  • (Quote) Fixed. Ab file updated as well, since I was pulling my info from there!
  • Regarding the Enchantment stuff, I've put together a first draft of a help file for the different (base skill) enchantments under HELP ENCHANTMENT ITEMS (7.21.1). My plan right now is to do something similar for all of the trade skills over the next…

Edit: Proper answer: Ads share their data structures with another system (because someone in Achaea about 15 years ago thought that'd be a good idea for some unfathomable reason), and so any entries in …
  • What do you mean by "don't have the permissions"? What specifically isn't working, and what error messages are you getting?
  • The dowsing crystal has a two-second equilibrium cost.

  • (Quote) Transistor is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.
  • Some day one of you will figure out the hidden meanings behind those "placeholder" messages and your heads will explode.
  • Yes.

  • GUILD ADVANCE already appears to work with covenants. Are there any other novice promotion/advancement related commands of relevance that I'm not seeing?
  • Right now I'm not really looking into changing the whole scope covenants are meant to cover, messing with guild identities, etc.; at this point I'm mostly just wanting to find ways to make covenants as they stand now a bit more useful.

    My…
  • I got to see Eddie Izzard perform the other night. It was great.

God to Charles I: "You look like an astronaut!"
  • For the help files thing, would something along the lines of all guildhelp files ending with the suffix "cov" being automatically kept in sync across both guilds work?

For example, if the Cuddlemancer and the Snugguardian guilds have a co…
  • Regarding Rothfuss, he revealed recently that a new Kingkiller book is coming out I think this fall. Not part three of the trilogy, sadly, but IIRC it's going to be (related to) Auri and her background.
  • The goop infos have the messages included in the descriptions now.

  • (Quote) ...what else would one want out of life a book?
  • (Quote) This one?

Started reading Glen Cook's The Black Company series a couple days ago.
  • I know, it's awful. I want winter back.

    ...wait, wrong thread.
  • (Quote) It's not a concert if they're lip-syncing.
  • I removed what amounted to a pretty major spoiler from your post, since I can't seem to make this forum's spoiler functionality work.

Discussion with spoilers is fine if it's in it's own thread with a warning in the title, but let's try a…
  • I was going to try mentioning a few of my favourite characters from the series, but then I realized that I'd have had to list of basically 70% of the cast.
  • That Stitch+Toothless image that Daraius posted was too much. I squealed like an Ieptix that saw something unbearably cute, and suddenly I had my first new desktop background in four years.
  • It would be more work to write code to do that stuff, tbh, given the small number of trades thus far.
  • Ok, anyone who traded dolls before this point, give it an hour and they should have reset properly to your inventory. If after an hour there's a doll in your DOLL LIST that hasn't reset to you, drop me a message, since it looks like a few dolls got …
  • Forgot to change reset rooms on traded dolls. Oops.
  • (Quote) You may have lots of dolls, but there miiiiiight be a Xenthos exception on trading.

  • Did the angles sum to more or less than 180 degrees? This is an important question, since this will determine the curvature of space and thus the fate of the universe!
  • The Malazan Book of the Fallen. Should keep you occupied for a few months. Or longer.

A substantial component (though far from all) of the series is based around and follows the exploits of a few armies (mix of high and low medievalish-er…
  • Sanderson's writing is pretty good. I haven't read Stormlight because I already have too many unfinished series that I've read through and am loathe to add another one, but I've read Elantris and Mistborn and a few of his short stories and enjoyed t…
