"A place for all, and all in their place! So shall Hallifax shine as a Beacon for all to serve!"

  • You forgot to mention their different flavours! Like yours was buttercream and the two that I had were spun-sugar and powderfruit preserves, respectively. Yum.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Let me see. While I have the signed contracts of several volunteers in my hand, several others have not yet sent me their contracts."

Pejat says, "I mean the willingness should cover most things?"

    Irillia nods her head emphatically.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "10,000 gold for this able young Symphonist! Keeper, you are starting us off quite high."

    You say, "15,000."

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "20000."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok laughingly says to you, "I'm willing to spend to supplement
    my poor offerings."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Good heavens, you wealthy citizens! 20,000 is the highest bid so far."

You say to Pejat, "Are you worth 20,000 gold, Citizen?"

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "22,000."

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "25000."

    Maellio grins mischievously at Ushaara.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "I hope you will save some gold for the later volunteers. We still have nine more to... And 25,000 from the Magistrate."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok asks, "A bidding war, is it?"

    Private Ihuicatl says, "26,000."

between the bidders, barely able to repress her laughter at the escalating bids.

    You say, "50,000."

    Pejat shrugs helplessly.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Very well. 50,000 for
young Pejat's services. Does anyone dare go higher?"

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "55000."

The corners of Telal's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

    Private Ihuicatl says, "56,000."

You say to Pejat, "Are you sure you want to serve the Magistrate?"

Maellio sucks thoughtfully on his teeth.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok frowns and says, "I'm already outbid."

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "60000."

Pejat smiles and says, "I don't think I have a choice on this unless I want to bid for myself."

    Private Ihuicatl says, "62,000."

Ihuicatl hides a grin behind her hand.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "I do believe I am not going to win."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Very well! Then Pejat's services go to Ihuicatl, I do believe!"

You say to Pejat, "It seems the Private is quite fond of you."

Pejat gives the world a smart salute.

Private Ihuicatl laughingly says to you, "He is my brother."

    Pejat chuckles long and heartily.

    You say to Ihuicatl, "Dangerous."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to you, "And my future children."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Very carefully."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "So, Pejat goes to Private Ihuicatl for 62,000 gold sovereigns. Do be sure to render your payments to me before the end of the year."

Telal's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

Ihuicatl nods her head at Irillia.

Private Ihuicatl smiles and says to Irillia, "I will withdraw the gold from the bank immediately after the auction."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "And next, we have..." She pauses again for dramatic effect and then flourishes an elegant white letter. "The Magistrate himself, Maellio Onz'verheu."

Rubbing her hands together, Ihuicatl grins with evil satisfaction.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance laughingly says, "Imagine the opportunity of having the Magistrate himself serving your whims."

Pejat says to Ihuicatl, "Do you intend to have the entire family?"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "He offers his talents as actor, amatur acrobat, bookbinding, bookkeeping, buearucractic advisor, butlering, chess instructor, chess opponent, conversationalist, designer, food taster, gardener, juggler, mandolinist, peer reviewer, poet, proofreader, scientist, singer, and stage magician for the duration of his servitude."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance smiles and says, "To his previous purchaser, I believe he composed a series of quite amusing haiku to entertain us."

You say to Maellio, "The juggling might require demonstration."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to you, "What have you to juggle?"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Let the bidding on the Magistrate begin!"

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "15000."

Entranced by Maellio, Ollie emits a long "Ooooh."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok exclaims to Ihuicatl, "Where did you get all the gold!"

You say, "It seems some people can hunt."

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "45000."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer absently collects an assortment of bottles from his person, juggling them absently through the air in loops and crosses, smiling wryly at you.

    Private Ihuicatl says, "46,000."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "50,000."

    Pejat applauds Maellio heartily.

    Private Ihuicatl says, "51,000."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "51,000 so far on the Magistrate, from the intrepid Ihuicatl."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance laughingly says to Ihuicatl, "I do hope you are not planning to sweep -all- the servants in this fashion."

