      Sure, and you could have timed it so banshee hits right after the twist, then you could have toaded instead of the damage attack, giving me WAY less time.
    4)You also had max health and but didn't bother to keep your mana topped off against someone you know does burst mana drain. You've fought me enough and I've specifically pointed this out to you. Since you didn't bother to post the whole log, I suspect you were on at least 1 or 2 if not all 3 of your healing balances. You didn't update your sip priority to mana (obviously, your health is maxed) or your sparkle/scroll/sip levels to deal with the mana drains and let it dip over 1000 mana. M&M makes it easy to do all of these things, and you even ganked me so it was a conscious decision to not do so. You're not fighting a warrior, I'm not going to wound or damage you out. Your sole priority is mana, and 1000 mana would have kept you from being toaded. Heck, 500 would have saved you. :/I'll admit that, but it still means that the final twist attack is overly powerful for its cost and the ease with which to prepare it.
    EDIT: It wouldn't have been quite enough for a toad with an early banshee, a few mana points too many, but close enough.

    1) It's basic math. Toad is 8 power. Twist is 1 power. So that's 1 power, perhaps 2 if you are lucky with the power regen tic, to perpetuate an aeon lock.

    2) Maybe! Maybe not. I'd suspect you'd focus body to cure throatlock, but cure paralysis instead, Then shield. This also implies a what, 60% chance for mantakaya not to be shrugged x 33% for shuck to hit with throat lock every final twist attempt. ~20% chance for the champion alone to get your proposed kind of set up. Just as a note Shuck != twist.

    3) Yes, but had you followed 4's advice it wouldn't have mattered how early the banshee was.

    4) Which you're obviously free to believe. Your log just doesn't support it. The final twist is certainly powerful. If you want to have your envoy push an alternate kill method for SDs and have twist toned to compensate, you're more than welcome.

    You don't have to constantly use doublewhammy. One doublewhammy or even a normal whammy and then regular predrawn hexes might do it.

    As a note a Moondancer cannot give you a good statement to point 1.  A shadowdancer hexist has no way to reapply aeon, they can "support" it but it will time out. A moondancer can actually renew it (if patchou doesnt).

    Twist is still a bit strong, and I do not find "it takes X power first" to be a limitation unless its time sensitive. Up to an hour is not exactly in a rush.  Twist is not it's own insta, but it is not exactly complicated right now (not Celina's fault unless she refuses to envoy it). It is also a skill with very little synergy to a tertiary you can meteor with it, but hexes/healing get nothing. Plus side, you CAN be healing since you dont need any other (tertiary) skills to back up twist.

    You need a tert that isn't healing to be successful 1v1 in the top tier. Plain and simple. It's not a point I really care to bother arguing over. If people can't alter their sip/sparkle/scroll thresholds, it's not the tippity top teir.

    Supporting should be enough if banshee hits right after the twist. You basically have to keep it up until banshee hits a second time and make them burn a little mana for focusing. Sounds doable to me with hexes, but I have no way of trying it out.

    @Veyrzhul: Yes. Maintain aeon for 12 seconds with hexes and spend no power so you can still toad. I would love to hear your theory crafting on how that is possible.

     

    @Rivius: Why do you need to not be anything but healing to fight top tier as a SD? I would actually go as far to say you need to be astro for meteor to be competitive at the top tier 1v1. Twist is really powerful in mid and high tier combat, but when people learn the counters, it really lacks in potency. The limiting factor remains the power cost of toad, and night/wicca have no ways to perpetuate aeon for free or cheap (or in Night's case, in any way at all). Healing is fab for group fights and support. It blows 1v1 for all but researchers.

    Should be, it's magic type. Any non-unblockable damage would probably go through the routines for DMP.
