The figurine rune is expensive because that's what it sold for during the auction. Which means the people willing to pay that much now already has one, and the people who aren't willing to pay that much won't buy the rune (or at least far fewer of them than would have bought it had it been cheaper).

To be fair, at least some of us who bought it during the auction thought we could use it to more easily level up figurines, using an indestructible figurine.
It doesn't actually work out that way; I suspect the price would have been less in the auction if it had been made clear that it was essentially useless for all purposes except for non-decay-figurine. Though I might've ended up buying one anyways at the current price, I do like my non-decay things, its price doesn't actually reflect its function.
Can you just spend 100 credits to make a figurine reset?
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

It wouldn't seem that making it undestructible would break anything and would probably get a few more people to buy the thing. I don't get it myself. You could get a bag of figurines all levelled that would never decay before the end of time for less.
Hows about a new artifact for manses. This artifact would be a one time use only, could be used in any room of the manse and would make the room permanently peaced.
Would be great for those aether shop owners who do not want their customers killing each other while they shopped >.>;
The soft, hollow voice of Nocht, the Silent resounds within your mind as His words echo through the aether, "Congratulations, Arimisia. Your mastery of vermin cannot be disputed."

But this would make the aethership RAM module useless...someone could peace their whole ship.
Or, it does not work in a modeled room. So if the chair, gird, turret, collector, dock, or any other lockable module is there, peaced room cannot be placed. But I like what @Ssaliss said better, only works while the ship is docked.

Besides, when was the last time you saw someone ram someone else?
I do have these logs on Pastebin...

Artifact lute and mandolin picks, or violin/viola bows. What would they do? I have no idea. Maybe something cheap that makes you learn an instrument faster.
I was reading about girl Thor earlier and I was thinking, an artifact sigil (or illusions skill) where you wield your bard instrument and there's a flash of light, transforming your appearance and title into bard-mode, would be fun and cool. So like, normally you are wearing your ratty great robe, boots and backpack and then when you go into bard mode, it gives you custom clothing appearance, high influencing prestige, etc.
Can WRITE BOOK ON TABLET to be able to write anywhere without sitting down or using a desk. Bonus points if you can WRITE GNOMEMAIL to have it just spit on a letter on some generic design without us having to go find a letter in a shop or wherever.
Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.
I would, but letters decay and are thus a pain to keep in stock. Alternatively, give me a Gnomish Folder that preserves letters forever and give me my convenience that way.

There are artifacts you can attach to your instruments that make it at master level immediately anyway.

There is an item that allows you to store a full outfit and recall it at a later time. Way I understand it, it is a bit unwieldy, but still sounds like it does what you expect it to. There are also stoles/masks that change your in-room appearance and demigod powers that do the same.
Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.

Putting letters in a desk halves the decay time at least. Funnily enough, stationery is probably the thing I sell most of in my aethershop.
Definitely love the idea of being able to write on the move.
It's doubtful writing on the run will work, unless the admin make it to be able to be done only if you can be masochistic.

Sounds like a perfect solution to me.
Besides, there already are several ways to enter the editor even if you're not at a post office/news room. Quite frankly, I've never seen (nor heard of) any of those methods being abused.
Still want the ability to append text to a page without entering the editor before I'd want the ability to enter the editor from anywhere. Letters not decaying until they were written on would be fantastic, though.
My understanding is they were very, very briefly, but that the offending parties look lovely on either side of the path, and flower once a year, around Julairy.

Here's a very silly artifact:

(100% support for mobile desk though)
