I know that horns and watches may be made permanent by attaching some but not all artifact jewelry runes. Anyone happen to have some kind of anwer on which ones may be used?
A lacework of silver is exquisitely formed and thickly clustered around the middle of this watch to conceal and protect the inner workings. The outer edges are thin, naught more than thin swirling loops which obscure nothing. Tiny flecks of obsidian are scattered along the strands, and only through close inspection can it be observed that these flecks each have eight legs. The center of the watch's face consists of intricately-shaped obsidian, a black rose with a pair of obsidian thorns forming the hands. This face is covered by a thin pane of glass, upon which can be seen the inscribed shape of a leopard ready to leap upon unsuspecting prey. It weighs 8 ounce(s). It bears the distinctive mark of Talan Ysav'rai. There is a clockwork charge regulator firmly attached. It is enchanted with the true time spell, holding 50 charges. It has been stamped with the seal of The Ysav'rai Kinship. It has a Great Rune of Bodily Fortitude attached to it (#147842).
Long and slender, this flute is a long, straight pipe of polished wood, with several round holes for the fingers lined along one side. A slightly larger opening, limned with bright gold, serves as a mouthpiece at one end. Swirling patterns of leaves are etched upon the dark wood and painted in smooth golden tints, winding gracefully along the length of the flute. Twin bands of tiny emeralds set in gold encircle either end of the flute, lending the instrument a touch of brilliance. The material of the flute makes for a voice is sweet and trembling, and more whispery than that of most other flutes. It weighs 13 ounce(s). It bears the distinctive mark of Talan Ysav'rai. There is a clockwork charge regulator firmly attached. It is enchanted with the avarice horn spell, holding 40 charges. It has a Great Rune of Enchantment attached to it (#138063).
I'm afraid that's the closest answer I can give you, after using pliers to attach and detach runes until I found ones that worked.
