I'm looking to get it for PC. Be sure to pick up the original version if you're on PC, or you pay $20 for mostly extras on other games (you'd have to pay into to get any use from the extras).
Also just make the existant powers useful for... something. Like dessicate! There was even a report dedicated to making dessciate remotely worth bothering to spend weight or essence on. Also, all non-combat/pure flavour powers should cost no weight …
You immediately snap back to your body as a ghost, but I'm rather sure that you do take regular death penalties for your dreambody location. So if you have conglute, you'll then conglute from where your body is etc. This does mitigate some death pen…
Welcome to the demishop. Most if not all of the RP powers are kinda overpriced, overweighted, or both. Almost all of the newer powers like masquerade and dessicate are poor implementaions of much better player ideas.
Oh yeah. That probably does need to be a slower ability to go to Nirvana, that wouldn't really break anything. Make it a channel with a cool set of messages.
Also huh, I'm pretty sure you do get enemy territory deaths if your dreambody dies in enemy territory. That's just not significantly worse for non-demis, the way it is for demigods.
Dreamweaving itself isn't necessarily aimed at those kinds of players, dreambody is. At least, that's been my impression, I can't pull out a quote from administration directly saying that. They might have said it, but I just didn't log it
They become aggressive as part of the quest which starts with touching the pillar, once the first few phases are completed, starting a new Dream War. This is not linked to one player, it's a mini-event type thing that lasts until the Dream War is re…
Metawake doesn't eliminate the usefulness of sleep, it just makes it a little more involved to lock people in sleep. People will often times wake up well before metawake would tick, if they are not aeoned or sapped, if you don't strip kafe (somethin…
There have always been a lot of misconceptions and misunderstandings about dreamweaving, dreambodies, and what they can and cannot do. Part of this stems from the years when dreambody was so buggy that there wasn't any telling what was an fea…
Rage/Terror are the one exception to the inclusion of non-Moon/Night users via construct auras, iirc. Possibly you also can't use them for longnight either?
It does drop shields. So does moving around in dreambody last I checked, so you'd need someone stationed on you to keep salting you (or just to salt you when called for).
The manse linking thing (shouldn't) work anymore, fyi. It might still be considered the same plane, but you can't do things like stand in an orgbix room and dreamweave around prime anymore.
First, it's dreamweaving and not sleepweaving. Especially in the (unreleased) new Dreamweaving, the focus is on weaving dreams that you bring into reality, not on getting the targe…
Right, but that's not really a risk. You can see your health totals going down and pop into Nirvana, becoming immune to her attacks. The crotamine technique was useful because it gives no symptoms to the dreambody, while damage attacks can be detect…
There isn't any functional risk. Any death from attacks on your dreambody can be accounted entirely to user error. There is only one form of hindering someone (who isn't also a dreamweaver) can do against a dreambody,…
It's worth noting that while you are in the dream realm, you actually are totally invulnerable to assault from the standard parts of Lusternia. I don't think that's actually clear in the AB, I'll see if any gods think it's worth adding (via ol' ABBU…