Private Ihuicatl laughingly says to Irillia, "No, not all."

    You say, "53,000."

    Private Ihuicatl says, "55,000."

    You say, "57,000."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "I take it that the bidding has reached its apex?"

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer continues to juggle ignorantly of the proceedings, balancing up on the coils of his tail.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Very well, then the Magistrate goes to Private Ihuicatl for 60,000 gold!"

Rubbing her hands together, Ihuicatl grins with evil satisfaction.

    Pejat says, "Wow!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "And I am quite sure that if you asked her politely, she would happily paint a most beautiful and masterful portrait of you."

Maellio sucks thoughtfully on his teeth.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "And beside that, she is a very sweet and good-natured young lady fond of the arts and culture, as a good Hallifaxian citizen should be."

Eagerly, Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "I'll open the bidding at 20,000 gold sovereigns!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Thus, do I hear any bids on Miss Maerad... Ah, thank you, Keeper."

    Ollie Feyranti says, "105,500."

    Telal nods her head emphatically.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "I concede."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to you, "Well I can afford to bid more for a painter than a painting!"

    Ushaara nods his head sagely.

    You say, "I see."

    You say, "150,000."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Very well, then for 12... oh. Oh my."

    Ollie Feyranti says, "150,500."

    Ushaara stares implacably at you.

Nodding, Private Ihuicatl says to Ushaara, "That does make sense."

    You say, "Yes, quite logical."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "160,000."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "I see my worth is far below that of our younger citizens, I am admittedly pleased by this."

    You say, "Hmm."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "So... I believe Miss Maerad will go to Ushaara for 160,000 gold, then!"

    Pejat says, "Impressive!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "I am afraid, my good citizens, that I must withdraw for a little while, however."

You analyse your surroundings with cold, detached disinterest.

Maellio ponders you thoughtfully, looking you up and down.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Fair winds, all, until hopefully later."

    Irillia curtseys gracefully.

Irillia grows still and her lips begin to move silently.

Ushaara doffs a ceremonial comb morion helm to Irillia.

You doff a filigree crown of onyx and iron cordially to Irillia.

With a flourish of his arm, Yatrius bows deeply.

    You say, "Citizens."

    You say, "More bidding.

Telal's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

    Ushaara chuckles long and heartily.

You say, "He is also knowledgeable on the Lord Architect."

Telal, Cadenza Harmonia covers her mouth and giggles.

You say, "He also wrote a play, once."

Ihuicatl hides a grin behind her hand.

You say, "And is a fount of knowledge of various things."

    Pejat nods his head emphatically.

You say, "This is demonstrated by his winning of the Seal of Knowledge."

You say to Ushaara, "Advertise yourself, Keeper."

Pejat says, "I had no idea."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok looks thoughtful and says, "Hmm, let's see. I am also willing to serve as a sparring partner or instructor..."

Telal tilts her head and listens intently.

    Ollie Feyranti says, "25,000."

Ushaara wipes the back of his hand across his brow in relief.

    Ollie Feyranti says, "150,000."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "I'm sure we'll think of something."

You say to Ushaara, "Shall you bid on yourself?"

You say to Ushaara, "It might be dangerous, otherwise."

Rubbing his hands together, Ollie grins with evil satisfaction.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "He cannot afford himself at this point, I think."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "Perhaps, if someone is asking that I go hunting or somesuch!"

You say to Ushaara, "You might lose your ownership of Maerad."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok exclaims, "Oh, I can also offer services as an aetherpilot!"

    "Ahah!" Ollie exclaims triumphantly.

You say, "Shall anyone else attempt to outbid the Lord Potentate?"

    Ihuicatl shakes her head.

You say, "Then, the Keeper is sold for 150,000 gold to the Lord Potentate."

