I have an awesome dad. After I managed to kill Lady Macbeth (my Macbook) by somehow letting her overheat four days before the deadline of my thesis, he drove here this morning and fixed her. Now, I can finally write in peace again.

I am almost in London. Big airports are so exciting. I can see flights going really everywhere.(And I managed not to get lost so far even though there are hundreds of gates)I think that there are three of them plus one prequel. Hehe, same here. Mine looks a bit fringed, but that's just because I've taken it to so many places (scout camps etc.) and spent some time travelling with it.
Oh, and regarding fantasy books, I can recommend the Otherland series by Tad Wil…The problem with my degree is, that it'll be difficult to find a job after graduation. I hope that I'll be able to stay at university and teach but since we are so few, I guess, lots of people have the same plan.

I am not a real archaeologist but a digital humanist. We're something like envoys between computer scientists and humanities scholars and therefore have to take a humane discipline during our BA as well. My thesis is basically about using digital me…I am currently re-reading The Portable Door by Tom Holt. In my opinion, it's light and funny...and I love everything urban-fantasy related.

Yeah, now that you say it, it makes sense. One of the reports I read was from the first expedition which took place around 1930, while the others were from the 80s.
