@Saoirse obviously join Magnagora. Nothing but excitement when all your old citymates are holding a blade at your throat
Hmm I don't really enjoy killing and being killed
Perhaps Hallifax were you can embrace the notion of harmony (and possibly neutrality?). Lots of rp there and you can easily and logically avoid pk if you prefer!

While it would likely be best to avoid hopping to your current org's mortal enemies if you wanted to minimize the chances of people wanting to stab you, the good news is that you can live a relatively peaceful existence in any organization.
I'd pick where you want to move to based on how intriguing you find the environment. Perhaps there's a Divine you'd like to get to know better, a foreign character you like talking to, or a skillset you think is cool? If you have something you want to explore that's specific to where you are moving, it can make the process of org-hopping a lot smoother. That's been my approach when I move my characters around, and it's worked well for me so far. Follow your heart! And remember, as long as you don't burn many bridges on your way out, moving back is always possible.
How much credits does one need to flex? Also I'm trans bonecrusher/tracking would it be wise to go monk? What do I need as a monk in skills?
Without the Tam/Cord, you need the lessons to flex each way (I believe it's 25 per for small skills and 50 for full?), plus the lessons to get to an effective level in your new guild. For Tracker to Monk, that's BoneCrusher>Knighthood>(empty)>Kata>Ninjakari/Nekotai/Tahtetso/Shofangi, then Tracking>Hunting>(empty)>Stealth/Harmony, and Athletics>(empty)>Acrobatics/Psionics(+Psychometabolism). You classflex once all three are empty. High/Lowmagic won't matter, but if you've taken Forging you'll need to forget it too.
You can, but need permission and won't be able to use power moves from the guild-specialisation. See: @Daraius, the Hallifaxian Tahtetso. Nekotai are not going to grant you that permission, nor are either Harmony guild if you're still in Mag.
I initially got all my Tahtetso skills as an actual member of the guild and Celest (sans the last two power moves, since I wasn't going to have access to Pool of Stars power after moving back to Hallifax), but I did have to (stupidly, imho) skillflex Tahtetso in order to select tattoos later on.
He should ask Tau or Athree. They might tell him no, but they are actual guild leaders of the Nekotai.
Admittedly policy may have been changed since the last time my alt was in the Nekotai.
The scroll about classflexing in Glom says you're right.
Avurekhos says, "Dylara's a PvP menace in my eyes, totes rekting face."
The eye of Dylara materialises in your hands and flings itself around your neck, tightening incomprehensibly until it is irremovable. Perfectly clean, this eyeball has been wrenched from the socket of Dylara. It has been animated by some unusual force, constantly looking around itself as if in shock or fear. It is bathed in a light covering of white flames that roll endlessly over its surface. A single chain of empyreal metal pierces either side of the eye, allowing it to be worn around the neck.

Thanks for the advice! I barely have any time to log in or do things in game but I do miss playing! I don't want to get overwhelmed by too many positions and duties though... I'll prolly start by finding something interesting or perhaps some interesting people to interact with (and by that I mean people willing to drag me around while I learn or relearn stuffs >.>) .