    Pejat applauds Ollie heartily.
Ollie Feyranti says to Ushaara, "I get tired of walking..."

Ushaara's mouth turns up as his face breaks into a smile.

    Ollie jumps onto Ushaara.

Ollie points boldly towards the horizon and declares in a proud tone, "Onward!"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok laughingly says, "What have I gotten myself in for?!"
  • You say, "Hmm."

You say, "Who shall be next."

You say, "Allyrianne is a growing Artist of the Collective, having developed several performances for this very Stage."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "Ooh, her rendition of 'O Hallifax' was superb. I wonder if she could be commissioned for another."

You say, "Including a rendition of 'O, Hallifax' performed at the Opening Ceremony."

You cast a suspicious eye about your surroundings.

    You say, "You may begin."

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "95000."

You say, "Citizen Telal is offering her life savings."

Telal's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

Ushaara flashes Telal a joyous smile.

Pejat says, "Should we count percent gold offered?"

    You say, "Unfortunately, we cannot."

Deep in thought, Vivet leans her cheek on her hand.

You say, "And what would the bidders have Citizen Allyrianne do?"

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "A good question, I am working on the answer as my pocketbook dwindles."

You say, "The Magistrate leads with 100,000 gold."

Ioni inclines his head politely to those around him.

You say to Ioni, "Shall you attempt to outbid the Magistrate on Citizen Allyrianne?"

Ioni looks about himself, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok smiles and says, "I will bid 101,446 on behalf of Telal!"

Pejat flashes Ushaara a joyous smile.

    Vivet's eyes sparkle with amusement.

Ollie Feyranti says, "Ushaara is deceiving us all."

You say to Ushaara, "Multiples of 500, Keeper."

Ollie Feyranti says, "He is not poor."

    Telal giggles happily.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to you, "I thought it was increments of 500 or more, no?"

    You say to Ushaara, "Incorrect."

You say to Ushaara, "Raise your bid, Keeper."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok asks, "To?"

You say to Ushaara, "I suggest 150,000."

    Pejat chuckles long and heartily.

    Ollie snickers softly to himself.

    Ioni ponders the situation.

Telal, Cadenza Harmonia says, "That's a lot."

Opening her mouth wide, Telal gapes in wonder.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok looks thoughtful and says, "My mental arithmetic is poor, but surely I could offer a lesser sum?"

You say to Ushaara, "Perhaps you would like a loan?"

    Pejat says, "Why not 100,500."

    You say, "Hmm hmm."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "105,000 then!"

You say, "Anyone who shall try to save the Keeper's bank account?"

    Ushaara smirks.

    Telal giggles happily.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "No, my work is done in that regard."

    Telal, Cadenza Harmonia says, "Ooh."

You say, "Then I shall bid myself, with 165,000 gold."

You nod your head at yourself.

Ushaara frowns angrily at you, shaking his fist in your direction.

You say to Ioni, "Shall you outbid me?"

Ioni ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus says, "I don't believe so."

You analyse your surroundings with cold, detached disinterest.

You say, "Then, I announce myself as the winner."

Ushaara flashes Maerad a joyous smile.

You say, "Next up is Commissar Tavon of the Sentinel Company."

You say, "He is a growing combatant of the Collective, a member of the Justicars, and is able to join you in hunting."

You say, "He also wields a sword."

    You nod your head sagely.

You say, "And is apparently quite old."

You say, "But do not let that sway you from bidding."

    You say, "You may begin."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "I will open the bidding with 25,000 gold. If only to make sure he practises in the demiplane!"

    Vivet grins mischievously at Ushaara.

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "35000."

You say, "And the Primus bids 35,000 gold."

You say, "Shall anyone else attempt to outbid her?"

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus says, "50,000 gold."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "50,000."

Ioni gives Ushaara the once-over, eyeing him suspiciously.

You say to Ushaara, "Too slow, Keeper."

    "Heh heh heh" Pejat chuckles.

