Right! They can buy those and it will influence their damage. There's also an enhancement for weapons to turn some of their damage to a more desirable elemental/cosmic typing, in which case you can also buy those for those damage types too.
They used to be specialised for different things. It just so happened that the speed weapons were the most efficient so everyone went for the speed variant of each set. This is no longer the case; all weapons will perform to the same level and weapo…You mean to tell me that multiple people sharing the same kill method results in an increase of frequency in the execution of that particular kill method?

While runes are very helpful, I don't think there's a skillset which requires runes to pull off ever since knighthood was overhauled. Posting logs of your own experiences will probably help you a lot more than describing any concerns you might have.…BC is one of the better knighthood specs and I'm convinced you can pull of brainbash solo, having seen Kelly and Ixion pull it off.
