1 - @Janalon 1000%, she basically kept me in the game and cultivated my interest in lore. Also @Rancoura because #rpgoalsJanalon did such a fantastic job with Nekotai. I had like rudimentary ideas that Janalon would 1000% carry, far beyond anything I could do. Best GA ever.

- Who has been a lasting influence on your character, player-wise?
- Do you have any OOC direct inspirations (characters from literature, games, etc.) for your character? If so, who or what are they? If not, where do you draw inspiration for how you think about your character?
- What is one current denizen that you would like to know more about?
- For those of you who are leaders (either of guilds or cities/communes), how do you stay motivated to continue doing the work that you do?
- When you are not in-game, do you ever get ideas for designing, roleplay, etc.? Where or how do you keep them? In your head? A notepad beside your computer? Other places?
- Show me your favorite design from another player (or at least, not designed by you)!
1. Quite a few of the older Serens in various ways, lots of times promoting the full spectrum/depth of Seren.Terentia said:I am the Questionmaster.

1. @Xypher. As Eri's unofficial mentor and official hero back in their Serenwilde days, Xypher was responsible for Eri's rise in politics/service, as well as honestly the only reason I stuck around with the game. After years of rolling throwaway characters that never really stuck, I happened to run into someone super cool, super helpful AND super svelte. This guy gets nothing but my highest praises forevermore.Terentia said:I am the Questionmaster.

1. Shayle, obviously. Much of the early Nimaet/Stormcrow family, esp. Ried. And of course Xiran, for transforming Synl in a very organic way.2. The Prince of Frost for the aesthetics.
3.
4. When this was the case, ie. when I was a teenager, just really wanting to leave a mark and make something timeless. Nowadays I don't care for that.
5. Just in my head, though honestly, Synl is probably the character I care least about. I had a lot of fun ideas for Mollorg, the monstrous Krokani of Hallifax, but I missed my artifacts just like a whole lot. For my TTRPG characters, I will write things down, usually by immediately messaging the DM of that game and pitching the idea to them.
6. Evey just finished this for me. It's a fair bit better than my original proposition of 'just like a really long black cloak...':
The leather of this cloak, composed from the hide of a monstrous midnight beast, finds itself thicker than the average supple hide. Meticulously hand-carved, a great scene of a snowstorm has been pressed into the hide. Blustering winds, represented by swirling lines as well as small dots for specks of ice, find their way into contentious chaos within the landscape. While small animals can hardly be seen within, a few ice-covered corpses can be found upon further inspection. Fitting decidedly tightly, the material begins just below the chin of its ward and drifts downwards to the shoulder blades. Embracing the neck with great ardour, the leather extends itself downwards to the collar bones where several etched silver talismans have been securely attached. Well worn, the symbols displayed upon the etchings have long ago been lost to time, leaving their meaning a well kept secret. Two fairly large silver snowflakes reside just beside the shoulders on this cloak. Each snowflake has a simple base design of four points with various points sticking out from within. From there, small pieces of crushed diamonds build upon them, making it seem as if each snowflake was encased within a layer of ice itself. Adding an air of decadence and wealth to the cloak, two large mountainous pauldrons arise skywards from their securely attached position on the shoulders. Lounging behind the shoulders and providing nothing more than added drama, an obscene amount of spider silk drifts down into a pool on the ground behind its owner. No great scene has been depicted upon this fabric. Instead, only a simple background of ebon with several varying shapes of snowflakes lies within. Each snow speck varies in shape, size and length; however, each has been adorned with a few speckles of crushed diamond to glisten in the available light.
Consume:
The ghostly body of this cocktail swims with indistinct dark shapes
as you bring it to your lips, with the opacity of the concoction making
it impossible to discern precisely what they are. Cold, creamy coconut
laced thoroughly with sweet lychee establishes an immediate presence,
actively competing with the zing of rice wine and the nuance of white
rum. As the drink lingers upon your palate, tart flourishes of
strawberry rise to the fore. The aftertaste sharpens into zesty notes of
lime and lemongrass, which cede and melt back away on the next quaff
should one be claimed.
Smell:
A cold caress of fruit essence twined amidst coconut and lemongrass chills your nostrils.
Taste:
Smooth coconut blossoms with sweet flourishes of lychee and strawberry amidst rum and rice wine.
1. I don't know, Eritheyl I guess would be my influence so far. Very early on he encouraged my shenanigans and helped form my characters initial personalityTerentia said:I am the Questionmaster.

Clearly that will induce a phobia of logging off in you, and therefore prevent you from logging off ever! (Going as planned :P )Taemira said:@Maylea every interaction with you has been absolutely amazing. This has been my first time ever getting involved with an Order, and it has been a blast. Though I have to say that you've caught me off-guard every single time. First couple times I was just about to hit enter on logging off to go do something for a bit, and then tonight "It's late, I'mma go talk to the air for a bit... whoops!". Needless to say, I now get a little nervous when I go to log off.
