I agree...I've been trying really hard for Lillie to act more like a Moon priestess, and getting lots of positive reception for it, so hopefully things catch on in Serenwilde!
Moondancers (it'd be really neat if we could have one of these three depending on the phase of the moon): Waxing crescent - half moon: You find yourself standing before Moondance tower - no, above it, gazing down at a group of peopl…
Well, it's supposed to be a shadowy figure...between you being a Shadowdancer and me always snorting for my life at the first sight of you, I haven't gotten a look at your description so I'm just like "try to make it look like a person made of darkn…
Big, big thank yous to the Gloms who hunt me down while I'm influencing on Faethorn...and rather than turn Lillie into a bloody smear, debate instead. Makes things a lot less griefy and discouraging.
I just had a thought...different sorts of mottoes. Not everyone is filled with proud joy; some people have had their worldviews beaten into them, or are brash and resolute about them. An example:
I think I remember this suggestion from the other thread, but...how about you just can't make stuff of someone you've snubbed? That seems to be the simplest solution, rather than making a big change just because of one person. If the subject moving …
Piers Anthony and Steven King. Given the sheer volume of each of their libraries, and the fact that they just keep adding to them, I don't think I'll ever run out of things to read. Brian Jacques would be in the same category, but I rea…
I agree. If I want to gauge the RP atmosphere of a guild or city, I just go there a few times and strike up conversation! No one can give you a better idea of what the people are like in an organization than the people themselves. Have some fun ques…
That watercolor one blew my mind. I've always been more of a writer, except for an "I can draw!" phase in high school in which lots of weeaboo stuff was churned out. Ugh.
Seeing some of these tutorials is really making my "draw something"…
At the risk of looking like a suck-up, I'm inclined to agree with Eventru here. It's such a large undertaking, and to have it met with complaints rather than understanding would be incredibly discouraging to me.
I just like Serenwilde. Even though I've been playing for a while, I still get somewhat lost in it from time to time, and it really gives the impression of "deep, mysterious forest" without being super dark about it.
It'd be great if Lillie could find someone to marry. He's not very approachable and is frankly quite naive about people's intentions towards him, though. After his first romance ended in a breakup that really wrenched his heart good, he decided to "…
A novice actually asked me to be his mentor without me ever mentioning anything of the sort. Made me feel good about the new RP angle I've been trying since coming back.
It'd be neat if you could do something of Lillie, since I lost my only artist's rendering of him ages ago. But I can see you're being rather flooded with requests as it is.
I'm glad that there's plenty to get Lillie involved in after the absence. I was afraid that not showing up regularly for, uh...2 years...would leave me helplessly behind everyone else. But hey, you buy up some clothes, sell off your stockpiled herbs…
In that case I'll be getting to work as soon as Lillie's cobbled enough supplies together to start influencing. Thanks, and I'll be popping my head back in here again if I hit a snag.
Aha! Thanks for the help. I forgot about the scripting language, and that was throwing me way off, having come to the conclusion that "send to script" wouldn't work as it was just returning errors.