Ioni taps his fingers together and murmurs, "Excellent..."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "60,000."

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "65000."

Telal tilts her head and listens intently.

You give 75,000 gold sovereigns to Telal.

You say to Telal, "There, you may bid."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "70,000."

Telal, Cadenza Harmonia says, "Oh! 75,000."

    Telal giggles happily.

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "80000."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to you, "Stop enabling people to outbid me!"

Ushaara frowns and shakes his fist angrily.

    Telal giggles happily.

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "85,000."

You say, "Alas, it seems the Primus has dashed the dreams of our young Citizen."

Telal's exhausted mind can stay awake no longer, and she falls into a deep sleep.

You say, "The stress has caused her to fall asleep."

Telal opens her eyes and yawns mightily.

Telal, Cadenza Harmonia says, "Oops, it happened again."

The corners of Ushaara's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

    Telal blushes furiously.

You say to Vivet, "Perhaps if you bid more, than the Collective will forgive your transgression."

Telal tilts her head and listens intently.

    Vivet ponders the situation.

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus says, "90,000."

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "95000."

    Ushaara ponders the situation.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "I believe he's now over my budget."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to Ushaara, "You keep saying that, yet you keep bidding so high."

You say, "Shall anyone else be attempting to purchase the Commissar?"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to Maellio, "Well I've only won one auction so far!"

You say, "The Keeper contemplates how much debt he can withstand."

    You say, "Any final bids?"

The body of Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance appears in a flash and her soul descends to fill it, causing the previously expressionless face to fill with emotion.

    Vivet beams broadly at Irillia.

You incline your head politely to Irillia.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok asks, "What is the current bid?"

    You say, "No?"

    You say, "95,000."

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus says, "100,000."

Maellio inclines his head politely to Irillia.

Maellio inclines his head politely to Irillia.

    Yatrius bows respectfully to Irillia.

Pejat gives Irillia a respectful salute.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Greetings. I trust the auction is going smoothly?"

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "I believe it is."

You say, "And Emeritus Windwhisper leads currently with 100,000 gold."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to Irillia, "A great success at emptying our pockets, yes!"

Telal, Cadenza Harmonia says, "It's neat!"

    Irillia grins mischievously at Ushaara.

Telal's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

You say, "Perhaps it is the duty of another of the Warrior Caste to purchase the Commissar."

You say, "Final chance to bid, Citizens."

    You say, "Then."

You say, "Ioni wins with 100,000 gold."
Ushaara gives up a round of applause.

    Ioni smiles softly.

Ollie gives up a round of applause.

    Telal cheers wildly!

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to Ioni, "Be sure to give him a good workout in the demiplane for me!"

You say, "I shall now let the Minister continue with the auction."

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus says to Ushaara, "That's
exactly what I was planning to do."

Ushaara's mouth turns up as his face breaks into a smile.

Primus Vivet Pavok says to Irillia, "That was the conclusion of the Commissar's auction."
  • Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Very well, then. If I may, allow me to empty your pockets... I mean, continue the auction by beginning the bidding on the next individual."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Provost and Avatar and High Scion of Lady Isune, Zyphora Windwhisper."

    Irillia coughs softly.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Hrm."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "I meant to say, Provost of the Centre of Aeromantic Engineering."

Vivet purses her lips pensively, gazing off into the distance as she carefully gathers her thoughts.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "This brilliant and charming lady is an aristocrat among artists and aesthetes alike, as her winning of the Seal of Beauty shows. In addition, her charm and generosity are unparalelled even among fellow Hallifaxians."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok proclaims, "50,000!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Her talents include designing, painting, conversation, hunting, and...well, I am sure many others in this room could name mo..."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Ah, very well then."

Maerad hides a grin behind her hand.

Maellio sucks thoughtfully on his teeth.

    You say, "100,000."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Do I hear 50,500 for Zyphora?"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok smiles and says, "Apologies. Too eager."

