It's so nice when a revolt happens when I'm around and can take part.
Discerning the desires of Chevalier Tristan de Gaulle, you press him to acknowledge that only in Hallifax will he find accord with his many needs. Chevalier Tristan de Gaulle slaps his knee and declares that, by the gods, the Village of Delport should follow the Grand Province of Hallifax after all! Shouts rise up from the Village of Delport, as its denizens loudly pledge themselves to the Grand Province of Hallifax.
Also, first time with that too. Huzzah.
Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.
You proselytise to Lady Cecelia, Countess of Stewart of how New Celest protects those who walk under the radiance of the Light. Lady Cecelia, Countess of Stewart slaps her knee and declares that, by the gods, the Village of Stewartsville should follow the Holy Principality of New Celest after all! Shouts rise up from the Village of Stewartsville, as its denizens loudly pledge themselves to the Holy Principality of New Celest.
That was a fun one for me, really had to fight tooth and nail for her (>30 minutes for one villager..). Massive raves to everyone involved! Village revolts always have a special place in my heart.
EveriineWise Old Swordsbird / BrontaurIndianapolis, IN, USA
@Yvonari, for being an exceptional protege already, and for an awesome, long RP session!
Everiine is a man, and is very manly. This MAN before you is so manly you might as well just gender bend right now, cause he's the manliest man that you ever did see. His manly shape has spurned many women and girlyer men to boughs of fainting. He stands before you in a manly manerific typical man-like outfit which is covered in his manly motto: "I am a man!"

Pony power all the way, yo. The more Brontaurs the better.
"Chairwoman," Princess Setisoki states, holding up a hand in a gesture for her to stop and returning the cup. "That would be quite inappropriate. One of the males will serve me."
Golly, my bad. I guess it's because my character is just so gregarious and openly affectionate that people just flock to Hallifax. I'll tone it down a little.

Oh yes Daraius is the peak of huggles, giggles and sunshine.
Thank you to everyone for being so quick to help and making Lusternia a fun place to explore, putting up with my bazillion questions and agreeing to watch plays
Raves to everyone in Glomdoring, particularly @Tacita, @Vumiri@Camberre, @Astraea, @Athree and @Arcanis.
This headstrong young manticore is the product of fine breeding, but caught in the throes of adolescence. He stumbles about with paws too large for his current weight, while his half-developed wings weigh down his lanky body. The beginnings of a mane have started at his neckline. As if angry at the world, he snarls at most anything that comes his way, revealing rows of growing crystalline teeth. A funny looking stump marks where his tail should be.
This is a bit late, but I really do find Battlechess fun
Yes, some people get frustrated because chess strategy doesn't really play into Battlechess, but that's what makes it unique in my opinion. There's some lame stuff with just running around surviving, but it's an element of the game to take advantage of the attacking bonus. It's definitely a fun unique twist to the norm that could maybe use playing a few more times a year, but not a dramatic amount so.
I really thought in that last game against Celest there was some good baiting, piece sacrificing to take out prominent people (like @Yurika/@Azula for @Shuyin).
I think it's fun and different enough.
Now, just make trueheal/serpent/greaterpentagram/bubble/fleshstone not work in battlechess.
I think this was the first real battlechess tournament I had a chance to play in, and I thought it was great!
So who won?
It was Celest vs Gaudiguch in the finals, and it was a pretty well-played match. Gaudiguch won in the end!
Must have been fun to watch, What happened to Glomdoring?
Glomdoring and Serenwilde didn't have anyone to compete so they became disqualified. It was Celest vs. Magnagora and Gaudiguch vs. Hallifax in the first round.
