1. For those of you who whom took up a God or Goddess that had been previously held, what was the biggest attribute about them that made you nervous? How did you overcome it?

2. Many of us upstairs look at our godroles the way you look at your mortal roles! I do often think "What would Lantra do in this situation?" when other admin share logs of their orderlings with me. I enjoy tackling all the nuances in my godrole and trying to determine where her strengths and weaknesses lie. Speaking for myself, I don't think much about my old characters and their stories anymore, except as fond memories that inspire me to create new and exciting memories for Lusternia's players.

3. With Lantra, I'm proud of taking a historical character that could have been rather two-dimensional ("Nice, merciful good healer who loves everyone!") and turning her into someone more complex with grudges, painful losses and deep-seated beliefs and convictions. A lot of deeper layers to her character are getting to finally come out in interactions with players, and it's been a real joy to reveal those bit by bit with Celest and the Order through visions, the Rhapsody quest and other events.

And while I am happy with what I've been able to do so far, I have to agree with Mys: my biggest accomplishment as Lantra is having players see what I'm trying to do with the role and appreciating it.

1) I've covered this a little in my latest godblog, but the long and short of it is that Mysrai seemed to have deep memories with everyone in their order, and a lot of that went undocumented apart from the player's own memory. It was incredibly worrying to think that after a day or three I might turn people off of Mysrai because I wouldn't remember the things that was important about them. I was able to overcome it once I realised that worrying about that was stopping me from interacting with my order members and the people who were eager to see what sort of Mysrai I was.

2) Oh, absolutely. I don't think you can invest years and years of your life into a character and then just wipe them away completely. However, part of our training to become gods is to recognise when your first instinct is one of these thoughts you've built up over years of playtime and then re-examine them. Now when I read logs I still think about what my responses as a mortal would be, but I also recognise those as "<Mortal Name> Thoughts", separate from both my "Mysrai Thoughts" and "Admin Thoughts". 

3) I made a tae'dae priest that's just an actual bear. Feels pretty fantastic. But in serious talk, my accomplishments are all things that probably don't seem like actual accomplishments. Every time I see someone rave about RP, post a log about an interaction I led for them, or anything like that...I count that as a delightful accomplishment, because I helped someone else feel what I used to strive to make for myself as a player.

Terentia is the best.

We all know that with the rising of the Threshold Abyss, no mortal can Ascend to become a true God. However, were the Threshold Abyss no longer here, what God(dess) would you become upon Ascension? Title, area of control, general aesthetic, etc. What part of your character is getting pushed out to an extreme? 

This is an awesome one! I had to think about it all afternoon and really, I'm still stuck on a few things asked there.
My thoughts on it are: Evette is really really passionate about whatever she is trying to accomplish or skills she feels she needs to work on. So if that were to be pushed out to an extreme and warp, I could it turning into a controlling nature. Now, she studied Shiki for 300(ish?) years? The girl can hunt, and knows what devotion is. 
And that is where I get stuck :P

1. The conversation she had with Cheli last night had my family questioning my sanity over how much laughing was happening. 
2. I don't have one, really.
3. I didn't get to see the Greeve, but I have a love / hate relationship reading about it. It involved EVERYONE in the commune. It made us change our way of thinking, and made us absolutely come together. I was incredibly well written, and there are a few subtexts I still pick up on every time I read something new about it. But on a very serious note. Lets not do that again.
4. Having the guts to do what she is doing now. 
5.There is a wyvern running around that is very Gaudi and very very pretty. Evey couldn't bear to keep it after what happened with the city, so something beautiful went to someone beautiful.

Serpentine in her lissome build, this wyvern stands upon two powerful hind legs,preceded by a set of front legs that are smaller, but clawed and savage. Her flashing copper hide glistens amidst skittering violet sparks, her scales ever- wreathed in a sweltering heat that leaves the colours hazy and rippling like a  desert mirage. Muscular and slender, the wyvern bares sharp fangs, expelling a puff  of hot air with her long snout as she flaps golden wings limned with cloying  incense. She flicks her tail idly, bright eyes shining a smoky pearl. A flashing copper wyvern with golden wings limned with cloying incense looks to be crushingly strong.

I was having a rough day today and was planning on just logging in to spin the wheel, do a few rounds of influence, and then logging off for the day so that I didn't feel like I was wasting the free buffs I have from the wheel. 

Instead, I noticed Parhelion asking Terentia's order if we would be attending a rite. Before the rite, Parhelion sprung a design I made for the order upon Terentia (something I wasn't expecting at all). I had assumed that it would just be up for divine review and that it wouldn't come up in-game. After Terentia looked it over she said a number of kind things to me about the design that I was, admittedly, very anxious about. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by my time spent in Lusternia today.

Tl;dr I had a bad day and would like to offer thanks to the people in the Dagger for making it just a little better. It means a lot
