I'm afraid House of Xenthos is going to smash the kitty

I'm working on a display/technique practice cake that I'm not quite ready to show off (and probably won't finish for a few weeks), but here's a preview.

Reminds me of Starship Titanic!
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.
Noah's ark! (I did not sculpt the animals, but I painted them. Everything else was me.)
And here's another preview of my special project.
I'm trying to only work on it after store hours since it's just for my own enjoyment/practice, and usually I'm too tired after work to mess with it. So it's taking forever.
I lost my phone for a few days this week, so unfortunately I only have one hasty, slightly blurry shot from my cashier of these lovingly hand-painted memes. We didn't even get a picture of the finished cake.
For some reason I thought of @Casilu while making these.
It's finally finished! Initially I was just making a little Okamiden out of fondant because I think he's cute, but then I felt compelled to make a cake for him. Now it's just styrofoam inside, of course, but everything else is hand-painted fondant and white chocolate.
I'm particularly proud of the dragon because I didn't have to trace anything (as I often do when replicating specific logos or characters). He's more or less an original.
Jimmy Buffett doesn't really flip my switch, but eh. This was a team effort.
Passport to Tastytowne. I could make passport stamps all day. They're really fun. And if you mess up, you just smudge it a little and it looks like it was intentional. :>
I'd actually never heard of him until today. The customer only wanted one, but I couldn't decide on a pose so I'll just let them have all of them. Now, if someone wants an Arcanine....
EDIT: Oh, I don't know my memes either, apparently.

@Daraius, I always jump straight to this thread first if I see it has new posts in the recent discussions list. You should make this posting amazing eat-work thing a daily occurrence.
Tonight amidst the mountaintops And endless starless night Singing how the wind was lost Before an earthly flight
I'll do my best, but I only work four days a week and our cake orders are usually concentrated on the weekend! I guess I could share some of my earliest attempts...
This was the first cake I ever attempted to cover and decorate with fondant. It was shortly after I got my job at the cupcake shop and before we were even sold cakes in-store, so I did this in my home kitchen. I spent literally the entire day on it because, apart from the actual baking and frosting, I had no idea what I was doing. Note the ridiculously lumpy top tier. :-q
This was my first ever custom decoration order, which was also shortly after I got the job - before I ever would have considered calling myself a decorator, and before we even really offered custom decorated cupcakes. I was just a bakery assistant back then, and I remember these took me foreeeeeeever to make. These days it'd be like a ten minute project.
I hadn't ever clicked on this this, actually, because I for some reason assumed it was just a discussion of cake recipes. I am glad I finally opened it, because these are insane.
