Maintain uses the commodities of the design, not the patterns. So if you are trying to maintain a design that has an old commodity value (as all will do right now), then it will cost an amount proportional to that number, not the new …
We've now implemented the Artisan changes. We have taken into account your suggestions regarding smalltables, kegs and desks, and you'll find the added bonus that tables are now, in fact, actually tables.
To make sure we're getting these right - because some of the changes are huge! - we wanted to run these by you first. We're including them both in a handy coloured version, and in a plain text.
Just a quick note from us to apologise for the delay in getting through our inbox! If we're quite honest, most of us collapsed in exhaustion the moment we got everything released. We're hoping to catch up on our inbox in the next few days and, also,…
Requesting ideas for new patterns is on Our list, but as mentioned is being placed behind the commodity review in priority. We will be calling for suggestions at some point soon, so feel free to think of them, but don't make formal requests at this …
Per Changelog 1753, those new values are now live.
We're going to work on discussing the cosmetic Forging patterns and the Artisan costs next. If you have other trades you want Us to look at in terms of minimum commodity costs, please kee…
Changing how armour (and weapons) work is not really within the remit of Our overhaul - We just look after the designing side of it, not the armour and weapons system it's linked to. We managed to squeeze out a few things but more major changes aren…
We're open to reducing these as We agree that whilst the logic behind Our changes is sound, the numbers are too high considering the cost of the commodities involved. We scaled these as mentioned on the damage ra…
RE: Commodity costs. As noted in the newsposts We do want to keep reviewing this, so if you have a concern about a new cost (or an existing one that hasn't been changed) then just comment here with the specific cost(s) you're concerned about. We won…
@Daraius The difficulty with rare ingredients is that if you include them, you need to also list those limitations somewhere. Let's take ginger for an exampl…
@Shaddus Yes, that's Our new changes showing up. Scale (and Chain) jackets offer the same amount of armour as Plate, so their costs have been normalised. All…
After about three and a half hours, We're delighted to have turned the system back on! We're sinking this thread now in favour of Our new queries threa…
We are about a third of the way through Our work now. Much of what We are doing is unfortunately manual and in places quite persnickety, so there is only so much We can do to speed it up.
Today's downtime will occur at approximately 2pm GMT. We will endeavour to keep the downtime as short as possible, but due to the extensive nature of the changes We unfortunately cannot give you an ETA.
Existing designs will remain as they are, however it will be possible for Trademasters to request modifications. When We announce everything, We'll give the details on how that will work and how to make the requests.
Credit for speed goes wholly to our fantastic reviewers! We don't have many right now, and we're hugely grateful to the hard work of those precious few.
One of the things included in our current Giant Project of Doom (this may not be its …
Just to clarify for the future - you should message us directly if you want a commodity added. We won't always add it, but if we don't we'll let you know what you should substitute assuming it's an acceptably IC material.
