Remind me. Constructs don't cost gold to construct now, do they? Could reintroduce that. Also, theoretically you can research more constructs for gold. That already exists as a potential option.

They changed it for Mercy, Kingdom, Perfection and Beauty because those rings do not use any balance to rub. The others do take balance however.

You can always get the honours later on. I do recall though that when I graduated, I felt very awesome because there was (honours) behind it, and I noticed that others didn't have that. Made me feel like I had done something great.