Irillia gives a trillingly melodic laugh.

    Vivet hums a happy tune.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Apparently you do."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "120,000!"

You say to Ushaara, "Oh, I see."

You say to Ushaara, "90,000 is overbudget for Tavon."

Grand Libretto Yatrius Pavok, Crystal Cavatina exclaims, "100,000 gold!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "If any of you have any gold left, I highly urge you to bid upon this lovely lady."

You say, "But not for Zyphora."

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "130,000."

    You say, "200,000."

Grand Libretto Yatrius Pavok, Crystal Cavatina exclaims, "126500!"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok smiles and says to you, "Lady Windwhisper is a Master Artist, Commissar Tavon is not!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Good heavens. I believe that must be one of the highest sums I have heard yet for a servant."

You say, "Tekora once bid a million gold on someone."

    Telal giggles happily.

    You say, "I think Phoebus."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer sticks out his tongue and says to Ushaara, "I am a Sealbearer of Beauty and you barely bid on me."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Ah. Well, would anyone like to continue raising Zyphora's price toward that lofty limit?"

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "Hmm. 250000, I suppose."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok exclaims to Maellio, "Hallifax has too many sealbearers of beauty, I forgot!"

Pejat smiles and says to Maellio, "You should have listed that to Minister Irillia."

The corners of Telal's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Perhaps..."
    7
Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "... I tend to forget."

    You say, "Hmm hmm."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Very well, the bidding has reached 250,000 from Primus Pavok."

Pejat smiles and says to Maellio, "Then list yourself as accomplishing more than you can remember."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Would anyone like to venture an even higher bid upon the Provost?"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok frowns and says, "Hmm... I may have to go on a lengthy hunting trip, but 275,000."

    Telal giggles happily.

Primus Vivet Pavok exclaims to Ushaara, "Yes, hunt lots!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Ah, 275,000! Zyphora will be astonished that she has fetched such a price."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to Ushaara, "And take me with you, I'm beginning to stick out as one of the Lord's few non-demigods."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Very well. Unless I hear another bid, Zyphora Windwhisper is sold to the Keeper for 275,000 sovereigns."

You look about yourself, rubbing your chin thoughtfully.

    You say, "300,000."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "Going once..."

Ushaara sticks his tongue out and says 'Ack.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Ah, and the Castellan sneaks in a bid! Keeper, do you wish to counter?"

    Ushaara ponders the situation.

You say to Ushaara, "Perhaps, Keeper, I will give you 40,000 gold to add to your bid."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "Exemplar, you seem to be slightly unfamiliar with how competitive bidding works."

You say, "No, I am quite aware."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "I believe I will have to defer to the High Exemplar."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "If only to empty his pockets for the next auction."

The corners of Irillia's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

You say, "I assure you, I have more."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Excellent reasoning, Keeper."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to you, "The Collective thanks you graciously for your donations."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "I believe that the Exmplar is not necessarily a "play to win" sort."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Then to the High Exemplar and Castellan goes Zyphora Windwhisper for the princessly sum of 300,000 gold."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "My goodness. I do hope you all have at least a little gold left in your bank accounts, lining of your pockets, and other various containers."

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "We shall find out shortly."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "For next I offer up the High Exemplar himself, Shedrin Shevat, Castellan of the Matrix Research Institute, warrior, scholar, former Magistrate, former Minister of Cultural Affairs, a man of many talents."

You say, "As a note, I also own two other individuals."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "And many philosophical questions. If you enjoy thinking about definitions of various abstract concepts, this is a servant you cannot miss out on!"

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "100000."

You say, "If you bid smartly, you could get three for one."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "120,000."

    Primus Vivet Pavok says, "140,000."

Encouragingly, Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "140,000 gold? I am sure his combat advice and training alone should merit more!"

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "150000."

Clearing her throat softly, Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says, "175,000."

