I would like the above post a hundred times if I could. So very much that. Finding a scenic route is a plus - I run along a stream that goes downtown and past various parks.

That's probably about 2.25-2.5 km if you're going at a gentle jog of a pace.
They have really nice gps/running apps for all that stuff if you have a smart phone. -
