We have implemented the 10 level buff system from the prior thread. Please test in the arena and give us feedback here. Remember, if we get no feedback, we'll assume everyone is fine with it and make it live.
PvE doesn't work at the moment, and some of the defenses aren't right (for example, Nightkiss is at 1/10 instead of 2/10). In addition, regeneration seems to be pretty off (especially mana regeneration).
However, you can still test damage, defenses, see how you can manipulate the levels, etc. Once you're in, BODYSCAN is your friend.
It appears that the racial malus is instead buffing me. Which, I don't mind, honestly. But...probably not intended.
And, while I don't mind the super buffs from curios, pretty sure they aren't all supposed to be 10/7. Tested with multiple damage enhancement curios that enhance one type. Don't have access to two type curios.
Somehow, it seems the caps are one higher than they should be. In your curio example, the highest cap you have is 7, and yet you cap out at 8. As for fire, you've got a cap of 10, and cap out at 11. Funky.
EDIT: That's also the case in the first example; you've got a cap at 7, and manage to get 8.

Cyndarinused Flamethrower! It was super effective.
I'm really concerned that maybe the cap isn't high enough. On the one hand, as an SD I'm losing 20% or more in some areas, and how much my damage is going to skyrocket when everyone's resistance drops.
If damage is adjusted to fit the new system (As it looks) then this looks rather well done.
Still want to move things like dodge over to general resistance instead of a die roll that stops potentially everything.
Good results, other than a couple hiccups. Props to admin for a smooth system and forseeing some potential issues.
Edit: Lerad is already envoying tattoos to have an effect for tattooists, so will see what this puts things at in the overall (overhaul har har) scheme of things. Dodging we will then look at, I think most would prefer damage reduction over random chance to fail an attack. Presumably if dodging went away, foresight would get the same effect as a time limited version, and tripleflash would eitehr be the only dodging or would make you super tanky briefly? No idea. Will consult
I like this. Generally it seems to work fine apart from the bugs noted above. Are the universal and specific defs worked out separately and then added together? That might be why they seem to go over the cap.
My defences pretty much halve. I've a few concerns about how that'll affect PvE balance but it's probably livable. Changing defences depending on what you're facing will be more important (and more interesting) now. Could there be a new toggleable discernment skill that appends the damage type of a mob attack to its attack line? Some attack types aren't very clear.
We've lost poison damage resistance from resilience too. Maybe there could be a passive skill halfway up to add 1/5 poison resistance and another at trans to raise it to 2/5.
After some testing, it looks like the direct conversion from anything pre-Overhaul that's >=21 DMP translating to 10 Max is correctly applied. Anything at or around 20 got converted to 8 Max, and the general things tiered correctly.
Thematic pushes for x-skill to be appropriate 9's or 10's will probably go to the Envoys now, but before that, a few things are broken:
Not so much broken, but typo: Galvanism is misspelled on Bodyscan Resistances.
Curio Resistances are up to 3/7 instead of the 1/7 (split typing) and 2/7 (non-split typing) apparently planned. Please confirm if intentional.
Curio Buffs are currently 10/7 instead of matching curio resistances, apparently.
According to Bodyscan Regen, I have the Skinrot in the arena that's -4/-4. I dunno how that happened, but it muddles with regen testing.
Faelings have a level 2 forest regen for health and mana, but it didn't look like wyrden forest was enabling it in the arena. I can't test with sylvan forest, but could be bugged and not applied either.
Very much appreciating the logs so far, thank you! If anyone else has logs, or can supply exact details in regards to how their offensive bonuses and DMP have both been altered in this buff overhaul, I'd be very much interested to have the comparisons.
Logs are again preferred, while I appreciate not everyone would have logged such things, please ensure any numbers supplied through anecdotal evidence are accurate.
The totals are not adding up to what I assume should be correct, since it doesn't look like the Universals are being applied to individual resistances. I may be wrong in my understanding of the system, of course, but it can't help to point it out for clarification.
Also, @Ieptix, could we add % total resistance on the BODYSCAN SUMMARY menus, please? I'm lazy and don't want to keep multiplying by 3% for each level.
So I did some testing with @Tarkenton, and we found that things that were supposed to increase damage (such as curio damage buffs, sensitivity, negative astro spheres) were actually decreasing damage, and things that were supposed to reduce damage (curio resistance buffs, positive astro spheres) were increasing damage.
Unfortunately I forgot to log. Hopefully Tarkenton can provide the logs of his pov.
Definitely looks to me like someone flipped a negative sign somewhere, since as my damage resistance increased, I took more damage, and vice versa when it decreased. Same with damage buffing. Sensitivity, for instance, ended up causing less damage.

Looks like damage is lessened in the Overhaul arena, but minorsixth with egovice/manabarbs stayed the same (neat).
Problem with racial regen, think it was coded in as a degen; Shedrin was losing mana bad and got to literally below 0 mana.
Achromatic Aura (minorseventh) did NOT amplify magic damage vs Shedrin.
Curios seem to be mislabeled.
