Did you just test it? Last I checked, hyperactive does avoid demesne watch... somehow. I distinctly remember getting into an argument with someone about how silly that was.

  • Wasn't it once outside of the dmp system?

    Dat whirl staff tho.
  • It's probably just set to the base time, working as it did before on a fully rested enemy.
  • Veil wasn't a significant part of what happened in general, at least from my perspective. I generally had fun, though I was puzzled by people continually suicide running into a giant squad of people waiting to kill them. Got to poke fun at Magnagora…
  • Low to mid level resistances were overvalued in the previous system. Sip bonus levels and being able to kill what's hurting you faster outpowered them in the majority of cases. You shouldn't be significantly less tanky without them, once everything …
  • .. And is pierced by all methods of tracking by anyone else with said item, in a game with tracking skills that report easy to echo messages on every movement the target makes. Good ol apples to oranges.

    Hahaha, I can't believe you…

  •  Wildewoods (more so than Wyrdenwoods) are very very good at one particular hindering combo, completely by (my) design. Against targets who do not have any dodging, passive curing, or writhe mitigation (contort etc.), a Wildewood can force a tumble …
  • Veil is an awful awful broken skill, always has been, still is. The only way you 'combat it' is by spamming teleport/flow/moonbeam or having someone sit in havens spamming seek with everyone triggering off their called location.

  • That tends to happen when you taunt people under Avenger protection while you menace their quest mobs (dragging a seemingly hapless buddy into a combat zone after he was given a free 'get out of here before you get attacked' pass.).

  • @Baelor has updates on that, I believe.
  • It's probably worse the other way around, when someone erroneously tells you that you won't need to leave an order to join and you leave your org only to find they were wrong. Totally, completely wrong, in a way that reading any of the relevant scro…
  • You're doing watermelon so wrong if it's mysteriously stickier than other fruit.

I find it useful for concepts intended to be 'untranslatable', more complicated meaning that you want to separate from the regular understanding of the word(s) you'd use in 'common' to explain it. It should therefore …
  • That certainly is one quasi-solution: Lower base resists across the board so that the caps aren't as trivial to reach. Being able to actually reach higher levels than others is another way to handle it (though again, 1-3 levels is only 1-3% added pe…
  • That's the problem with "we'll just wait and see how it plays out", it puts all the onus on particular envoys to argue for changes away from a new status quo, instead of from the previous one.
  • Serenwilde Vengeance is the best non-base scenario I've played, tied with Hallifax. Everyone assumes that the 'Dark Druids' are Blacktalon though
  • My impression during that whole thing was that nothing any player could have said would have removed shackles from that list entirely.

EDIT: As in, there is something to be said for not being passive about it, but you can't lay…
  • That's true, not all elfens are Serenwilders or vicea versa. However, the spec races are generally balanced around their spec versions - in the same way that we balance skillsets around transcendent. Nothing is balanced around "What if I don't feel …
  • Other people in this thread (and evidently beyond) who have far less claim to frustration than you do seem to carry a lot of animosity towards Kelly about it.
  • The majority of that isn't @Kaimanahi though, it's the Celestine envoy and administration. I'm a little confused why in Tweets VI: The Tweetsixteenth Comment by Enyalida June 2015
  • I made a thread to hopefully talk about the regeneration focused demi-powers, and to come up with alternatives to replace them.
  • Everyone buys divinus for that reason - it's such a great damage typing for bashing.

On that note, will npc resistance levels be weakened? That is, will difference between a non-resisting and a highly resistant mob be narrowed, as well as…

Yes. None of the stats are carrying through.
  • It doesn't do sleep attrition anymore.

    Teehee, 'save money'.
  • They are bad, read my comments on the relevant reports. Not end-of-the-world bad, but not in the right direction at all.
  • They do not. They cause them to be created faster, which is not what's being suggested.

The pith helmet should be a goop skin for the boots.
  • You got whisper and phantoms backwards?
  • Most of the intro descriptors are poor, iirc.
