That also might run back into the issue of changing squads or ships, and what happens to the logs then. And whether you can do SQTELLS or SHIPTELLS while no longer in a squad or on a ship, and if so, what it returns.
Like I said, it keeps a personal list. you can log off and back on and TELLS still shows a list. You only see the last ones you were present for, you cant see ones you werent in a squad for. EXACTLY like tells behave now.
It's possible GTELLS et al. already work the same way. If you couldn't hear something because of what plane you were on, does it show later when you do GTELLS? If not, that probably means it keeps a separate list for everyone already.
@Iasmos: You do know that the user already knows what defense is removed when they use alteraura? The only reason I ask for the inclusion is for when looking back over logs. I could easily code something that displays the defense myself, but not everyone can.
I know this has been suggested before, and I know it's not really necessary if people weren't jerks or people better at not caring about things that don't ultimately matter -- but clearly that's not going to happen, so:
Implement a 30 second cooldown between sending someone a tell or message, or saying something in the same room as them, and being able to snub them.
Better yet: Have snub work as it does today, but have it in two stages: First snub temp-bans them, and if you after a certain period of time snub them again, it becomes permanent. That way heat-of-the-moment snubs will go away on their own, and abuse-related snubs are still permanent.
I've suggested this before and I know it likely isn't an easy fix but I'd like to get it out there again, can the way crafting works in regards to having commodities be changed such that if you have the materials in your rift you don't need to outrift them explicitly to craft? I feel it would streamline the whole effort. Thanks

I do alchemy, and I don't want to use my own herbs to make potions for other people unless they are paying me for my own herbs, and I feel like this change would make that happen more often than I would want it to, as I normally don't look at my inventory to make sure I have the herbs, but judge whether or not I have them by trying to add them to the alembic.
edited for tact
A whisper from the trees and a frosty presence tells you, secretly, "But you are strong, little
flower, and wise." The voice shifts and expands, becoming more real. "And everything you just said
in the ritual made me feel safer. You should, too."
Yeah, I think the auto-outrift idea is only a good one if you could turn it on and off somehow. A config setting, or have it only happen if you add "FROM RIFT" to the end of the command line for crafting, or something.
Not sure how popular this would be, but I would really like it f I could pull up all of the designs marked as mine, across all trades and without belonging to the cartels or having the trade. Beats having to harass people when I can't remember where a particular sketch has ended up, or puttering around wondering "what does that thing look like I made once upon a time".

A message for when you smoke the last of something in your pipe, just like there is for vials or herbs or scrolls or enchantments or... well, anything else, really.
Command to delete all decay messages at once please.
Try MSGS DELETE FROM SYSTEM if it's appropriate - it deletes all system messages, though, so it may not be.
I don't want to try that one since I am afraid it will not reset my message counter back down again.
I really wish that there was a way to do so.
EG: If I have message 1601, 1600, 1599, and 1598; if I delete them in order (1601 -> 1600 -> 1599 -> 1598) one-by-one, the next message I receive will be #1598. If I mess up and delete 1600 before I delete 1601, the next message I receive will be 1601.
This leads to my message counter slowly going up every time I screw up or someone leaves me a new message while I'm deleting others.
I've got exactly 20 messages (most of which I want to keep), but my message count is now up to 1574. Boo!
I'm down to 15 now! I feel like true hoarding would be if I still had all the 10,000+ I've received (I keep the count down by continually deleting them, much to Svorai's dismay).
o There is a new MSGS command: MSGS RENUMBER. This will work sequentially through your current messages and re-index them all with consecutive numbers, starting from 1. >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------<
Everiine said: The reason population is low isn't because there are too many orgs. It's because so many facets of the game are outright broken and protected by those who benefit from it being that way. An overabundance of gimmicks (including game-breaking ones), artifacts that destroy any concept of balance, blatant pay-to-win features, and an obsession with convenience that makes few things actually worthwhile all contribute to the game's sad decline.
If possible, and if it's not too difficult, can we get "PORTAL SEARCH SHOPS <blah> EXACT", so that we can search for whatever as an independent word exclusively?
That way if we search for "ink", we don't get every last thing with pink in it as well, etc
A sash of some sort which you can affix wands and rods and magic item curios to so you don't have to wield them to use them.
And something in environment that permits you to check all mountain elevations above you for mobs, entrances and such. I keep forgetting where the entrance to the Meliashmora is.
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Until then, "glowing" tends to have fewer (but still some) false positives.
Can the message for trying to whip something with a dingbat whip when you're not wielding it be changed from the standard "lol what are you trying to do you don't know how to do that" to "you must be wielding a whip first"?

Odder still is searching anything relative to tinkering (or even part of the word), and getting every item enchanted by a tinker...
