Urlach?

I'm looking for info on Urlach for a library project. It's not scholarly, so I'll be using plenty of poetic license, but I'd like to know as much of the background as I can anyway.

What I know:

He invented the Catacombs and undeadness.

The undead were mostly orclach, as was he.

Most of the other vernals did not approve of the undead (and Catacombs?)

I'm guessing there's more fluff on him than that, either in game or just by player convention. Please fill me in!

Urlach and Klangratch were BFFs except for the fact that Klangratch didn't want undead dorfs, which Urlach respected (or maybe was forced to respect because of Klangratch's Orb, the artifact that made dwarf souls immediately gtfo), just like Orlachmar and Clangorum

The ur'Guard were ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ORCLACH up until they moved to Magnagora

All the other undead weren't given sapience, only the orclach, so all the other species got raised as wights, skeletons, ghasts, etc, and liches were only orclach - the difference between gar'dead and ur'dead is sentience

He and Klangratch were the ones who found the Vernal Child, kept them safe in the Catacombs, called the council, and eventually got Great Muud sealed under Balach by using d'Varsha's scientific barrier thing - over Dionamus' protests. Juliana was okay with it but ended up saying at the end "This is probably the greatest crime mortality will remember us for."

He thought he could still beat Kethuru without forming Avechna, but ended up overruled by the other gods so he grudgingly did the fusion

His power comes from the fact that he was a mage. He wasn't a warrior. He fought with bolts of magic energy and all kinds of shit like that. 

Because he was a mage, it's said his intellect was only rivalled by d'Varsha's, which is a feat. He was able to look inside his being and find the scraps of the elixir that Orlachmar took, recognizing the fact that orclach had the same power as the Soulless, and experimented with it - and that's where necromancy came from, since he was the very first person to ever work with 'Taint' (yes i'm aware it's not Kethuru's) energies after the Traitors did

Urlach and Klangratch built all kinds of shit for each other. The Bone Helm of Urlach was a gift from Klangratch, the Spear of Klangratch was a gift from Urlach. Klangratch did forging, Urlach did enchanting, so naturally they got together and collaborated on 90% of all of their artifacts. Urlach's enchantments on the Klangratch TOurnies on Mt. Avechna is why people can spar in arenas and not die permanently.

That's all I can think of right now. I might edit this later if I think of more tidbits.

Also the proper name for the higher energies used by the Soulless is Excoroperditio. It's to Excorable energies as the Immanidivinus is to Divinus.

I thought Immanidivinus and Excoroperditio referred to the sources of the energies rather than the energies themselves?

I have issues with the notion that Urlach invented modern necromancy, although there's no question that the two arts are heavily parallel.

I did not see that mentioned in Marcella's post; I thought it was very explicitly stated that modern necromancy is not the same thing as what Urlach did.  However, it was as close as mortal-kind could get to what He did, and so it was embraced (by certain segments of Urlach worshippers at least).

That's one of the IG things that's argued about: pro-Taint people say that it's the exact same shit Urlach did, it's just that Luciphage invented it seperately - kind of like, say, two people on seperate sides of the world coming up with the same equation.

Anti-Taint people say that the undeath frmo the taint is way fucking different and is super abominable and is in no way the same and is stupid.

There's no denying Urlach was more POWERFUL with it, but we don't have GODS messing around with necromancy like Urlach was, so raising undead to the power of garwights or garshades or whatnot (catacombs mobs) aren't possible for mortals.
