- gift boxes because most of these are not really neutral and still fancy - simple kegs that still have some appeal - armoires/wardrobes
I suppose it's really 'all things artisan' because all of these lists make me really sad. I may go and get an artisan cartel once I got the coin for it to help out with the effort.
I don't know if it's good or not, but I submitted a public design for a giftbox on the half-painted koi in the Lady @Maylea's realm!
Not a request, but there should be a banjo (read: mandolin) in the public design list eventually. Shoutout to Sondayga for the inspiration and Aramel for submitting it.
Her storm-coloured eyes a muted blue, Lisaera, the Silver Goddess says, "Only sorrow can come from a rotting thought, My child, just like roots that have been drowned. You are a paragon of the wisdom I would see spread throughout the Serenwilde, but even the strongest minds must find release." - A shimmering liquid appears in your inventory smelling sweetly of something carbonated. It vanishes in a puff of silver smoke seconds later. - I write things
"Oh yeah, you're a naughty mayor, aren't you? Misfile that Form MA631-D. Comptroller Shevat's got a nice gemstone disc for you, but yer gonna have to beg for it."
But I've had designs rejected before for using gemstones outside their typical shade, so ymmv
It depends on what you mean by "typical." Like beryl isn't always golden or yellow. Sapphires can be colors that aren't blue. I've done white coral before in a design.
If you're using colors that are not inherent to any version of the gemstone, I could see asking for tints, though.

Challenge: gender neutral suits, no mention of masculine or feminine, or masculine tailored for feminine, just a good looking set of suits in fancy fabrics. My changeling 'alts' aren't necessarily of the buxom, voluptuous hipped kind, nor linebacker dorito shoulders kind.

Hi! I'm curious if a look like this is possible (yay ceremonial armor) with clothes layered under armour or is it easier to ask for a robe design that uses leather/metal comms.

Made primarily from glimmering steel, this set of field plate is designed to fit tightly to the curves of a feminine body when it is worn. Rather than being a full suit, it comes in three separate parts: breastplate, gauntlets and greaves. The burnished breastplate is small, and covers only the chest and ribcage when worn, leaving the midriff and upper arms bare. The layered plates of steel are curved outward, two cups formed to cover and accentuate the breasts when worn. Connected to the top of the breastplate is a metal collar to protect the neck and two massive steel pauldrons, each shaped like a quarter of a sphere. The pauldrons are embellished with gold and painted with fiery tones of red, orange and yellow tint, depicting symbols of the Templar guild. The edges of the pauldrons are studded with gold rivets. The gauntlets are slender, and cover the hand and forearm when worn. Wrapped around each forearm guard are several thin strips of silk, dyed a vibrant red and embroidered with white thread. The edges trail and flutter when the gauntlets are drawn through the air. The top plates of each gauntlet, over where the back of the hand would be, bear depictions of Gaudiguch's pyramids, embossed with solid gold. The greaves are made of layered plates, and cover only the legs from mid-thigh to the ankle when worn, leaving the hips and groin region bare, except for an upwards extension which covers the outer side of each hip. Strung across the apex of these two extensions is a white silk string, to which a trailing loincloth of red silk has been attached for the preservation of modesty. The two wide strips of cloth extend down to the gold-trimmed knee joints of the greaves, and the rear strip bears a hole in it to give room for a tail. The greaves do not cover the feet when worn, to give a less humanoid foot the freedom to move, or to allow the donning of boots or shoes.
Semiformal wear for men? Everything's either full evening suits or workin' in the dirt tunic/trousers.
Care to be more specific? I could definitely churn out some patterns in due time, but my work setting is all scrubs and I rarely get out. Semiformal is a terribly nebulous category too.
Also, greatrobe or highfashion category, assuming the possibility presents itself?

Agree with inquiries, are we looking for blazers and casual dress shirts or just less fancy/lighter-coloured suits?

Upon putting forth the effort, I realized that I don't really know how to make sexy man-clothes. But... enjoy, maybe?
Edit: might do more tomorrow/later this week if I have time.

Also, I love that so many of you have requested something I'd been leaning toward doing anyway. Will definitely go in that direction now. ^-^

I have plenty of empty tailoring slots for this year and no specific plans for them. What are people hungry for these days?

Is the layering described by Lerad's thread still in effect? Where does armor come in?
Edit: I've been informed armour (the effective, non-cosmetic piece) takes up NORMAL - chest, gut, arms, back but not legs, waist?

I think I like this one on Etsy the most. Protect the gut but still look pretty!
