I just finished that new quest that gets you the line "She has retraced the final steps of the Poet Toledil's most loyal friend." And as a Seren bard, it makes me really want to form up a Farirue crew.

It's amazing how quickly an hour goes by when you're watching Duet of Discord as opposed to, say, upgrading a domoth.

Then why, pray tell did Pys have to order the execution? Oh, because Lil EMOTED slapping Bandrui, after Bandrui carried out his order to have Saraa executed after telling her virtually nothing about what a Seren hearing apparently looks like nowadays.
Trying to argue emoting slapping isn't an attack is an OOC Meta argument. Also, I was informed by the Circle that it had been handled and you had been told. Regardless, Bandrui does not JUST execute, as the post also clearly states, but good on you for rushing here to try and continue your victimisation.

Some denizens will attack in response to rude emotes. Others will not, and require a ruler to ask them to 'read the bones'
Emotes are actions, they are things you are doing in the game. Remember, this is a roleplaying game, you are playing a role and you are given the ability to emote to enhance your roleplay. Actions, whether they are emotes or more mechanical actions, have consequences.
Forgot about this earlier, but I'm very used to missing out on flares/revolts and having those occur while I'm at work. This is now the third revolt in a row that's happened right when I've time for it, so that's pretty nice for a change of pace too.

Started election for Serenwilde forging cartel TM.
Immediately got distracted and flexed into Hartstone for other things.
Flexed back into Serenguard/forging to see the election hadn't been killed and was still going.
So apparently that's a chain of events that's totally kosher. Useful to keep in mind for future reference.
