Hallifax has never objected to slavery in any form, so we're cool with that. Gaudi is presumably ok with it because it's consensual servitude.
Fair enough. I suppose Celest takes that view. I doubt anyone in Glomdoring will like the idea of an auction though.

This paranoia 'fix' needs changed back to how paranoia was. Paranoia has functioned the same way since the beginning of time and suddenly it was 'fixed' to work as intended which actually makes it even stronger...

Good revolt all around. Helped Estelbar win Serenwilde Serenwilde win Estelbar and did a fair bit of shattering. Today was an excellent day.

  • I'm pretty sure I just got a vision when I illdrained something. Wow!
A horde of beings swarms about Your bulk. They are diverse in shape but are, without exception, horrific to look upon. Claws and teeth without number flash across Your vision, and nebulous masses of compound eyes and writhing tentacles and spindly antennae all twist around You. With the merest thought, You open wide Your maw and lazily swallow one.

I don't know if Daraius is capable of that line of thinking! Dim-eyed disapproval of a Gaudi apologist is one thing, but active suspicion of a Marquis and a Minister and a Shevat...  No way!

Write that book, though. Would be super helpful for a guy with terrible truth-sense.

I wonder if ever the story and even area of Jojobo would be released. I'd love to know what happened with them after all those years and how they were able to survive, let alone have a community.
  • I feel like Jojobo will be a giant bashing area akin to Lirangsha and Icewynd (and thus involved in an Ascension event) more than a possible org. Outside the Basin + Corrupted Sun leads me to believe this.

I hope not....I'd be quite sad to see that Jojobo had been reduced to that.

I most definitely agree Jojobo will never be an org. The chances of 2 more orgs ever appearing in Lusternia are slim to none. I would however still enjoy knowing what did happen to it
  • What is/are Jojobo?
(serious question, history is not my forte :()

  • Jojobo is a legendary jungle said to be somewhere out on the surface of Lusternia outside the Basin of Life - obviously in an equatorial area- filled with druids who worshipped the Sun spirit, Father Sun. Also, it's supposedly super-Aslaran in demographic.
  • Well, I thought it was more like Sundancers and Lion Druids, but yeah.

We would think that, but during the ecology event the druid that came from Jojobo (or presumably from Jojobo) was titled "Keeper of the Dawn." It raises some neat questions if we have druids that are Sun-followers. Like, where is Lion in all this?

Woah woah, let's not jump to presumptions here. I recall @Estarra (correct me if im wrong) replying to this suggestion in the past stating something along the lines that that impression was not what they were going for.
  • KarlachKarlach God of Kittens.
If Jojobo gets released as a giant bashing area, we'd spend most of our time lighting up deathsights.

X has succumbed to the sheer power of the Aslaran master race.

The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "Congratulations, Morkarion, you are the Bringer of Death indeed."

You see Estarra the Eternal shout, "Morkarion is no more! Mourn the mortal! But welcome True Ascendant Karlach, of the Realm of Death!

Im not sure if you're actually thinking you are correcting something or attempting to paraphrase a statement Esty said in the past....but yes it was along the lines of a "Sun Druid" which was said to have been a small error. Again, if that is what was intended, then sure...but wouldnt make much sense.
  • That isn't a paraphrase, it's...it's the literal quote in response to the comment thread which is quite easy to follow, imo. You were actually the one paraphrasing twice over, while we have yet to see anything of the Sun-related druid having been a mistake of some kind.

    Just sayin!

Ah, that wasnt very clear...at all. It was a statement placed as is (this is why mention of the citation itself is asked in reports). Looking through logs, it seems he was in fact a Sun Druid, but I could have sworn I once read somewhere that that wasnt what was intended, perhaps im wrong. Anywho, moving on

So, is the Cririk from the Taint Wars in the histories supposed to be the same Cririk who refounded Hallifax? I ask because he's "Cr’rik" in the histories by "Cririk" everywhere that I can find in game.

Have you ever tried to make a character in game with an apostrophe in their name? /hides
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.

  • Hm. How do I go about offering someone credits for writing a desc? Too lazy/bad at writing my own. So sad
