    I was strongly expecting questions from recent events, such as Mornhai, Nemach, mushrooms, brownies, as it seems most quizzes would gather questions from recent occurrences. Does anyone remember the quiz after the Gnafia event? I think there were 3 gnafia questions.

    At the very least, that one probably should have said which instance of it they wanted to know about. I'd agree that it "prevented" made it sound a lot more like the gnafia event than the sugarplum one, but I can see how they could have meant the sugarplum sprites. Ambiguity is bad.
    Any sufficiently advanced pun is indistinguishable from comedy.

    As did I. But at the same time, I am glad he did, and didn't get the last question right. Because of it, I managed to get fifth.

    I also completely missed the whole 'beings' part of the question in the Jolly one. I just read "what prevented Jolly and ..." and was rather confused at why the answer was the sugerplum fae until I read the question...

    I consider Cosmic Hope and Elder Wars to be entry level lore that all players should be familiar with. They're fundamental to understanding the game world and equally accessible to everyone, so I'm glad to see questions in the Knowledge challenge from those every year. It also means a newbie fresh out of the portal could presumably have had the same chance as an old veteran at getting the fruit juice or emerald powder questions right. I just like the idea of that. :)
