I'm so jealous you have Charune back. Yay for active gods.
Avurekhos says, "Dylara's a PvP menace in my eyes, totes rekting face."
The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.

You review the design on a sorcelglass scroll with 4 uses left:
IMPORTANT: The main noun MUST use one of these: CUP, GLASS
Appearance:
a fractured skull cup of burnished iron
Dropped:
Left behind, a skull-shaped cup rests on the ground here.
Examined:
Meticulous work has seen to the raw details engraved upon a lump of
iron, its burnished hide bearing angles and contours just so that it
seems a perfect skull placed in one's hand. Cracked in a jagged fracture
across the cranium, the severe trauma leaves room for one to sip upon
the cup, though with much caution lest they cut their lip. Surprisingly
smooth inside the skull, the nose, eyes and mouth are covered so as not
to spill free the contents within. Instead the cup bears its revenge,
its iron hide doing nothing to prevent the extreme heat or cold of its
drink from permeating the bearer's flesh, merrily conducting as iron is
wont to do. A miniature greatsword rests within, allowing one to stir
the contents inside.
Now to fill it with the blood of my enemies. Much love to @Adal for this.

It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

@Aramel, @Tristanna, and @Kerith for OOC coming up with lisp-names for different characters and Gods. Autheklith seemed to produce some giggles, and I really appreciated the idea that @Thax's name is actually Sax, but he has a lisp.
So, Between hitting Demi and completing the first part of the Epic stuff, the good news is Luce probably no longer needs a bully to fix his body image issues. Maybe.
Those girls are surprisingly agile for underfed orphans.

You play a wailing, discordant chord on an ethereal cordate lyre of the Serenwilde, directing the
dissonant notes at Veyils.
The violent music rips Veyils asunder, whose lifeless corpse crumples to the ground.
You have slain Veyils.
Having been too much for the mortal threads of Veyils, she screams in agony as flames engulf her
body and burn it to a crisp.
LOOK GUYS I'M DEFENDING! @Saz ARE YOU PROUD!? @Sondayga ARE YOU PROUD TOO!?!?!

Rave for @Ianir and whoever else came up with allowing us to goop our previously non-goopable items, and all that entails.
Also a rave for a very surprising "Yes". No context forthcoming.

It could be one of at least four different upcoming things I know about, or something completely different. They have a lot of projects in the air and all apparently making pretty good progress.

This only serves to whet my curiosity, mister.
Tonight amidst the mountaintops And endless starless night Singing how the wind was lost Before an earthly flight
Well then, I am going to post an unrelated rave for newbies who have their stuff together from the get-go, who I can roleplay with right off the bat. Especially when they are already so much into the lore.
Come, my pretties, come!
(And never leave please)
Tonight amidst the mountaintops And endless starless night Singing how the wind was lost Before an earthly flight
Never really planned, originally, for Reylari to have so much stuff when I started playing here...
You purchase a volcanic phoenix-fire cameo (#93327) and it appears in your hands. Thanks @Kreon, @Maligorn, @Tarken, @Cauthorn for the help, and deal-making.
And every time I think I have a handle on how amazing it is, I discover something else!
I wanted a place where I could craft, have my own space in the Mud, and play an adorable creature.
Furrikins, manses, and tradeskills. Need I say more?
Now I'm discovering even more things that intrigue me.
Curio animals?
Nature preserve?
Games?
The writing in this world is incredible, and I can't say that for a lot of Muds. I spent a lot of time online, searching for a place like this. I don't know if it's just low-key advertising or what, but I had no idea there was so much to Lusternia!
I appreciate that there are other ways to excel, than just killing things. That's a huge plus for me.
I will say that it's fairly intimidating to get into a game as complex as Lusternia, just because there is so much to read and learn. I don't know what to prioritize, and I bet I could spend months reading, and not know all there is to know about this land. But I am trying to take notes, so that hopefully my RP and writing will rise to the level that is so obvious in this world.
Seriously, whoever created furrikins is my spirit animal.

Great game!
humans breed with -everyone- some human traits = human ancestry somewhere. viscanti breed with anyone too.
shaddus has many alts. so we are all shaddus (old in joke)
welcome to the basin.
best way to fit in:
combat, influence, craft (hallifax - win awards), write well - make good rp. (all can be forgiven for this OOC-wise)
we also adore pun based humour.
