Overhaul Trader Bob's Stock

I was browsing through Bob's stock to see what newbies are presented with these days. This is what I found:

The prices here are very high. I realize that this may be intended to encourage newbies to check out player shops, but no guidance on this is actually given anywhere in Bob's shop that I can see, and as such the newbies are left with overpriced goods to drain their funds. I suggest that the prices be reduced to be more in line with market prices.

Other things to consider:

- None of the current curatives are stocked; there is no restorative ice, purity dust, soothing steam, or lucidity slush for sale.

- Some outdated cures are stocked. I'm not 100% certain as to the status of the curing changeover, but it's my understanding that regeneration and mending salves have no purpose (and will be made obsolete shortly). That being the case, selling them for 1000 - 1700 gold per vial will strip newbies of their gold without giving them commensurate value.

- Standard items that newbies search for (like pipes, tinderboxes, and shovels) are not stocked.

Mending and regeneration salves are still in use in PVP, though you're right that it has no relevance to a newbie not engaging in it.

Or, for humor's sake, have Bob complain about how little custom he gets thanks to the Aetherplex, and give him an informative tirade you can trigger by asking about it. Like:

BUY VIAL

You buy a potion of mana (sapphire vial) from Trader Bob for 400gp.

Trader Bob says, "Thank you for your custom! I almost can't stay in business with the Aetherplex so close."

You ask, "What is the Aetherplex?"

Trader Bob spits in disgust.

Trader Bob says, "Pah! How's a body supposed to make a profit when everything he sells, someone else undercuts him not six steps from his door?"

Trader Bob grumbles, "A man builds an honest...ish...business, and They go and make a hub for all those fancy Aether manses down at the foot of his mountain. Just need to use the PORTAL to SEARCH for SHOPs that have <what you want>, and you have a whole list of places that'll cater to you."

[TIP]: You can PORTAL SEARCH SHOP <item> to get a list of every manse shop that sells the item you're after, often for much cheaper than Trader Bob's prices.

Trader Bob smiles at you and says, "But you'll always be a loyal customer, right?"

Just keep his stock updated with basic curatives, novice greys, etc. at a price that's steep, but not unreasonable for a learning experience or the lazy. Added bonus, doing so means orgs with low populations can't be completely starved for resources if they break off an alliance. Not that curatives are going to be hard to find anyway, given the resource glut from presents, curios, etc that give them away like pinatas.

Except for dingbat and goop items, I think the artifact shops are all Trader Bob's, yeah. If you WARES in the Arti shops, he should be the proprietor.