I'm hoping the answer is yes (but it's probably not ), I'm a Moondancer currently flexed into Spiritsinger and I want to learn Dramaturgy and maybe tinkering or brewmeister. Can I learn those skills from someone other than a Spiritsinger? Or am I stuck learning from them because of flexing?
I understand primary skills sure, but shared skills?
Hi there! I have a few questions, as I'm pondering retiring my current characters in Achaea to join ya'll in Lusternia.
(Combat Related)
How is the PK scene over here? I'm very interested in participating in combat, but don't want to get frustrated if there's not much going on.
Are there any artifacts or items which are necessary to participate in upper-end combat? I'm by no means an expert combatant, but I'd like to be. I have a modest amount of credits, and will be purchasing the no-brainer packages for sure.
Is there server-side curing within Lusternia, or is it required to have a proper client-side system? Achaea currently has serverside curing, and it's a pretty amazing boon.
If client-side curing is required, are there any readily available systems?
(Non-combat related)
How difficult is it to achieve Demigod? I'm certain it will be a goal for myself.
Are there any artifacts or other items which are deemed too helpful to pass up for hunting?
How difficult is it to find meaningful roleplay? I've heard that's what Lusternia really has going for it. I'm not a strong roleplayer in the slightest, but would definitely like to try to learn!
Are there any factional alliances? Achaea is very "every org for themselves."
I've heard that Lusternia's population is on the low side. Does this have a meaningful effect on the game itself? Achaea is very quantity over quality.
Combat is low at the moment. Not nearly as much as Achaea has. You can find some if you want, but it may end up being pretty one sided.
Artifacts certainly help, but not to the same extent as they do in Achaea. There are no artifact weapons etc. You can be successful without them, they just help lower that bar. Especially if you can survive
No server-side curing. As he did with Svo in Achaea, m&mf was made open-source by Vadi. It's not quite up to date with the latest batch of changes, but it hopefully will be soon. It's free and I think it's quite good (I use it)
Demigod can be as easy or difficult as you want it. Can aetherhunt your way there, influence, or bash.
Hunting artifacts would be a divinus whip. Best hunting damage type in the game. Most people have one.
Roleplay will depend where you are. It's not found a lot in Gaudiguch at the moment, but can be really great anywhere else
Alliances is 3v3, the 3 North orgs vs the 3 South orgs. the low population makes it tough to be 'every org for itself'
The low population does have an effect, but not on the quality. I think the quality is quite high.
Rapid fire, through the lens that I'm a non-com by all accounts that matter.
PK happens, but it's primarily group focused, and can be hard to find depending on where you live both RL and IG. If you join an org not known for having people who defend while you're around and actually do so, you will find a LOT of PvP, and if you get gut or even get mediocre, you will earn respect fast.
Artifacts: Yes, depending on class, but not as much as it used to be. Some are so useful as to nearly be required, such as a nose if you don't have Totems, or a cubix/torus/bubblix/orgbix to get you out of situations that get a little too hairy for you. Others are more useful than they appear at first blush, like the Fesix Bandolier and artifact vials, pipes, and soap. You will be best served asking a respecting PKer in your org/guild for which artifacts you want, and when.
Do note, there are certain skills you need before you should be spending credits on anything, and certain artifacts that it's wise to get before finishing up all of your lessons. Ask around once you've chosen your class and secondary/tertiary skills.
There is technically server-side curing, but using it requires and consumes balances that you'd be better served using to cure yourself or fight back. That said, at least one free system is built around the server side curing commands.
There is a fairly powerful system available for Mudlet for free called m&mf. You'll need/want to tweak it to your class and your opponents once you get into the highest end of PvP, but once you have it set up and learn how to survive in general, it will keep you alive through a surprising amount of abuse.
Demigod is a grind, but people with a lot of know-how have gotten it in less than a weekend, and if you can line up your buffs and skills right it's entirely possible to get from 1-100 in a month, tops. On the other end of the spectrum there are characters who've been around and active for years who are still in the 90s.
Whips are amazing for covering damage types your attacks can't normally hit, and just in general, but aren't required. There are (again) skills that are indispensable, such as Planar's Rift, Liquidrift, Conglutination, and the various planar transit skills, your primary skill's second attack type for non-knights (though knights still want as much as they can get in their primary skill for other reasons), etc. and again, nose, soap, pipes, vials, etc. are never a bad idea.
Special mention goes to influencing, which is a slow but safe(ish) way to level up that doesn't involve killing denizens. If you want to pursue that, there are a few artifacts that can boost your influencing considerably, or provide stronger incentives for doing so. Special mention goes to the Mask of Esteemed Beauty, the Empowering and Charity runes, and the Scarecrow hat. Skills for influencing are Influencing up to at least your third technique (transcending this REALLY helps), Dramatics up to at least Vagabond, and Beastmastery up to the influence boosting skills. Some archetypes have other skills that either directly or indirectly help as well.
I'm given to understand Lusternia's definition of meaningful roleplay is much different than Achea's, but if you look for it, you can find it.
Alliances occasionally shift a bit, but it's nearly always 3 org vs 3 org. Currently Celest, Serenwilde, and Hallifax vs. Magnagora, Glomdoring, and Gaudiguch.
Lusternia's population is on the low side. This means that we have fewer people and therefore you can make a name for yourself if you stand out, and we're not afraid to name and shame to bring troublemakers in-line if their actions are egregious. On the other hand, if certain people change factions or quit/alt, it can throw the game's economy for a loop for a bit.
What artifacts should a person with a focus in combat and hunting purchase first? I've already heard of the divinus whips, and plan on getting one very soon.
It seems the transplanar cubix is similar to Achaea's wings, though the 2000cr is a fairly steep price to pay. Is it as necessary as wings in Achaea (if anyone is able to draw a parallel there)?
Certain curio sets and quest rewards give you other fast transport items you can get without spending credits, and with m&mf and speedwalking you can get just about anywhere fast enough by foot.
It's nice yes, but I don't think it's necessary. Plus if during the big Ascension event every year you can potentially win a cubix+ artifact (called a Seal)
I would recommend a Rune of Absorption, it'll benefit you in both hunting/combat
