You guys were amazing to hang out with! I'll miss you all, and I truly cannot wait until we next cross paths. You're all crazy motherfuckers, keep being awesome
I got on the wrong train at first, but course corrected and got to my bus home in time. I'll try and remember to do a summary of the day after I sleep.
Only took me 2 days to get sort of familiar with the subway system.
Jokes aside, thanks everyone for meeting up and being so welcoming and cool. I've never done a larger meet like that so it was a bit daunting of an idea. You guys were all so amazing and I've made some incredible memories this weekend.
Looking forward to doing this in the future!
Flames erupt from the caldera below as a distorted voice echoes, "Their spirit must be broken if they wish to be reborn as true warriors."
Phew, on the bus ride home! This weekend was so awesome; our group was so, so fun. Thanks so much to everyone who came out!
@Xena, @Acrune and I, at 2 AM last night, were reminiscing over things we learned this trip (i.e., a session of ridiculously pointing out my personal flaws) so I'm just going to come up with my own list of observations and points of reflection.
1) In Lusternia, I make people think that I hate them. I promise, I don't hate you, and I'm the nicest person ever.
2) @Rancoura joined the league with @Xenthos of super nice and awesome Gloms IRL. I'm still undecided on @Lyora, who gave me a run for my money banter trash talking the whole time. But then we had the longest goodbye hug ever (I think she may have fallen asleep mid-hug).
3) I should not drink tequila at the end of the night. I left a part of myself on the streets of NYC that day.
4) @Sior is #lifegoals for being such a great person. What a model citizen and friend. He also gave us such great recommendations. What a guy.
5) @Kalaneya is so cool. Like. So cooool. Like too cool for me. And also the best. And also really loves karaoke. And is so cool. But wouldn't share Glom secrets with me.
6) @Vhaedryn is super classy with his drink selection and is way too generous. (Cheers dude!) He's also really shy at karaoke (loljokes).
7) @Sylvanas made our walk in Central Park more special and made me rediscover just how beautiful it was beyond the surface. She's also "an Aquamancer in real life." (Come to Celest hey?)
8) The Canadians were so crazy for enduring the long bus ride in, but I'm so glad they came. They were also surprisingly up-in-arms over the suspicion that they may say "aboot".
9) Speaking of buses, I should have picked a different seat. The right side of my bum is going to be wet for the next 3.5 hrs, and I already see that my right arm will also follow suit.
10) @Bandeon DOES know how to speak proper English; he's just a masochist for manually typing out his accent IG. He also totally looks like that awesome dude from Mythbusters, as pointed out by @Xena.
11) @Lehki I mean @LuckyJohn is such a bro. What a gentleman and scholar. He's also invulnerable to my appeals to move to Celest. Must be a RL forest snuggler.
12) @Neos is capable of catching his bus on time, sometimes, but still prone to transit mishaps. I have faith that he'll do better someday. He also really really wants me to profess my boss-ness.
13) @Xena just wants to cuddle with me. She's also going to be a RL PK god soon. Better watch out. (I can't think of more original nice things to say, and she'll get a big head.)
14) @Acrune is the best wingman to back you up in conversations, when you need to plant an idea or when people try to deny that something happened. Total validation. Also has a great choice in music.
15) Half of these people don't even really play Lusternia anymore, but we all remembered such great memories and forged new ones. It's always a pleasure to meet new friends and see old ones, and I hope everyone had as great a time as I did! Nothing but love.
Wish I could like @Kaimanahi 's post more than once
Thanks everyone for the great weekend. Special thanks to those that made sure I actually went to the meet in the first place, and anyone that made activity plans for the group and guided us with their NYC wisdom. I'm always wary of meeting new people, but, as usual, it was great to hang out with the people I've never met before, and of course, seeing the regulars too. Looking forward to next time!
I had a blast at karaoke and The Lion King! You guys were also just a blast to chill and drink with, talking bout lusternia drama. Kelly is the realest bro though

Tonight amidst the mountaintops
And endless starless night
Singing how the wind was lost
Before an earthly flight
With the lovely @Rancoura
The gang! Top row from the left: @Lehki, @Bandeon, @Neos, @Lyora, @Rancoura, @Kalaneya, @Acrune, @Sior. On the bottom from the left: @Sylvanas, Kaimanahi, @Xena. Love these guys!
Highlights of the trip so far: Smorgasberg and karaoke.
Low points: Getting lost on the way back to my hostel and ending up in a bad place. I promptly got back on the metro and noped out of there.