Utterly entranced, Ushaara emits a long "Ooooh."

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "200000."

Maerad furrows her brow in thought.

    Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says, "225,000."

Maellio sucks thoughtfully on his teeth.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "I concede."

You say, "Zyphora and Allyrianne combined were worth 465,000."

You say, "If you own me, then you get both of those as well, eh."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "250,000!"

You say, "A deal of a century."

Irillia gives a trillingly melodic laugh.

    Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says, "275,000."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "I see that has motivated some more people to join in."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok laughingly says to Maerad, "Just how high are you willing to go?"

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper laughingly says to Ushaara, "Higher!"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok laughingly says, "Let's find out!"

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "300,000."

The corners of Ushaara's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

Looking ever so slightly worried, Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says, "325,000."

    Irillia chuckles long and heartily.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok looks thoughtful and says, "327,000."

Grinning, Pejat says, "The city builds a wonderful stage and we are immediately refilling the coffers!"

You say to Ushaara, "Not so enthusiastic now, eh?"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says to you, "Perhaps you should share some more of your talents, to provoke even higher bidding."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to you, "Just dreading how much hunting this will mean I will have to do."

    You say, "My resume includes..."

    Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper says, "329,000."

You say, "Being the Archmage, Force Commander, Magistrate, High Exemplar, Castellan, Minister of Culture, Librarian, Ambassador, aides to all ministires."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok frowns and says, "I think I will have to concede before I completely bankrupt myself."

You say, "I am capable of hunting."

    You say, "And killing."

    You say, "And being crystal."

The corners of Pejat's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "You've moved onto adjectives, Exemplar."

You say, "Being crystal is important."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance laughingly says, "Perhaps on second thought, I should have kept his list of talents to what I already listed."

Pejat says, "Perhaps he tries really hard."

You say, "I also can make gold."

You say, "As you all saw."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Well, the last bid I heard was 329,000 from Miss Maerad Windwhisper. Shall anyone outbid her?"

You say, "So perhaps you can turn a profit if you get me to work."

Vivet looks about herself, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.

Ollie ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."

You say, "At minimum I can make 50,000 gold a day."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Ooh. Just think, you could recoup your investment before the end of the year."

Pejat whispers to Maellio, "Is this another exaggeration?"

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "I do not know."

    You say, "It is not."

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus says, "It is quite possible."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "No one? Well, then, Shedrin goes to Maerad Windwhisper for a magnificent total of 329,000 gold sovereigns."

Aeromage Maerad Windwhisper whispers to Ushaara, "If it makes you feel better, Grandpa, I am going to have 592 gold left in all of the Basin after that."

Telal claps her hands together merrily.

Ushaara utters a deep, rumbling laugh at Maerad.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok laughingly says to Maerad, "Shedrin almost tempted me to raise my bid!"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok smiles and says, "Just as well I didn't."

Maerad smiles shyly, averting her eyes.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Now, we have only two citizens remaining. I hope you do not stint on their bidding, even with the massive sums that have been flying about!"

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "Well I hope you get him to recoup his value!"
  • Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance smiles and says, "Next, Ollie Feyranti, the Lord Potentate of the Symphonium, offers his body and soul as a servant, if I interpret his message correctly."

    Pejat chuckles long and heartily.

The corners of Telal's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

Ollie shifts his eyes suspiciously from side to side.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok asks Ollie, "Are you a skilled gatherer of esteem?"

Ioni ponders Ollie thoughtfully, looking him up and down.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "As a frequenter of the arena and a cunning combatant, he would surely help out anyone's chances in a fight!"

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus exclaims, "75,000!"

Ollie Feyranti says to Ushaara, "Yes!"

    Ollie nods his head sagely.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok laughingly says to Ioni, "Not even waiting for an answer?"

Ushaara nods his head at Ollie.

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "120,000!"

Pejat gives the world a smart salute.

    You say, "Hmm hmm."

