if you spent that much you are not buying it in the right place!
The soft, hollow voice of Nocht, the Silent resounds within your mind as His words echo through the aether, "Congratulations, Arimisia. Your mastery of vermin cannot be disputed."

Discussing an education reform's quite entertaining. I'm enjoying myself.
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Cyndarinused Flamethrower! It was super effective.
I've had the pleasure of playing with some pretty fantastic gods with @Shikari and @Nocht, but @Viravain has brought back memories of Fain and why I was drawn to RP and playing the game originally. It's nostalgic and wonderful. For those that know how awesome Fain was back in the day, you know there are fewer higher compliments I could give!

I do not even know where to start. Just saying 'all of you' again doesn't cut it this time.
Svorai, first of all and obviously most importantly, is fabulous and fantastic and had me crying within a few seconds of the whole thing starting. Thank you so much for doing all the organising and things at an awfully early time for a weekend and whilst you had other stuff on.
Since Svorai had set the 'Tacita sits at her laptop and cries solidly for an hour' tone, Karlach ploughed straight down that road with an (on my part) entirely unexpected speech that I really appreciated both on an IC and OOC level. The 'turn into a PvP beast!' pressure is the main reason I fled from the prospect of VAdom in the past, and it means a huge amount that people have my back in terms of not forcing me to be a character/player that I am not and don't want to be
Then we got into the rituals themselves, and I'm going to screw up the order of these but that is purely out of tiredness: so I pretty much knew that whatever Celina came up with was a) certainly not going to involve snogging me like Mork's ascension did and b) wouldn't be pleasant in the slightest. But dude. I have been blessed with the greatest nemesis ever. I cannot emphasise how awesome Celina was (there will be log evidence when sleep has been had).
I've always loved the Nekotai ritual for VAs which Janalon wrote, but I've never actually seen the version of it that Rialorm performed, because it's tertiary-specific - it is epically awesome, and I strongly suggest everyone take the time to read it in detail. Thank you so much Ria for staying up obnoxiously late to perform it.
The Blacktalon were equally awesome, and I understand Aerdiya is to thank for their amazing ritual - which despite some technical issues was beautiful. The rituals are my favourite part of raising VAs, and this was a really good reminder of why. It's great to see all the teachings that we often have as backgrounds become centre stage. Thank you to all of the Blacktalon who helped perform it! Special mention to Aerdiya again for going above and beyond to ensure that she could be there for it - I hope the muffins were a yummy reward
I'm so glad the Harbingers and Ebonguard basically got to go together, because it was a really fitting end to it for me. Eliron and the Harbingers came up with an amazing take on not just the guild tenets but a lot of things that are big points about Tacita's character and that made it so meaningful for me. That it synergised with an overall blood-related theme was even better. Then having so many of the guild there was the icing on the already very delicious cake. And what VA ritual would be complete without being beaten to a pulp by the Ebonguard?
I'm also really touched that Shikari turned up to watch - in general the sheer number of people who took the time to attend had me utterly gobsmacked, so thank you so much to every single person who was there - and also to all the people who sent me tells and messages of congratulations (even and especially Sidd ). I'm sorry I didn't reply to many/all of you.
I spent most of the thing shaking so much with excitement and anxiety and disbelief at the fact that this was all happening that it was really hard to keep emoting at points. Hopefully I managed not to screw up copying and pasting any of the stuff I'd prepared, or the stuff I was throwing out on the fly! I'm sure I've forgotten people but I promise you that is purely because it is 3am and I am utterly knackered, not because you are not precious and wonderful and special and awesome.
I want to try and articulate how much this has meant to me OOC, but it's really hard to articulate just how much of a difference the community support has made to me. It's not just made me happy and proud and crying and all sorts of things - it's done an awful lot to challenge a lot of the icky and horrible stuff in my brain, and that is worth more than any one night of happiness and excitement. I don't think there's any such thing as the perfect VA and I certainly don't expect to be one, but I hope and will try to repay back to Glom's community the good that they have all done for me.
I have now fulfilled the annual quota of sap, you may resume bitching.

You haven't been innocent since that one time I caught you in Paavik with Annabelle with an enlarge enchantment and a half - dozen gnome corpses.

She had the enlarge enchantment, and you were the one with the gnome corpses

Stop that thought right now.
The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations, Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."
You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!
Oh, sorry.
