I was surprised there wasn't a thread for people to share their art-works that are vaguely Lusternian in theme, but not specifically character portraits or something else, and perhaps not quite Artisanal Submission quality but just something to show off. A few better and more prolific artists than me have threads for their own works, but this thread is for everyone else. Please share your scribblings, and let's make sure this is 'easy entry', any drawing or painting with anything Lusternian about it is welcome, not only masterworks.

For today's Inktober prompt I decided my "fancy" would be a little Maylean in theme, so I'll kick it off with this quick ink-only sketch, drawn with Staedtler Pigment Liner pens and Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens on a Canson mixed media sketchbook.

This thread hasn't quite picked up like I hoped. Or at all. Well, anyway, as #inktober continues, here's another Lusternia-themed entry.

Everyone in Serenwilde knows the ancient Ode of Ellindel, but the game doesn't tell us the words; we just see ourselves recite it. I wanted to give it canonical words, but my character couldn't be the one writing it, of course. To get around this, I wrote a short treatise in which I set the words to music, and did a literary and historical analysis of its structure and associated dance. This let me present my words as the words we all knew. I am gratified to note that other players took it up and those words are now mentioned in several works as definitive. The music itself, about 40% of which is seen here, is very simplistic, about half on purpose (it's intentionally a memorable chant), and half due to my severe limitations as an out-of-practice composer.

For the final #inktober of the year (and boy am I glad, this year has really felt like a grind) I decided I didn't want something icky for Crawl, so feeling pretty Serenwilde-inspired, I did some crawling vines.
