Raves to the Admin for adding Dramaturgy and for working hard overall to add new things for us to play with and to enhance our Lusternian experience! Thank you.

It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
Most gods don't just give avatar to every demigod in their order.

Made 300K on roulette today. Even if I did forget that I was logged in.
The Crystal Wheel.
Banks of clouds roil about here. Bintu Goldfeather struts about, running his gold watch-chain
through his fingers. An opulent roulette wheel lies here horizontally, tempting those with a taste
for risk. Zephyr Kialkarkea Diodorus is here. She wields a frosted weather balloon in her left hand.
You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.

Bintu Goldfeather says, "No more bets!" and gives the wheel a good spin. The ball begins to smoothly
spin around the wheel.
4974h, 6093m, 6037e, 10p, 18245en, 23225w BesSix-
The ball starts to bounce around wildly on the wheel, giving you no idea where it will stop.
4974h, 6093m, 6037e, 10p, 18245en, 23225w BesSix-
The ball finally settles down on 27 (black).
Bintu Goldfeather exclaims to you, "We have a winner! You've won 1750000 gold!" The stakes for your
winning bets are returned to you, along with your winnings.

There's patterns(unless i'm imagining things). For instance, if you see a number hit twice in a row, there's a good chance it will hit a third time soon.

I've got a big list of roulette spins, and I tested some supposed patterns some time ago (and found none of them actually worked). That pattern is a new one though; I'll see if I can dig my code up and check it out (alternatively recode it).
Ended up recoding it, and I couldn't really find any pattern in it myself based on the 7000 spins I have numbers of from 2010. I'd gladly send the numbers to someone who wants to check it for themselves though.
I've lost gods know how many times, but I did have one spin once where I got roughly 780,000 gold, recouping some of my losses =p
That being said, you can't help but feel that the roulette is rigged at times, this is going back quite some time now, but I remember once I tested it with roughly 50 spins of small amounts of gold purely doing red/black bets, I got maybe 2 wins, every other time when I chose black it came up red (I'd do 10 consecutive spins of black and have them all come up red, then I'd do 10 consecutive spins of red and have them all come up black)
Never put passion before principle. Even if you win, you lose.
If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?
If vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?
Yay for people from other organizations being willing to talk to/approach Marcella. I like roleplaying with people who don't pretty much agree with everything I say sometimes.
You get down on one knee and, while holding forth an avian wedding band of morning-gold filigree, you declare your eternal love for Allyrianne, and ask her to marry you.
Allyrianne, with a look of utter joy on her face, accepts your proposal of marriage.
Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.

Heh, was wondering if anyone would recognize the quotes!

With great powers comes considerable pain.
Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.
