You can warn people about low stats when they're reckless (and about the recklessness itself), as a simple example, you can warn them about affs on them that allow for an insta (I don't even mean the hardly missable tahtetso one, but more things lik…
If you can also be force-moved INTO the room with the forcefield-holder, it still isn't quite as restrictive as GP. Can you fly over it (well aware that the places you mentioned would make that impossible)?
I thought it was already said that you can gust through forcewall? If it's just a barrier in one direction, it's not that bad. And if it doesn't stop started tumbles, it isn't even a barrier.
As an addition to the rules, I think it would be a good idea to prevent the normally available diagnose by spectators. Also, make the stats of the team members not visible to outsiders via ES <arenaname>. That prevents warnings and hints from …

Since bards already do have a choice with regards to tertiaries, wouldn't it make more sense to give them another secondary besides acrobatics? That would allow for more new combinations, in any case. That said, monks guil…
Off balance, aeon, stun and forced-move/stun/prone as passives on enemy attacks look nasty. Question is what the chance for each to fire is. Definitely a very nice skillset-theme, though.
I think trackers and demesne holders haven't been mentioned yet. I personally wouldn't call a healer in a regular MMO support, since their explicit role is healing. Support is someone who increases the combat abilties of a party as a whole by means …
Only just saw the reactions here to the change to tradeskills. I have a whole slew of trans tradeskill items myself and still love the change, because an arms race requiring you to even switch guilds and orgs to collect the pretty powerful things so…
I'm not missing any point, you just don't know what you're talking about if you think momentum 5 by itself even only nearly guarantees the kill that happened in your log. You need the wounds, need for prone to proc from starkick and for that, obviou…
Effective turtling can slow down momentum gain quite considerably. Hell, you can even put up serpent and just get twists as you get back power while being pretty much safe. You don't have to do anything between the twists to get people in toadrange …
Tell you what, chaining twists and combos for momentum 5/final twist is not comparable because you can just switch to turtle or run in between twists (which you do). Momentum 5 doesn't kill people, either, by the way. They're perfectly fine when you…
It's actually more effective to hinder a monk, since momentum decays, twists don't. That you can raise your momentum on mobs is sometimes useful, but I personally wouldn't mind it if switching from a mobile to a player made you lose all momentum.

I was pointing at the fact that normal regen was part of what you saw. It is still not outpacing, outpacing means I can continuously regen more than you drain, which is not the case, the regen tick is not nearly that fast, it ju…

Monks do mostly pretty harmless afflictions on low momentum. Sure, you do damage and wounding, but that doesn't do much on its own, the damage being rather low and the wounding not doing anything on its own at that point. You al…
No, it's like saying "You were in a room with an SD that has 6 twists on you while on eq and your mana already at only 80%". Shadowtwists are also only a result of what the SD does, and they make a burst mana drain paired with stun and aeon possible…

That's simply not true. You need high end momentum to get off good hindering, and I've yet to see scary monk damage these days. The only exception regarding hindering …
I don't understand the issue with shatteredankle for 1 mo, it is a worse affliction than tendon (since it is curable by allheale cures) and the prone status has to be achieved in addition to it. Certainly no power cost justified. As for the res…

Regeneration just ticked in between those two lashes; that doesn't mean it outpaces lashing. Besides, were there even shadows in the room to suppress normal regeneration?