Emeritus Ioni Windwhisper, Forecaster of the Arcus says, "140,000."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Oh, my. It seems esteem is the prompt that drives Hallifaxians to offer up their gold!"

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "160,000!"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "160,000 for the Lord Potentate. Do I hear a higher bid?"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance laughingly says, "Not a sum to be disdained, considering our citizens must surely be counting their last sovereigns at this point."

    Ollie blinks.

    You nod your head sagely.

    Ushaara smiles happily.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance smiles and says, "Very well! Lord Potentate, do serve the Keeper well until the end of the year."

Telal claps her hands together merrily.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "And for the last servant to be auctioned off this year, one hundred years after the refounding of our glorious Beacon of Harmony..."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "The last citizen to be auctioned off is Tisianna Windwhisper."

    Ushaara smiles softly.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Sweet, gentle-natured, artistic, and charming, this lovely young trill lady is a talented paintress and designer in her own right."

    You say, "75,000."

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "80,000!"

Primus Vivet Pavok looks thoughtful and says, "I like how the opening bids are
now beyond the full value of the first two."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance smiles impishly and says, "My goodness, Keeper, you shall have all the finest painters in Hallifax at your beck and call for months."

    Ushaara nods his head affirmatively.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok exclaims, "I have plans!"

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "That is doubtlessly his intent."

    Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says, "90000."

    Maerad blinks.

    Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "100,000."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Ah, 90,000 from... Oh, my. 100,000 from the Keeper."

You say, "I'm not sure the Keeper has that much."

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Come now, does anyone else wish to bid upon the services of one of our most promising young artists?"

    Ollie Feyranti says, "150 000."

    Ushaara peers at Ollie unscrupulously.

Ollie Feyranti says to Ushaara, "I need a portrait."

Frowning at his dwindling gold, Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "160,000."

Shaper-Magistrate Maellio Onz'Verheu, Penumbral Observer says to Ushaara, "All for the good of the Collective, Keeper."

You say, "Surely we cannot have the Keeper own everything."

Ushaara utters a deep, rumbling laugh at Ollie.

Irillia nods her head at you.

Keeper Ushaara Pavok says to Ollie, "161,000."

Ollie shifts his eyes suspiciously from side to side.

Ollie Feyranti says to Ushaara, "161,500."

Ollie waggles his eyebrows suggestively at Ushaara.

You say, "Surely someone else wants to bid."

Irillia gives a trillingly melodic laugh.

With finality, Keeper Ushaara Pavok says, "170,000."

Ollie Feyranti says, "Hold on. I need to consult with my financial advisor."

Chuckling, Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Lord Potentate? Have you found some extra gold in a pocket flap or two?"

Ushaara utters a deep, rumbling laugh.

The corners of Telal's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

    Ollie Feyranti says, "Hurry.."

    Ollie drums his fingers impatiently.

"Ahah!" Ollie exclaims triumphantly to a shaggy haired mammoth with black wings.
A shaggy haired mammoth with black wings pats Ollie on the head with his trunk.

Nonchalantly, Primus Vivet Pavok says, "175,000."

A shaggy haired mammoth with black wings pats Ollie on the head with his trunk.

    Ioni stares implacably at Ollie.

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Oh, my. And the Primus slips into the bidding unexpectedly."

Ollie Feyranti says to a shaggy haired mammoth with black wings, "I see.."

Keeper Ushaara Pavok laughingly says, "I will have to step out of this bidding war."

    Ollie Feyranti says, "180,000."

You say, "And what will you do with Citizen Tisianna?"

Minister Irillia Shevat, the Aesthete's Renaissance says, "Oh, my. That mammoth must have given him some sage financial advice. Primus, are you equal to it?"

Primus Vivet Pavok says, "May as well spread the debt around a little more. 190,000."

Ollie ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."

Ollie tilts his head and listens intently to a shaggy haired mammoth with black wings.
