Design commodities

Do designs ever end up with commodities randomly added to their requirements? More specifically, Casilu does not recall adding light essence to the commodities for the liquid plate armor and suggested asking here.

    No. If a design doesn't have the right commodities, it is rejected. If the trademaster wasn't the designer, they may have added in the lightessence (I guarantee it would have been asked for in the rejection) and resubmitted it without checking with the designer.

    I was both, but the last time I made the design (which was like 2 to 3 years ago), I don't remember having to grab light essence. 
    If I'm on topic, something has gone horribly wrong.
