There have really been some major changes to value in things lately, especially in regards to goop and things that produce items such as maps, genies and the like. I'm hoping we can combine all of the threads into one big thread, and brainstorm some changes for the admin to ponder.
Please keep comments constructive when possible. This isn't a thread for complaints.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

Things I think should definitely be kept as goop-purchasable no matter what: vials, bandoliers, pipes, packs/pouches, noses, skins of any kind, aethersuits and their parts/pieces, gnome weapons, prayerbeads, zimoru, stasis/privacy gems.
2. The admin need to understand that people purposefully bought many of these items listed as tagged items because they produced Czigany coins. I can assure you that 95% of people who bought urtraps didn't buy them mostly for the cookies, and most people only use them for silver cookies (xp).
We get it that things have changed, and they're gonna change more. It still stings, so it may not be a bad idea to cushion the blow. Work on increasing the rewards of our investment within your system: removing the goop cap is a good start.
Another would be to remove the concept of "sticky" goop. Frankly, if goop is no longer worth credits in any way, there shouldn't be an issue if I want to buy an artifact vial for someone else, or even one of my own alts. Nobody is going to be grinding up mountain of goop to supply their alt-army with cherub-bone vials. Probably not.
3: Allow us to spend goop on more things than consumables. I'd trade goop for personal customizations, or essence, or to extend the decay on something I can't rune, or any number of things. Be creative!
Not just goop really, but how everything should fit together which you then echo back into what would be good benefits for the generators without needing to change them again later.
@Estarra In no way should this be implemented prior to retirement values being locked in.
Random manse artifacts would be interesting and I think elsewhere it was you that mentioned that there could be a goop version of lips (perhaps Silver Lips)?
No one will be buying 2k artifacts with goop in the future (with a few exceptions goop artifacts are completely different than credit ones after a previous change).

They don't sell for a credit each now. They certainly won't be selling for a credit when they're the means to change goop to credits.
