Re: How do we deal with event participation?
I would definitely like to extend a very heart-felt 'thank you' to the members of the Coven who put so much time and energy into a story for us all to enjoy. It is such a difficult balance between the IC reactions your characters should have and the OOC reality that these people invested so much and took such a risk.
In the case of the Bloodtide Coven, because of the nature of some of the actions I can see how it makes it difficult for certain orgs to let go of their ideals and accept a member, but that also leaves few options for the players. I am curious how much advance knowledge of the story the players had in order to make their decision to participate? One strong example was the murder of the child - were the players given enough time to decide if this was a direction they wanted their character to go in so that they could understand the possible repercussions?

Shifting streams of light filter in through the bough-pierced pinnacle of the ceiling, filling the heart of the barrow with rollicking constellations and
capering shadows. Arranged in a sweeping arc, great graven stelai strung with intricately braided ropes loom protectively, drawing focus to the gargantuan tree that commands the centre of this clearing.

Since Xiran is older, I thought this might be a nice opportunity to show some appreciation for Saran, who's always awesome with ritual, and Galaphyrae too. No-prize awarded for spotting the pun.

In Tzarin did the Avenger rouse mortalkind, for it was the Trial of Knowledge that was now at hand. Bearing the honour of Inquisitor, Avechna began to ask questions of ancient and modern histories to all who dared to become the Sealbearer of Knowledge.
20 questions were asked overall, and in the beginning it appeared that Kalaneya of Glomdoring would burn through the questions with ease. However, soon, she was supplanted by Uzriel of Magnagora who continued to dominate the rest of the Quiz. Following behind him, Kalaneya, Esei of Glomdoring, and Sutekh of Lusternia vied with brilliance and startling memory, answering what questions they could recall about the Elder, Vernal, and mortal histories. By the time half the questions were done, and even later, when three-fourths of them were read, the points accrued stabilized into tiers that remained consistent till the very end.
Thus, at the endow the Quiz, it would be Uzriel of Magnagora who stood triumphant, his vast recollection of Lusternia's histories and lore earning him victory. Congratulations, Uzriel, our new Sealbearer of Knowledge!

I finally got to Rhizoda Mangrove and it's beautiful. The quest is neat with lovely lore to devour. I really like the way that the hidden items part is done. It's a fun puzzle solving the clues rather than having to poke everything.
