The only reason Mag "dislikes" kephera is Fain 2.0's weak return story-arc where an elder god was somehow imprisoned behind the psychic web. Tainted, twisted cannibalistic kephera could totally be an interesting rp.

I know, I was like 'We should unban kephera, it's not like merians or elfens who Fain hates'. And then I was told 'No, actually, it's cause He hates them.'

Cyndarinused Flamethrower! It was super effective.
o Demigod: Trait: Chitinous hide. Grants the Kephera armour equivalent to splendours. Kephera specialised in tattoos can further enhance this armour to be equivalent to full tattoo armour. This bonus is lost should the Kephera wear any other armour.

Not taking sides or anything here but...everyone always argues that interfering with quests is entirely legitimate for RP reasons. I don't see why that would be any different for a traitor to Magnagora.
It does suck having your quests messed with, sure. But then, if we never had reasons to dislike each other, the game would be incredibly boring.

People have been interfering with org epics since org epics became a thing.

It's also perfectly legitimate to express frustrations when your work is interfered with like that. Especially when (assuming if I've got my info right) we're talking about having an extremely long quest like the hand of Tzaraziko ruined by having the actual hand stolen and destroyed.
Anyway, if it truly *is* the hand that's been destroyed then that will leave the quest bugged yeah. It happened to me in the past. Bug it. One of the admins should be able to enable the hand to pop back up in the desert once more.
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Oh thank the gods that I'm not at that part yet, I'd have cried. She took Kl'aet's orb of tempestuous winds and then two hours later he still wouldn't respond to attempts to make another, still thinking it was in my possession.

Ah... isn't that the orb that as soon as you get you have to put it straight into the pedestal though? I... have to admit I'm curious how you ended up losing that. Not that this is the time and place for it.
In that case though, Taroch should eventually reset, so you can do the quest over again. Alternatively, do the Gaudi side and then do the Halli side. That'll reset it for sure, and give you an extra vernal piece. >-

Any tips for fighting bards? I'm constantly outrifting earwort and eating it when I can, and I have reflexes set to fix things like manabarbs when they show up, but I wind up bleeding to death once I run out of mana to clot the enormous blood loss.
Love potion. Admittedly smart bards can employ aleutian and keep themselves deaf, but that does mean they have to give up some buffs.
If they're stacking too many aurics in octave, hold off on earwort (or eq) until you have balance, then shield and earwort at the same time to buy yourself some breathing space.
Pfifth only works while they're in the room and you're undeaf. You can either earwort and move all at once (stratagems let you even beat latency between commands if absolutely necessary) or you can gust them and move. Gusting also breaks octave.
They have a song that increases mana loss, so if he has that, you might want to hold off on clotting until right after you eat earwort. It'll cost less mana.
Quick note! You should try and gust them when they're OFF balance, because recently octave has been changed so we have a short grace period to get back in after being removed. I'm not sure how long it is, but I think we have 1-1.5~ seconds to re-enter the room before the octave falls. If you get them right as they go off-balance, you're more likely to have their octave fall.
Warriors can struggle with bards because of the whole dodge thing so don't let it get you down. All you need to know is that bard combat revolves around keeping people hearing so just politely ask them to stop doing that.
(No need to point out the the gigantic holes in basic bard offense! Not all of us have gimicky kill methods. Although DischordantChord has become somewhat of a novelty so maybe we do.)

A smart bard sits behind icewalls and refuses to leave. It's like a mini demesne. Only....worse.
edit: Sent By: (System) On 06/25/17:15 You have been appointed guild envoy!
You can also use Aleutian against the bard if they aren't keeping themselves deaf, and have their songs hit them as well. Think I'm remembering the right poison at least. If they are keeping themselves deaf and using Aleutian, then ibululu will undeaf them and again expose them to their songs briefly. Once you have a sense of timing for when they hit, you can make some progress.
