  • (Quote) In Achaea, at least, this continues if you're below a certain level from memory. Might also happen if you drop something due to death. Handy for newbies so they don't lose all their herbs.
  • (Quote) Again, not what I'm saying, just that to some degree people are capable of respecting that someone is a non-com in their prime territory. If you keep them around in each org, then ideally they'll help retain people that will be intere…
  • (Quote) No, however, there are many players who appear to enjoy fulfilling play in this game through mechanics the admin have provided such as crafting and the like, these players bolster the numbers of organisations slightly and we need numb…
  • @Qistrel it's the typical behavior of the griefer.

Similarly, the "oh when I do it it's griefing?" arguments are pretty much the same thing as wel…
  • @Lerad

Fair, again it's just fiddling with numbers

I'm really not actually arguing that fae should be locked out, it was an off-hand com…
  • (Quote) Oh, that would be awesome. Though i'd be happy if we just had some designs that we could make for all of those in some artisan category (maybe decorations could cover the ones you drop in a room and floristry could cover the ones you wear/…
  • I am sad that I have yet to come across a sidequest that requires them to perform a concert
  • Extending the decorations thing, if a function is needed maybe they give an "aura of merriment" to the room that reduces hunger and tiredness loss. As in it would take you longer to get hungry or tired.
  • Short life span room decorations would be nice in artisan. Like, garlands, wreaths, streamers, banners, etc. Also handy for sprucing up the place when we're having player events.

EDIT: Would suggest a one decoration per room limit, rather…
  • (Quote) Oh, I already finished it but didn't want to talk too much about it.

I think as a game it's pretty good, wandering around the open world is fun and there's always some sort of side quest to do.

I just feel like the s…
  • (Quote) Looks like 14 for Serenwilde too, though that's when it's done over the course of an hour, when someone returns a group all at once it looks like it's 10 (but they might have just missed the rest).

    Unless someone else has grabb…
  • (Quote) As Xenthos has conveniently just highlighted, no we actually don't. Like all things to do with communes, there is a specific window when we can do this, in this case initiation is once every 32 hours.

    You're also making a seriou…
  • (Quote) If it works the way you say then it's only effective if you're literally on ethereal when it happens. If it's a yell then it should only work in the faethorn area so you'd probably need to actually be in there. I've only actually seen…
  • (Quote) Aww, but you're arguing that you and I have equal access to your cosmic mobs, so why should you be mad? Also I look forward to the seven extra rifts between continuum and various places around astral and elemental.

    Also, yo…
  • (Quote) I thank you for your permission to harvest the crystals on continuum without fear of an enemy status.
  • @Enyalida if that 180 estimate that Silvanus provided on cosmic generation is accurate, then faethorn provides less than a third of the power that a cosmic …
  • @Lerad Wow, no idea where this 210 estimate was coming from then. But thanks.

With 27 fae, I'd stipulate that like... 11 fae are pledged to Se…
  • @karlach someone autowalking through without paying attention would then most likely pick up a combination of the three types of fae and end up with less pow…
  • Can't check specifics due to the event, but I was thinking that 2/5 of the faethorn fae would want to go to Seren, another 2/5 want to go to Glom, and 1/5 want to stay in Faethorn. (Thirds would work as well, of course, just results in less bonus) <…
  • @Veyils yeah, though the issue I take with that is that the one-sided griefy mechanics that communes put up with are the ones that are on prime. Personally, I…
  • (Quote) Again, the reason I suggest a bonus for following the tah'vrai is that it is a mechanic that supports the rp (afaik, there's no bonus or malus for ignoring it) without making more power readily available to the cities. If we accept th…
  • @Anaklusmos
You need to remove totems from communes, for the purposes of this discussion they're irrelevant.

You need to note that ether…
  • (Quote) Solution 1 in the report, last I checked, included modifications to ethereal essence creatures as compensation for the loss of passive power generation. Solution 2 incorporates a reduction in the passive power generation.

    Discus…
  • (Quote) And you're arguing that the cities should have more options than communes. You're arguing that everything that communes have access to the cities should also get, but the cities should have more options than communes. You're somehow arguing…
  • @Iytha, if you're looking at defences you'd need the latter because you're looking at how much coverage you need to at least hit the person with one totem/stat…
  • True, but like getting the first nine all in one compilation is pretty nice.
  • Not sure if it was mentioned already, but this...

  • @Falmiis you can use that emoticon, but realistically the arguments being made that cities and communes should be different has nothing to do with parity wha…
  • @iytha mostly just going off of... Silvannus's numbers from memory,
  • (Quote) Realistically though, having a look across all power generation. All of it is ultimately shared. The only aspects that aren't common to all orgs are totems/cosmic generation, so once totem generation goes away whatever the cities get from …
