When I played my first MUD, I really wanted to be a forest warrior, like a ranger from D&D. Their classes didn't provide the right mix of nature and combat, and Lusternia gave me pretty much exactly what I wanted.

You failed to understand the "customize the hat" part. Lots of people wear hats. Change the look of the hat to fit your RP, and they'll never know you're a liar.

The "old man" part seems aimed directly at me, and I barely even play now, so whatever is still there has very little to do with me. The majority of my own "dissatisfaction" has to do with the pointless, disparaging remarks like this. However, YMMV.It's ironic, at least.
