While digging through some stuff in my house and spring-cleaning in the middle of autumn, I happened across a flashdrive with random junk on it. Mostly plugins and pictures and videos, but there were quite a few text files. I happened across Pesukaru's submission for the contest to release Gullagumbah's Voice and open the Minstrels, and thought I'd share it. As memory serves, I barely lost out to Tetra's song by one vote.
Revelry
Smoke and fire, and life's desire,
makes Gaudiguch the place to be!
There's weed and whiskey, and pretty women
dancing in the streets!
We live our lives as the Gods intended,
Free as life should be!
We laugh, we fight, we drink it up,
We riot in the streets!
The mystics dance their dervish whirls,
resinous smoke curls around their feet.
The pyramids, they shine so bright,
like stars just off the streets.
The dracnari Tzaraziko, her statue stands;
heralding our Freedom's return.
Scuchidira showed us how to live,
Love, and dance, and burn!
So in their honour does Gaudiguch stand,
of stone and whiskey built.
Our only law the One Law;
Love is the Law; Love under Will.
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
