You don't actually have to say that, I think. The second time I tested it, I just did CT Hello, and it worked.
I've run through this again, and I just wanted to say that I definitely like all the adjustments made to give more direction and make it clearer what needs to be accomplished before the guides poof on you.

I definitely had my journal before finding it in the ruins, because I accidentally gave it to one of the collegium people. I think it may have been in the backpack, although I don't remember exactly.
